Chapter 10 – Another problem? Guess so.

“What do you mean?” I asked him.

“I’ve told you I’ll only say it once..”

“No.. I know.. But what do you mean.. You’re not.. my family’s murderer?”

“Yea, I’m not.. I didn’t kill your family.. I was there because I was told that someone were after your family..”

“But, why.. You should told me from the beginning..” I said, looking right into his eyes. He didn’t kill my family, and yet he just stayed silent and let me think that he’s the killer or something.

“Everything has time.. There’s something you should know from the beginning, and things that needs time for you to know..” He told me, but still. I should know something.

“But why? Why did you let me think that you’re the killer, that you ruined my whole life!?” I raised my voice.

“How old are you when your families got killed?” He asked me, but I didn’t answer him. I don’t even want to remember. “You’re only six! And you know what a six years old boy could do after he became the witness of his family’s assassination?” He asked me. No, he told me. He tried to told me. But my mind are all messed up.

“If I told you everything, and I mean everything, from a to z.. You could do anything.. Reckless..” He said. Keep staying silent. That’s all I could do.

“But still.. Ugh.. I don’t know.. Who’s the real murderer..?” I asked.

“I’ve been investigating it since then.. But to no avail.. The last person remained, the person that killed your brother, committed suicide right after I arrived.”

“Oh.. Okay..” I said, and walked out from the room.

“Hyunjoong-ah.. Catch..” He threw me 2 cards, seems like credit cards.

“What..?”

“Your deposits card, and your credit card.. I believe you’ve read that letter over there.. You’re almost eighteen..” He said.

“Huh?”

“50% of the company’s income would be yours.. I believe you’ll need a new car.. And.. The income for the past 12 years are there, you could think how much it is..” He said again and went back to his desk.

“Oh, and.. Promise me..” He said.

“Promise? What promise?”

“Tell me you promise..” He said again. I just nodded with an absent minded. “Don’t do anything reckless.. I’ve told you those things for your good, not for you to chase them..”

“Don’t worry..” I gave him a fake smile and took my leave.

“Klaude!!” I yelled on halfway to my room.

“Huh?” He popped out from nowhere.

“Would you do me a favor?”

-The next day-

It was almost seven when Kyujong almost gave me a heart attack. He jumped out all of a sudden after he heard Youngsaeng’s lamborghini’s horn honked.

“Yah! Could you just.. calm down? You almost freaked my heart out!” I said to him. He was all excited from yesterday.

“I’ll go with Youngsaeng.. You drive your own car..” I said and went downstairs.

“Talking about car.. Where’s your car hyung?” he asked.

“Gone.” I said and went to the black Lamborghini.

“Huh?” He said after he went in his car and started the engine.

“Where’s Hyungjunnie? And Jungmin?” I asked him.

“Jungmin will be there with Lea, Hyungjunnie will be there with Alicia..”

“Xin?”

“She has part time work..” He sighed. And went on the road. We were going at 130 kmph when Youngsaeng said something.

“Something did happen yesterday right? Right after you went home..”

“Huh?”

“Just tell me.. I know you hid something.. Looking at how you acted at school this morning.. You looked.. tense.. Where’s your car anyway? I didn’t see it at your garage..”

“Gone. And I mean gone..” I said to him.

“How?” He asked.

“Blew up?”

“Blew up? How?”

“Someone tried to kill me.. Maybe..”

“Really? For how many times already?” He asked, referring for how many times already that I almost got killed.

“I don’t know..” I sighed and he stopped the car.

“Well, don’t think about it for now.. We should be having fun aren’t we?” He gave me a smile and went out from the car. We arrived in front of a café, seems like Joelle had booked the whole café for the birthday party.

“Yah Kyujong! Hurry up!!” He shouted at Kyujong who just arrived right behind his car.

“Arasso..” We went in. It felt like we went into a club. There’s even a DJ inside.

“Hyung! I’ll go find Joelle okay!!” Kyujong said loudly because the music is extremely loud.

“Arasso!! Let’s go find Jungmin and Hyungjun..” We went around for sometime until someone tapped my shoulder.

“Hyunjoong oppa?” A girl said to me.

“Kim?” I asked. She looked gorgeous with her black uh.. dress. I don’t know what type of dress it is. But she does look gorgeous.

“Yes! How have you been??” She asked again, and I just gave her my thumb.

“Did you see Jungmin??” I asked her.

“There!! With his.. girlfriend..” She slowed down at the word “girlfriend”. She likes Jungmin like Jungmin does? Maybe..

“Arasso, thanks!! Wanna go there too??” She nodded and we went to the corner where Jungmin and Lea were chatting.

“Hyung, you’re here..” he said, he looked at me, Youngsaeng and then he looked at Kim. He couldn’t take his eyes off her.

“Yah! Wanna go to the dance floor??” I asked him, trying to distract him from Kim. Because Lea was looking at them, she doesn’t got any suspicious nor jealous look.

“Arasso..” He said, and taking Lea with him to the dance floor. I just realized something. If Kim looks gorgeous, Lea look beautiful. Not much difference. But they’re.. great.. We went to the dance floor, there were so many crowd around the dance floor, focusing at the people who danced. We tiptoed to look who is it. It was the birthday girl with my foster brother. Joelle and Kyujong were dancing. They were both dancing so y? Hot? I don’t know.. And the other couple is our little playboy with the girl he chased, Alicia. They were dancing as hot as.. uhm.. as y as Kyujong and Joelle? Youngsaeng just shook his head looking at our dongsaeng. They’re the fastest when it comes to girls.

*riing riing* “Hyunjoong-ah!”

“De, what’s up Klaude?” Klaude, he’s my butler and one of my best friend.

“I’ve ordered your car already.. God, where are you?? Could you go to a quiet place for a couple minutes??” I went out from the café.

“Sorry, what is it?”

“I’ve found something..”

“What? Already? You’re fast..”

“Yea, but don’t be a little too shock when you hear this..”

“It’s okay, go on..”

“Lee family.. It’s the family that set up the assassination of your family..”

“Lee? As in Lee the owner of the company?” I asked, is it all about money?

“Yea, and you know what.. They had a daughter.. And she’s at the same school as you..”

“What? Uh.. What’s her name.. El something right?” I asked.

“Eleanore Lee.. She’s called Lea.. and she’s in her second year..”
