With the twelve fans still sitting on the stage, 5 Pieces take seats on chairs between them, parted out with fans between each other and Carolina gets her guitar – sitting in the middle – and she gets a stand in front of her for the microphone. 5 Pieces are sitting in their usual order: Maria on their very right, Emelia sitting on her left, in the middle is Carolina, then Julia and finally Hannah, the only difference now is that the twelve fans are also sitting in the line.

“This next song we are going to perform is from our recent album,” Hannah says while glancing at Carolina fixing with the guitar. “It will be an acoustic version of [Take the Key]. Please enjoy.”

Carolina starts to play prettily on the guitar and Maria is the one who starts to sing in the song, the Korean version that Carolina wrote.

Hannah has been sitting and moving her body lightly to the guitar sound to the song, listening to her members sing and she sang along with them in the chorus. She has looked at the audience, seeing everyone enjoying the calm song and even the fans sitting next to the ladies are calm. They are looking at the girls singing or just sitting and listening, looking probably the calmest so far during their time on the stage. The reason the fans are sitting on the stage with them is because these twelve personally requested for a singing event, and to make it special for these twelve, the ladies and PD decided to let them sit on the stage with them and get the feeling 5 Pieces get. Hannah is ready when her turn comes.

They have background music to it, and it is really beautiful.

For the second part of 5 Pieces singing *so don’t you worry about…* Hannah sings a little higher than the others, first starting off slightly higher to then go a step even higher for the second line and for the third part even higher. She doesn’t use her full voice but uses a soft voice because it is a very calm song, but her voice still is heard.

Maria ends the song singing her last words with a smileBecause it is a singing event, the girls have given a lot of attention to their voices; therefore the soft acapella, acoustic and cover. The fans don’t seem disappointed when 5 Pieces asks them about it after the song, and then the girls starts off giving an unexpected performance of last year’s [Hey! Hey! Hey!], a cheerful dance pop song that the girls really have fun performing today because they go out between the seats of the fans in the hall, the fans are not sitting down for a minute in the song and it is really a lot of fun performing that song. But after that song, the ladies have to inform that this beautiful event is coming to an end. Sadly, the girls are standing next to each other on the stage and Hannah is pouting. They have had fun; it has felt like a very warm and close time with their fans.

“Do you all know what day it is tomorrow?” Carolina asks the audience when the group has said their goodbyes.

“CHRISTMAS!” the audience screams for answer.

“Oh, and I thought it was my birthday,” Carolina randomly jokes, and no one really laughs at it but the fans. Hannah even shakes her head because she didn’t find it funny, making some fans close to the stage laugh. “Because it is Christmas tomorrow, we have prepared a special song for you all. Please listen and have fun with us for this last song – [All I Want For Christmas]!”

It is the last song for the event, the song that 5 Pieces first sang for SM Town’s Christmas Gift album last year. The girls sings it brightly and refreshing for their fans now, and they have prepared to perform the same song tomorrow at another recording too.

The pre-recording of [Daze] on Inkigayo is done, and Hannah is the only member left behind. The others head on different variety programs recording, to be the bright Pieces that have asked to appear on different programs for the Christmas week. Hannah is performing a Christmas special with her Midnight Dream cast today, though Mat is busy so he won’t perform with them. Honggi, Hyunsuk and Hyejong are all three arriving after a while, doing a simple rehearsal of the song on the stage before getting backstage to get ready for the actual live performance.

“So what do you want to do after this?” Hyejong asks when putting on the last detail on her Christmas outfit; a hairpin.

“Let’s go eat,” Honggi suggests.

“I’m in on that,” Hyunsuk answers and Hannah nods in agreement.

Hanging around backstage with the other three is different from how they usually hang out, but it is as always fun. They talk about their plans on Christmas, laughs over how shy Hyunsuk had gotten when coming to Inkigayo because he thought Maria would be there (she had already left) and they also gives a call to Mat to make fun of that he isn’t with them.

