In the following days, you continued to help the boys train – the only thing she could help with. She taught them how one ability could compliment another and how to work together to be the best they could be.

You wanted them to show all of their potential.

However, as they days went up, you slowly began to feel uneasy. There was something wrong in the atmosphere, but you couldn't quite tell what it was. It was just a feeling that continued to tug upon your heart that you couldn't make go away.

You didn't show that you were bothered upon your expressions, because you didn't want to worry any of the EXO members – they had enough to think about.

They were practicing hard every day, so there was no point in telling them something that would only worry him.

On this particular morning, you began to feel especially bad – not in the sense of health. You could tell something was going to happen soon and it wasn't going to nice.

You stayed in bed that day for the longest time. Luhan checked on you continuously, but no matter what he said to you, you didn't reply him with any non-vague answers.

"Hayeon," Luhan sighed as he took your hand once more, "Talk to me. Please? Your expression looks so dark, it's not like you. Did something happen?"

Shaking your head, you told him, "No."

It wasn't exactly a lie. Nothing did actually happen. You were just getting these bad feelings, bad vibes. You smiled at him as you continue to reassure him that nothing was wrong and to take care of himself.

You emphasized that last part just so you could warn him without actually warning him. It was kind of paradoxical, but the statement held true.

"I know when you're lying," he frowned, "and I know you are right now."

You couldn't help, but laugh to yourself. Was he sure that he knew when you were lying? – Because you didn't consider yourself to be telling lies at that specific moment. Luhan was just too sensitive when it came to your personal matters and feelings.

"Silly," you poked his forehead, "I'm not lying. Really. I promise."

"You better not lie to me," he mumbled.

How childish he was being. You couldn't help but feel amused while he was like this in front of you. It was nice to see the different sides of Luhan as the two of you became better friends – it made you feel close to him.

Pushing him gently, you instructed, "Now go on back to practice! I'm sure Suho and Kris won't be happy to see you skipping again because of a reason like this."

"What do you mean, 'a reason like this'?" Luhan countered, "You're important, alright? Really important – well, to me at least."

Rolling your eyes, you softly laughed, "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Now go."

Very hesitantly, Luhan began to make his way out of your room. You waved goodbye to him as he did so and then leaned back onto your bed frame.

Sometimes, you still wondered why Luhan was always by your side, always there for you. It's not like you hadn't considered the possibility that Luhan may possibly have feelings for you, but when you thought back to the time when you had first met and they way he acted, you thought it was impossible.

Not only did you think that, you thought of what you would say if he ever confesses. Considering the whole situation, you just felt like you wouldn't be able to reply to him. You'd just be shocked, surprised, and freeze. Would you even be able to reply him?

Sighing, you just believed that you were still unsure how you felt about him. Of course, you knew you cared for him a lot, but you didn't know to what extent.

As you continued to think, a loud thud was heard on the wall beside you. Your eyes widened as you jumped instinctively. What the hell was that?

Slowly, you turned your head to the side, only to be faced with an old arrow that had penetrated the wall beside you, a note tied upon it. You didn't know what it would have said or who it would've came from. All you knew was that there was a message there and it might be for you.

Hesitantly, you pulled the arrow from the wall, observing it.

Your fingers ran over the letter as you considered if it was a good idea to even open it. What if it wasn't meant for you? You'd be in big trouble for reading someone else's note – you were sure of it.

However, curiosity ended up taking over.

Slowly, you unfolded the letter while you held your breath at the suspense that was building.

"Jung Hayeon-ssi. We've been monitoring your actions for awhile
and we have seen you heal wounds that should never have been healed.
It goes without saying that we have been intrigued by you.
Tonight, come to the nearby lake by your house and we will discuss
what will happen to you. If you choose not to come, the safety of
those creatures will not be guaranteed."

There was no name for the sender – just a bunch of directions. However, you couldn't help but continue to repeat those words in your mind: The safety of those creatures will not be guaranteed.

Creatures?

They had to be talking about EXO. Those were the only people you ever hung around and if they were watching you and realized that you healed wounds that could not be healed, they must know about your power.

...So this was what that uneasiness was referring to.
