~Yuna’s P.O.V. ~

 

                They say, when you’re at your happiest moment, time zooms out of your hand. But when you’re in your lowest, it crawls behind you like forever. I’m in that state now while I’m being pulled by this stranger.

 

                I looked back at the rink which is now full of screaming fan girls before sulking in my own pitiful state.  I bowed my head low as we made our way out of the crowded place into the empty parking lot where Ki-bum and I started our supposed to be bright date today. I can’t understand why, but the walk towards the unknown place where we’re going seems to take on forever. My shoulders dropped on their own as I exhaled my frustration away. Then, the sobs came.

 

                The person who pulled me had his face covered fully with sun glasses and a face mask. I caught a glimpse of his weird clothing when he pushed me into the car. I sat helplessly on the passenger’s seat as the person walked around the car to get to his seat. I glanced at the window and saw the car which Ki-bum rented for today. I wonder if he could still use that to go home now that the fans are tailing him. I held my face in my palms as the tears came rushing in together with the memories we’ve made earlier. I should’ve enjoyed every moment of it instead of complaining and messing around.

 

                The car door shut beside me loudly as the person closed it heavily. I don’t want to look up to see what happened or who the person with me is. It’d be even good if I’d be kid-napped or taken away without any prior notice. At least, I wouldn’t cause any trouble for Ki-bum by then. Might as well kill me now, please.

 

                “Are you alright?” a familiar voice asked. I don’t have to ask for the person to remove his mask anymore. I stopped crying that instant as relief flooded through me. I lifted my head and met the eyes I haven’t seen for the past four days.

 

                “Are you hurt?” he asked again. I shook my head before crying loudly at him.

 

                I started on pounding on his chest, bawling words that were all messed up, even I couldn’t understand what’s coming out of my mouth. It all came out as a muffle or a noise. Nothing’s coherent on what I am saying and I started wishing he could read my mind.

 

                Why did you just pull me out of there? Why didn’t you tell me you’ll be back? Why are you here again to save me? Why are you always like this? Don’t you know I feel so alone for the past few days without having someone who’ll make me laugh? Don’t you know how hard it is to have almost everything against me without having anyone to support me? I’m so lost and lonely and hurt and I don’t have anything to shift my attention to! Why did you come so late?

 

                As if hearing everything my mind is screaming, he murmured softly in my ears “It’ll be fine.”

 

                I don’t know how long I cried on his shoulder or how long he restrained fighting back from my hits. He just stayed there, tapping me gently on my shoulder, letting me cry my eyes out and making his shirt completely wet from my tears. He just pulled off when his phone rang and he was forced to answer whoever it is on the other line. I don’t have the strength to understand anything that he’s saying on the phone. Instead, I used that time to calm myself down.

 

                A huge soft bear stuffed toy made its way to my face. I coughed out air as I pushed the toy off. Unfortunately, a force is restraining me to do so.

 

                “Yah!” I shouted as I tried to gasp for air again. I threw daggers at him through my eyes as the toy found its way to my lap.

 

                “Whoa, the wild bear is back!” he replied, laughing out loudly. “Where’s the crying bear now?”

 

                “You mean Puffy dragon!” I screamed back. When he laughed again at my words, I found myself laughing with him.

 

                He reached out for the toy and bobbed its head up and down to make it look like it’s speaking on it’s own before dubbing its action with his own high pitched voice.

 

                “Hi there wild bear!” he started while hiding behind the toy. “I’ll be your pet friend bear. What’s your name, wild bear?”

 

                I giggled. “I’m Yuna. You?”

 

                “I’m...” Kyu-hyun stopped for a while before snickering to himself. “My name is Kyu-na.”

 

                I reached out for the bear’s soft hands and squeezed it gently. “Nice meeting you, Kyu-na.”

 

                Kyu-hyun put the toy back on to my lap before grinning at me. I grinned back at him, although I’m not sure why I did. It just seems appropriate and comfortable to do so, so I did.

 

                “Let’s go back to the dorms.” He said after our grinning session. I nodded. We started to make our way out from the lot. Like the scene earlier, there’re still less people on this side of the lot and that made it comfortable for us.

 

                “Do you think Ki-bum oppa is home by now?” I asked when we hit the high way.

 

                “I think so. Our managers wouldn’t let him be surrounded by fans that long. They said we need to leave the fans asking for more.” He hummed in a tune only he knew.

