“Yoogeun-ah.” Minho uttered as he closed the zipper of Yoo's jacket. “Jonghyun appa will pick you later from school. Ask him to eat outside with omma.” He told him and Yoogeun's expression lighted up in excitement. “Is that a good idea, Yoogeun-ah?”

“Deh!!” Yoogeun shouted actively which made Minho chuckle a bit. “We're going to eat ouside tonight! Yes!”

“Aigoo~ You are really happy just by the thought of it.” Minho smiled and patted Yoo's . “Come on, get inside. Teacher is waiting for you.” Yoogeun them immediately started running towards his classroom. Minho stood up and waited as he surely got inside the classroom. “Good thing you're happy... while I'm starting to feel sorry for myself.” He smiled bitterly, and turned walking back to his car to go to his practice.

As he sat back to his car, he quickly dialled Soeun's number. “Deh, Soeun-ah... Yoogeun got into his class already. I can't pick him up. Yes. Okay. See you.” He said and ended the call. Soeun said she'll be the one picking her son from school later on.

The next person he called was Jonghyun, “Yes, hyung. You can pick up Yoogeun later.” He told him and Jonghyun quickly agreed. They chatted for a short while before Minho said bye. He breathed heavily as he shook his head. He couldn't believe he was doing such thing because of Soeun. He remembered Jinki's words few nights ago and he sighed. “This might be the iest thing to do, but I want to do this – for her.”

“Appa!!” Yoogeun ran straightly outside as soon as he saw Jonghyun waiting for him outside the school. “Appa!” He gave him a big hug and a kiss on his cheek.

“Aigoo~” Jonghyun laughed when he felt that warm hug from Yoogeun. He misses him everyday, and he always has this needs to see him everyday. “You missed appa, too, right?”

“Deh, appa! I missed you!”

“Should we eat together?” He suggested to which Yoogeun immediately agreed upon.

“Let's call umma and eat with her, appa!” He added excitedly but that made Jonghyun stopped and thought for a while. Not that he didn't want to eat with her. It was just... he knew it would be awkward for the two of them.

They never talked about it, and nothing awkward really happened to them. It's just that, after that day when the three of them slept together, the two of them started to feel discomfort around each other. It was a feeling that they have mutually acquired without even talking about it.

“I don't think we can be with omma right now. She's on her work and-”

“Omma!!!” Yoogeun suddenly shouted when Soeun appeared walking towards them. “Omma! Omma you're here!” Jonghyun immediately stood up and looked at her direction.

Both of them were frozen at the moment. If Yoogeun didn't see Soeun then she might have just walked away and didn't show herself, but it was too late, because Yoogeun ran to her while pulling his father with him.

“Omma! Appa and I were about to go to your office! It's good that you're here! Let's eat together! I want pizza!”

“Pizza?” Jonghyun frowned and looked at his son. “You want pizza?” Yoogeun just happily nodded. Jong then looked at Soeun and only noticed that she didn't bring a car with her. “Where's your car?”

“Oh. I took it into a mechanic for a general check up.” She tried smiling. “And .. for a carwash as well.” She said to which Jonghyun only nodded and didn't say anything at all.

“Pizzaa~” Again, they heard Yoogeun whining for pizza. Jonghyun gave in and just agreed on what he wanted.

“Fine, Yoogeun... Your appa will give you pizza.” Yoogeun jumped in joy and started enumerating the pizza types that he wanted to try. “All meat, Double Cheese, Pepperoni, Hawaiian ~” He was very happy, but his parents were really not comfortable about going together.

Yoogeun pulled his omma over the seat beside Jonghyun's on the driver seat. He then climbed sitting on his omma's lap. Jonghyun and Soeun tried not to show their awkwardness towards the child. Fortunately, the child was too happy and innocent to even care about wha'ts happening around him.

He also had a lot to say during the travel that it lifted a burden for the both of them to think of something that they could talk about while they were inside the car together.

“We arrived!” Jonghyun announced as soon as they arrived on the Pizza house. Yoogeun was excited that as soon as his appa parked the car properly, he immediately opened the door and ran.

“Yoogeun-ah!” Soeun said again but she had trouble removing her seatbelt. “Aigoo~”

It was Jonghyun who quickly got off and blocked his son playfully. “Caught you.” He lifted Yoogeun up to his arms and laughed. “You always run! Aigoo~ Don't make omma worry a lot, Yoogeunie~” He reminded and the boy apologized. “Yoogeun-ah...”

“De, appa?”

“You are a man.” He said and poked at his chest. “A man should always take care of the girls around him. Omma is a girl.” Yoogeun nodded and looked into his appa attentively. “That means Yoogeun has to take care of his omma. Don't ever leave omma's side because she might need you at times.”

“Ahhhhh~~” Yoogeun nodded as if he clearly understood what he appa said. “Omma might get in trouble if Yoogeun is not on her side?”

“Exactly.” Jonghyun smiled. “When walking, always hold omma's hand. That way, you can protect her from any danger and enemies. Omma is a very beautiful girl. Do you want other guys to steal omma away from you?” Yoogeun shook his head eagerly. “Right. So you should never let go of Omma's hand.” Like what Jonghyun said, Yoogeun immediately asked to be put down and when he did, the boy ran to his mother and immediately held his mother's hand. Soeun was surprised and confused because she didn't get to hear the two's conversation.

“Right. Omma is only for Yoogeun and Appa.” He said strongly and held into her hand even tighter. It left the two of them speechless and unable to react again.

Thank Yoogeun for not losing energy, the pizza date was okay since he really talked a lot while eating. It seemed like Yoogeun was never lost for word. Whatever he sees and whatever comes to his mind, he will always talk about it.

“Appa!” He called out when he suddenly remembered something. “The teacher asked if I could sing on our family day! I said yes!” He said confidently.

“Aigoo~ Yoogeunnie will sing??! That is great! Can appa watch you?”

“Deh! And also omma!” He looked at his mother as well, “Because it was family day so Omma and Appa are expected to be there!” Again, his announcement made the two of them uncomfortable. It was weird, because they never expected to be as uncomfortable as this again.

They rested for a while as they walked slowly outside when they finished eating pizza. Yoogeun kept his promise of not letting go on his omma's hand. He kept on holding her hand, and it gave Soeun a reassurring feel that her son was always safe. Few minutes later and Jonghyun noticed Yoogeun yawning.

“Aigoo, come on let's go back.” Jonghyun lifted his son to his arms again. “Sleep now on appa, Yoogeunie.”

“Omma's hand...” He whispered while not forgetting about his omma. “Appa... Omma's hand.” He kept on saying. “Hold omma...” Jonghyun didn't do it, and acted as if they didn't hear anything. “Appa~ Omma's hand... hold it.”

And as much as Jonghyun didn't want to do it, he just slid his fingers on hers and clasped their hands together. She was surprised at first but Jonghyun tried acting cool again. “Yoogeun said to take care of you.” He said when he noticed her looking with suspicious eyes. “Soeun-ah... Can I change Yoogeun's name into Kim?”

That question really surprised her a lot.

“I'll find a way.. just please let Yoogeun have my surname.” He begged.