By that time Inkigayo has already begun, and the friends’ gets ready to do an interview with the Inkigayo MCs. Hannah is wearing a cosy red checked button shirt to a pair of leggings and a red reindeer headband, and under the shirt she has those fake tattoos from their [Daze] recording. It isn’t visible now. When standing on the stage she is standing with Honggi on her left, next to him stands Hyejong and Hyunsuk and beyond them stands the MCs. It is Honggi and Hyejong that talks the most, informing about the Midnight Dream collaboration on SBS Gayo Daejun in a week, then about preparing the performance together; how it is to meet each other after the drama ended such a long time ago and MC Kwanghee is curious about Hyunsuk and Hannah, since Hyunsuk is currently on WGM with Maria. Hyunsuk glances at Hannah who peeks out behind Honggi, and Hannah says that Hyunsuk is always worried to meet Maria whenever he is going to meet Hannah for practice or like today on Inkigayo.

“But the reason you are here today is because you are giving a special performance on Inkigayo today,” IU brings up at the end.

“Yes,” Hyejong says to the camera. “The four of us have prepared a performance to wish everyone a merry Christmas. It is Midnight D’s Christmas greeting to everyone.”

Twenty minutes later, Midnight D is standing next to each other on the stage to perform the song in the order; Hyunsuk, Hyejong, Hannah and Honggi. The song they perform is [Santa Claus Is Coming To Town], in a rock version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeZEn7Tq0GU) and Hannah is singing and doing expressions that they have been practicing backstage. Because she was the vocalist in the drama, she is supposed to sing louder than the others in the chorus, which she also does along with Honggi.

“GOOD MORNING! MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Emelia shouts when running inside Julia’s bedroom, followed by a jumping Michin and a newly woken Carolina. Emelia picks Michin up on Julia’s bed for him to wake her up and then lies on top of the sleeping girl, she and Carolina singing a Christmas carol in false and newly woken voices.

“It’s Christmas!” Hannah shouts outside the room, stopping by the door to laugh when hearing Julia cry out that she is awake and tell them to get off her bed. Hannah is happy she is already awake, otherwise that could’ve been her.

Its morning and 5 Pieces is waking each other up to get time to celebrate it before their schedule for the day begins. Hannah has already woken Maria up once and now when heading away from Julia’s room she goes to see if she has left bed yet. Hannah peeks inside the room, and she gives a pout at Maria who is still lying down in bed, so Hannah walks up to her to shake her and say its Christmas and that she should go up. Maria just groans, mumbling something Hannah doesn’t know what it says but she guess it means it’s too cosy in bed.

“Then Ace will get to open your presents,” Hannah tells her and starts to head out the room.

Maria’s eyes that had barely been open are suddenly huge, looking after Hannah. “Presents?” she asks herself before realising; “IT’S ING CHRISTMAS!”

Hannah laughs when Maria falls out of bed in the rush to get up, and though they all seem excited to open the presents that their families had sent along with Hannah and also other presents they have gotten from fans; it takes more than twenty minutes before they are sitting in the living-room and even at that time they aren’t ready to open the presents that are surrounding the room. Michin and Ryo are crazy over the presents, curious of what all the papers are for and kitten Ace is already playing with one small present that he got from a fan too. The girls are sitting in their pyjamas; Julia is sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea, and Emelia has also prepared some tea that she though has forgotten in the kitchen as she is now too busy to try see what presents are hers.

“This is one serious messy room. Why haven’t anyone sorted them?” Emelia wonders while leaning over some presents as she saw her name written on one of them further away.

Hannah giggles and moves Ryo away from her left side to her right so he won’t be in the way. “Are we going to sort them first or just toss them around while opening?” she wonders and laughs when Julia throws a tiny wrapped present towards her. Julia is the only member sitting on the sofa, but she moves down to sit with the others because it is on the floor the presents are.