 

                “I could understand them wanting to be with Ki-bum and the other members for a long period of time, but why would they want to be with you?” I teased.

 

                “Yah, don’t you know? I am the most popular member of our team!” he said proudly. I laughed.

 

                “Most? Really?”

 

                “Okay, second.” He changed, tilting his head to the side uncomfortably.

 

                “Second?” I tried to tease again, tilting my head to the same direction as his.

 

                “Fine! Fine! I’m the third!” he admitted as we reached a stop light, raising his right hand on the air, swearing. “And that’s the last, wild bear!” he warned.

 

                “Wild bear, aish!” I stared at him madly. “I still don’t believe it. No matter how much I think about it, you’re still way below the top 10 best members of the group.”

 

                “You...” he started but the traffic light turned green and he had to focus on driving again.

 

                “But, Kyu-hyun, where’s my souvenirs from China?” I batted my lashes as I lend out my palm.

 

                “I forgot to buy you one.” He truthfully said. I smacked my hands on the dashboard.

 

                “You forgot?” I screeched.

 

                “Oh, no. the wild bear’s mad!” he excitedly stated.

 

                “KYU-HYUN!”

 

 

 

                We arrived at the dorm safely, at least. Well, Kyu-hyun had his clothes wet with my tears and scrunched up from my beating. (Okay, I didn’t actually beat him up. I just shook him here and there for a while.) I hurriedly went inside to look for Ki-bum.

 

                An exhausted Ki-bum is on the sofa on the receiving room, waiting for me. When I called his name, he quickly got up to hug me. I welcomed the embrace.

 

                “Are you fine? How did you get home? I was worried sick, do you know that?” he babbled as I made myself comfortable in his arms.

 

                “I’m fine.” I replied. “Are you alright? The guy who bumped you... I saw it. I’m sorry I can’t do...” he cut me off by caressing my hair.

 

                “I’m relieved that you went ahead of me or else who could’ve known what might’ve happened. I’m alright. No one got hurt too.” he explained, still patting my hair.

 

                “Welcome back, Cho Kyu-hyun!” Kyu-hyun shouted behind us. I let go of the hug with Ki-bum as I faced the entering Kyu-hyun.

 

                “You’re back?” Ki-bum asked curiously. “Aren’t you supposed to be at China until the fourteenth?”

 

                “I ran away.” Kyu-hyun sang with his beautiful but irritating voice again.

 

                I shook my head in disapproval before facing Ki-bum again. “I’ll just change my clothes.” I told him.

 

                “And take a rest, too. I know it’s been exhausting.” He added. I smiled as I turned to the stairs.

 

                “Yah!” Kyu-hyun called and when I faced him, the bear, Kyu-na, flew into my arms. “Take care of her, arasso?”

 

                I pouted at him before leaving. He’s really the greatest comfort and pain in the I’ve ever need!

 

~ Kyu-hyun’s P.O.V. ~

 

                She gave me her cute mad pout before going up of the stairs into my room to rest. I giggled as she stumbled on the mid-step of the flight. She’s such a kid.

 

                “You ran away?” Ki-bum, who’s in front of me but totally seemed invisible, asked me when Yuna finally disappeared on the stairwell.

 

                “Yes. But I have to be back there now or else manager hyung would beat me up again.” I explained boringly. I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a glass of warm water.

 

                “Why did you do that if you knew that you’ll get into trouble?” he asked again, following me into the kitchen. I guess the other members have their schedules today so no one’s practically home.

 

                “Because she needs me.” I finally faced him and looked him straight in the eyes. Better now than never.

 

                “Yuna?” he almost laughed at my sudden words.

 

                “Yuna.” I nodded firmly, my eyes never leaving his. “I knew you’ll get into trouble and she’ll need me by her side. So I came back.”

 

                He shook his head hardly before laughing. “You knew?”

 

                I shrugged my shoulders as he continued to laugh.

 

                “Tell me, Kyu-hyun...” Oh, you bet I will. “Do you like Yuna?”

 

                I smiled at him widely. I felt my eyes dilate with excitement as it focused into Ki-bum’s. My blood rushed through my veins as I felt a rush inside me. It’s like my whole system is waiting for this moment to happen, and now that it is happening, it es, sending tingling sensations all over my body.

 

                “Yes.” I answered and if someone is around the house except the three of us, they’d probably feel the extreme tension between us. Now, there’s no looking back.
