Bad day, bwisit.

     I’m not even halfway through the week yet but the moment I woke up kanina, I was so sure na I was going to have a bad day.

     Una’t sa lahat, I stub my toe bago pa man ako makalabas ng kwarto ko so yeah, excruciating pain.

     Number two, pagbaba ko to eat breakfast, wala nang pagkain!

     Nakakainis! Akala mo sa bording house nakatira eh, akala mo hindi anak, parang hindi bunso.

     I cooked an egg saka nagbukas ako ng san marino yung maanghang para magising ako, patago din akong nagdadabog kapag pwede kaya hindi rin ako kinausap nina Mommy hanggang sa umakyat ako.

     I took a quick shower, me and Gal talked while I was on my way and things went actually fine sa school pero nung pauwi naman, after a long day inside classrooms and hallways, answering a quiz, being in a nerve wrecking situation na baka matawag ako for recit, the final bad thing came running up to me.

     Naglalakad kami ni Gi papuntang sakayan and I decided to check Shopee for one specific page just to see if available pa yung gusto kong bilhin, matagal ko na talaga siyang binabalak pero palagi kasing ‘on vacation’ yung seller kaya hindi ko siya macheck-out palagi.

     I’ve been meaning to buy an IZ*ONE poster kasi, just for memories saka duh, ang gaganda kaya nila ang sarap isabit sa wall and I saw this one seller who’s selling authentic signed posters na kahit na hindi lahat ng members may pirma.

     Okay na siya for its price, I saw one kasi dati 5k ata yun pero OT12 yung nakapirma.

     Ito may binebenta siya dalawang poster, isang signed by 3 members, isang signed by 4 members. Sabi ni seller it was an Mnet thing kaya I trust her naman.

     May stan acc din siya tapos she has actually talked to some members thru vid call, edi sana all!

     It didn’t matter that much sa akin kung sino yung mga members na pumirma kasi ayaw niya din idisclose yung info hangga’t hindi sigurado yung bibili pero ito, since it’s nearing Christmas, I’m planning to actually buy one from her.

     Ang kaso nga lang, pagdating na pagdating ko sa shop niya, wala na.

     Mas lalong nasira yung araw ko nung nakita ko yung post niya.

‘Sold out na po yung signed IZONE posters! Thank you sa mga naghintay!’

     Ang bobo nga eh walang asterisk dun sa IZ*ONE niya, my God the impudence.

     Right now, I’m listening to Giselle’s story about a dude na multiple times nilang nakita ni Ning dun sa isang grocery store near her building last weekend, the weekend where me and Gal were at Angono.

     The two met daw kasi just to hang out and it ended up being an errand day for Gi where she dragged Ning to everywhere and anywhere and ngayon palang ako nakakasunod sa mga kwento nila about it.

     Ning stayed there overnight na daw and they bonded with Gi’s friend, Tequila.

     ‘Hindi naman kami nagwalwal, don’t worry, we’re responsible kaya’ yan ang sabi niya.

     Then they also talked about something new!

     Ning kissed a guy!

     Alam niyo tong si Ning, ever since talaga na lumandi ako, lumandi na din siya, si Gi kaya, baka lumalandi na din to.

     Buti nalang no strings attached daw at lasing siya nung halikan niya yung lalaki. It wasn’t a French kiss or something, more like a few (two, said by her) light kisses then Ning pushed herself off of him.

     Funny, it happened nung sem ender nila. I can’t even think of when it happened kasi I was so sure na she was with us all throughout the party.

     Ayun, she doesn’t remember him daw tapos nakokonsensya siya at pinamigay niya lang yung first kiss niya ng ganun ganun kaya madabog dabog pa rin siya these days when she remembers it. Giselle even offered her nga daw kung gusto ba ni Ning na kunin first kiss niya para mabawi niya ganun (not exactly sure if it works like that) and ang mga shunga,

     Hinalikan daw siya ni Ning nung gabing nag-inom silang dalawa!

     Jusko mga fruit salad!