Without much caring about anything else, the girls’ starts to open the presents and light voices and for every present opened they need to give out a sound and show it to the other members. Hannah smiles over that Emelia’s mother had bought a present for her and she opens three presents from fans too before she bursts out laughing seeing what Emelia is showing up. The whole group laughs when seeing the purple onepiece that Emelia stands up to show full length off and Hannah laughs so much seeing it that she even falls to the side on the floor where the wrapping paper left is piling up and Carolina playfully throws some paper over her though Hannah can’t seem to notice because she is laughing so much.

“Oh !” Julia bursts out and then she starts to laugh too, followed by Carolina giving a shouting laughter as she picks up the purple clothing that Julia just had opened – a onepiece that looks the same as Emelia’s.

“Oh on you, I bet all of us have gotten one,” Emelia tells the other three.

“Hell yes, I want one too,” Maria says and starts to search for a soft present in the pile she has prepared to open.

Their puppies are running around with the wrapping paper, tear it apart and spread it around the room while Ace is happy playing around with just one piece of paper and Michin starts to jump up and down by Julia when she is unwrapping a present, excited as if he is going to get something. Julia is really great with dogs. Her half-sister has three dogs in Sweden, and then a lot of friends of Julia’s mother have a lot of dogs (one couple even have thirteen dogs!) so Julia grew up surrounded by dogs, so she is the one who has known how to try train them to listen to words and how to make them stop peeing everywhere. It has almost been a week since the puppies came in to the family, and it seems like they are really liking the family they have gotten in 5 Pieces. Ace is an angel too. Though he is a cat and the other two are dogs, Ace is currently of the same size as the puppies and he is really the boss. Ryo lies down whenever Ace seems to get upset over something, while Michin is really the crazy one who is filled with energy. Its fun opening presents with them. Fans have sent in presents for Ace; toys and candy, while the ladies and their managers have prepared toys and candy for the puppies.

Maria gets a new cell phone, which she actually wanted, so for half an hour she is just sitting and trying to figure out all the new things about her cell phone, downloading things and she is really lost in that cell phone. Hannah got a surprise over that she got a digital camera from a fan, and it is a sticker put on it that the fan had put on, where it says Hannah’s name along with a bunny. Emelia helps her to make it work and she starts to take pictures of their cute pets, of the members, of Carolina showing off the purple onepiece she also has gotten and she takes random pictures of their Christmas decoration too.

All five members’ gets the purple onepiece, and it is actually a gift from their managers, with each onepiece having the members’ name written on the chest as if their managers thought they can’t see the difference of each other’s purple onepieces that aren’t much different even in size. So it is great their clothes have their names on it because Maria starts to shout out that she doesn’t know which one is hers of the two on the sofa if it wasn’t for that they found the names. Maybe they are still tired, haven’t really woken up yet or they are just crazy because it is December 24, but the ladies gets dressed in these purple clothes, laughing their butts off when seeing each other and it is so noisy in the apartment with 5 Pieces running around in their onepices and their pets running around excitedly after them. They take pictures too, and Maria takes a picture on her new phone of the girls in their matching purple clothes, standing tight next to each other and looking insane, and she uploads the picture on instagram that she joined the moment she got the new phone.

And it is still just the beginning of their morning. The ladies eat breakfast together around the kitchen table, and then they head out on a walk in their pretty purple clothes (+ winter clothes) and two puppies. Ace is just not as fun to take out on walks as Michin and Ryo are. Hannah holds on to Ryo’s leash, and though the cute little white puppy is the calmest puppy indoor, he gets very lively outdoor. He and Hannah keep jogging up in front of the others, and whenever Hannah starts to run, Ryo gives off a playful bark and follow her. Michin is also lively, just as lively outdoor as indoor, and he wants to run around too and Emelia is just as playful as he is so they are like five purple dressed foreigners in Seoul running around with two puppies.
