Taekwoon was scared to touch Sanghyuk. He just…..didn’t want the break his human boyfriend. You had to understand, he was a demon! More specifically, he was from a more…..destructive species of demon. He’d spent years breaking things and people, year causing them pain and suffering. He’d fallen for a couple humans before meeting Sanghyuk and he’d hurt each one so badly how could he not fear for Sanghyuk. He loved Sanghyuk so much, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he hurt him.

Hakyeon, his fae friend, had given him a hard look when he confessed this fear to him. After a long moment, the other had asked why he’d even bothered to start a relationship with Sanghyuk if his fear was so bad. Taekwoon knew the other was right, that he was being horribly selfish about this. If he really loved Sanghyuk, he’d let him go. If he wasn’t so selfish, he’d let Sanghyuk fall for someone else. Someone who couldn’t hurt him like Taekwoon was destined to.

But Taekwoon was a demon and demons were selfish creatures.