     They defended themselves that it was nothing but a peck at tawang tawa daw silang dalawa sa isa’t isa right after it happened, um-oo nalang ako at mukhang masaya naman sila. At least Ning got Gi’s first kiss diba.

     If ever, I don’t mind if they’ll end up together, malay niyo, yun na pala yun.

     And ito nga, Ning fell asleep so we kicked her out of our call and Gi’s finishing up her story about this random dude that they kept on stumbling upon while they were out buying her groceries last Sunday.

     ‘Kaya ayun, para kaming shunga pareho na lilinga linga habang nakatayo dun sa aisle ng mga kape- hoi!’

     I blinked a couple of times before looking at Gi with brows furrowed. ‘Kaasar ka, nakikinig ka pa ba?’ tinanguan ko lang siya.

     ‘Lumalaki butas ng ilong mo, don’t me’ is it really that noticeable when my nostrils flare? ‘You’re quiet, that’s already a sign Catherine’ pagpapatuloy ni Gi.

     She was eyeing me carefully kaya I had to answer or tell her anything at baka bigla pang mapapunta to dito sa amin ng wala sa oras. Giselle takes our bad mood moments very seriously at minsan we benefit from it kapag bigla siyang nagpapadala ng Mcdo or something so we could eat. She loves us that way.

     I pursed my lips at her, forming a thin line as I look down to my lap. ‘Antagal kasi ni Rid’

     ‘Diba last class niya ends at 2:30? Wala pang 3 sis, chill’

     ‘3:05 na kaya’ pag-point out ko.

     ‘Edi 3 na, nasa byahe na yun wag kang ano dyan’ I saw her jumping to her bed. Hindi ako makahiga at wala naman ako sa room ko, I’m here sa rooftop kasi mahangin tapos it’s not that hot right now.

     ‘Oh siya sige na, chill your down. Inaantok na din ako, I’ll meet Ning in my dreams.’ she yawned before moving her phone closer to her face, a dorky smile on her lips as she looks at me intently. ‘Chat me if anything happens’

     I simply nodded at her before we started waving our hands at each other. ‘Bye Gi’ ‘Bye beb!’ with a smile, I turned the call off and thought na baka inaantok nga din ako, tulog yung dalawa eh, that must mean something.

     But still, I’m waiting for Gal, her last chat told me naglalakad na daw siya palabas ng campus, maybe I should’ve fetched her, made this day a little better.

     November 23 ngayon, fiesta na dun sa Angono.

     Nung monthsary nga pala namin, we didn’t meet that day kasi may minadaling PE performance task si Gal. She asked me if I expected anything from her and honestly, wala naman, we’re still new and having grand celebrations every month seems a little bit overwhelming for me.

     I did watch her thru a video call while she was doing it and God, laugh trip malala.

     I shouldn’t be laughing at her that much pero kasi, she was so cute and dorky while doing it at puro ‘ouch’ and grunts pa siya while at it kasi malay ko ba dun, buti nga kinaya niya at natapos niya yun before the night ends.

     That was enough for me to consider that day fun, parang pinaalala niya lang sa akin na siya yung minahal ko tapos gaganun ganun lang siya eh, tuwang tuwa na ako.

     Kaya eto, bawi namin for that day, magkikita kami ngayon at may ibibigay daw siya sa akin. Ako din meron no, simple nga lang along with the card I bought dun sa Pandayan, kagabi ko lang nasulatan eh hehe.

      Grabe, our relationship just turned a month old pero parang andami nang nangyari sa amin.

     Pero kasi if you think about it, I’ve been onto it like a month before and I just took my time making sure na I really wanted this.

     Na-meet na nga nina Ate Elise, ni Adam, ni Tito Jan saka ni Kuya Bong si Winter eh. That’s what, two of my cousins, one of my uncles tapos yung service ko dati nung bata ako, pati sina Mommy at Daddy alam na din kung ano si Winter sa buhay ko and they accept us for what we have, nakaka-overwhelm isipin pero it just happened like that.

     Her saying ‘at our own pace’ really hits me hard if I think about it kasi ang bilis namin para sa tingin ng iba
