Jonghyun was still half asleep, though he could clearly smell the scent of Soeun's hair. With his eyes still closed, he pressed her arm lightly, trying to know if it was real or he was just imagining. Confirming she was real, he smiled and kissed her hair.

He told himself, that though this may be very wrong and unfair, for now, he wanted to forget all the things that are not within Busan. There's only Yoogeun, Soeun, and Jonghyun on this place. For a few days, he won't think about the reality. There's no point fighting when his heart always wants to give in whenever he sees Soeun.

She moved a bit and started to get conscious. As she opened her eyes, she realized she was still lying at the same chest she found really comfortable last night. Soeun slowly lifted her head up to look at him who was already awake.

“Goodmorning.” He said as soon as their eyes met.

“I'm sorry I fell asleep here.” Soeun said and quickly tried to get up, however, Jonghyun pulled her back to his arms. She stumbled but he immediately caught her. “J-Jonghyun-ah.”

With their faces only few inches apart, Jonghyun tilted his head up meeting her face. He planted a quick but sweet kiss on her lips, surprising Soeun and making her speechless at the same time. “Why?” Jonghyun asked but there was a hint of smile on his face.

She couldn't say a thing and just looked at him, trying to figure out if what happened was just a dream or not. She then started to remember their conversation last night, and how she requested him to be hers for few days. A smiled appear as she realized that today, Jonghyun doesn't belong to anyone else but her. She poked his cheek to which Jonghyun chuckled at.

“This isn't a dream, baby.” Jonghyun said uttering along the term he used to call Soeun before. … baby.

Soeun still didn't say a thing, so Jonghyun tilted his head again to plant another kiss on her lips. Longer this time, making sure he'll taste the sweetness of her lips.

To her surprise, she bit her lower lip and covered , gaining a pout and a frown from Jonghyun who saw her reaction. “Why?”

“I haven't even brushed my teeth.” She uttered cutely. He was happy upon seeing the same Soeun years ago. It felt like Jonghyun really came back from the past the moment he let go of his feelings.

Suddenly, she was the same Jung Soeun... and he was the same Kim Jonghyun.

He plant another kiss for the third time and smiled. “Still sweet.” He whispered as he rested back his head on the pillow.

“Omma...” Just then, Yoogeun came out of the room rubbing his eyes. He just woke up and immediately looked for his mother. As he opened his eyes completely, he saw how his mother was lying next to his father. He frowned. “Omma... you slept beside appa?”

Jonghyun and Soeun immediately sat up straight and sat awkwardly at their son. “Aigoo, our son has woken up?” Jonghyun said to avoid further question from the child. They were not sure if he saw them kissing or not.

“Oh wait, omma's gonna prepare our breakfast.” Soeun stood up and ran to the kitchen. The other two remained and Jonghyun was confused as to why Yoogeun was looking at him as if he committed a crime.

“Appa.” Yoogeun crossed his arms and gazed at him angrily. “Why did you take omma beside me?”

That gave Jonghyun a shock. He figured out the child was jealous. “Eh, Yoogeunnie? It was omma who..”

“I am supposed to sleep beside omma, and if you sleep together, I must be in the middle. Appa! You can't steal omma!” He said as if he was throwing tantrums.

Jonghyun scratched his head, “Come here, Yoogeunnie.”

Despite being mad at his appa for stealing his omma, Yoogeun still went to him and sat on his lap. “Appa, you are not taking omma away from me, right?” He asked.

“Of course not, my dear. How can I do that?”

“What if I wake up one morning without omma because you took her?” The kid asked worriedly.

“No, my dear. I will never take omma, and omma will never want to be seperated with you so... things like that will never happen.” Jonghyun explained and smiled. “Last night when you were asleep, Omma went out and we chatted about you for a while. As we talked, we didn't notice that both of us were getting sleepy so it was just an accident that she fell asleep here. She was supposed to go back to you after our chat but she wasn't able to do that.”

“I see..” Yoogeun nodded and listened very well.

“Appa, can you set the table up so we can eat?!” They heard Soeun from the kitchen asking help from Jonghyun.

“Come, do you want to help me set the table?” He told Yoogeun and the kid quickly nodded. They stood up and folded the mattress and the blanket first before heading to the kitchen.

It was a complete family scene inside a small house. Omma is cooking something that smelled really delicious while appa sets the table together with the young boy. While they were busily preparing for breakfast, Yoogeun told stories about his dream last night.

“I was wearing a ninja suit and I was running while jumping from tree to tree..” He said and Jonghyun didn't forget to show him a fascinated face – as if he was really interested and awe at his son's little amusing story. “Deh! And then when I get to the other side of the forest, a huge bear with red eyes appeared!!!” He told the story with intensity.

“Oh! And then?! And then?!” Like a little kid, Jonghyun pulled a chair and sat opposite Yoogeun, with his attention fully focused towards his cute son.

“I told the big red eyed bear, I won't hurt you if you give me the princess!! , then he said know and I jumped and beat him up!” He said gesturing how he beated the bear in his dreams. Jonghyun was with an O face. He was really enjoying it at that moment. “And then the bear fell asleep. I quickly ran inside the cave to save the princess!”

“Did you see who the princess was, Yoogeunnie?” Soeun asked as shed placed the food on the table.

Just then, another kid came running into the kitchen. “Yoogeun oppa!! Oppa! Let's see the sunrise!” It was Sooki.

“There you go, the princess.” Jonghyun said and smiled at Sooki. “It's still early, little princess, why are you here?”

“Halmeoni is still sleeping at home.” She said cutely eyeing up at Jonghyun.

“How about breakfast?” Jonghyun asked and the little girl shook her head, “Come on, princess, let's eat together.” He lifted up Sooki and made her sit on another chair. Sooki smiled.

“Yoogeun appa..” She said looking at Jonghyun. “Can we see the sunrise together after eating?” She asked and when the two nodded, Sooki started eating deliciously with the three of them.

As soon as they reached the beach, Yoogeun ran hand in hand with Sooki. Soeun saw it and smiled. “It was you taught Yoogeun to never let a girl be on her own, that's why whenever the two of them play, he will always be the one guiding Sooki, like his own little sister.”

Jonghyun nodded. “You raise him well, that's why he's able to quickly follow and remember the things that are being taught to her. Aigoo-” He was surprised when Sooki slipped and fell on her knee. They were about to run, but Yoogeun immediately took care of the situation by helping the little girl up and dusting off her knees. They smiled when Sooki didn't even cry and continued walking as if nothing happened.

“That's my son.” Jonghyun said proudly. “He's going to be one great guy in the future.” Their eyes met and locked together as they stopped walking.

Their eyes were talking about something that only the two of them could understand. Their feelings were something that no words can convey properly, but only their eyes can express whatever they have for each other.

Soeun was the first to look away eyeing at the two kids who were looking up to see the sunrise. Slowly, she felt a familiar warm hand sliding on hers, interlocking their fingers together. She looked at Jonghyun. He was looking away but there was an obvious smile on his face.

“Thank You.” Soeun said which made Jonghyun look at her. “For showing me, even for a bit, how happy I can still be. This will end, but I'll treasure the fact that I was able to be with you.. even for a bit.”
