Title (10/10)
It was definitely creative and original! It was really sad but a happily sad if that makes sense! The last line reflects on the title, which I always love when it comes to stories!
Foreword (11/15)
So I really liked the foreword an thought it was different but the thing is the grammar was slightly off so you should probably fix that when you get the chance. It was certainly unique.
Characters (17/20)
I just want to say that you made the characters and their developments in a brilliant way! And since this story is a tragedy it’s really important for readers to connect with the characters. Plot twists were just so unexpected! I did not see the mum coming in or the girl dying! I don’t want to ruin the story for others too much but I had to put that there because it was just so tragic and I almost teared! The only thing I thought was a bit strange was in 1998 and 1999, the girl is 12 and 13 so she probably wouldn’t have known or understood many things that were happening. Especially in that day of age since yes, children are smart these days but in those days it would’ve been different and I couldn’t tell at all that it was 1998 if it wasn’t in the title.
Narrative Elements (27/30)
I thought this part was really well done. I think some bits went from 3rd person to 1st person unexpectedly though. I liked that you answered all her questions that went unanswered because I was really curious.
Plot & Theme (34/35)
This was just great! It was original but so sad! I felt like some bits were predictable but it was original.
Entertainment Factors (9/10)
It took ages for me to finish it! Which I apologise for but I liked the concept. I don’t usually enjoy them but I liked it.
