A pair of white lace-up ankle boots on the feet fits the slim yet trained legs that are in a pair of white leggings that has a light gray knee-patch barely visible. A white, little loose shirt with long sleeves rolled up to the elbows and with help from a thick elasticized belt the beautiful S-line of a big chest and not too wide hip. She is standing with a hand on her hip, both her hands in white boxing wraps, her chest rising and falling while trying to catch her breath. The blonde hair is long and freely with the end in a white colour and the make-up in her face is darker and thicker than what it was in the morning when they were preparing to film for ‘A Good Cause.’

5 Pieces have performed on today’s Inkigayo, but they are currently pre-recording for next week’s Inkigayo too because the group will be abroad for an SM Town concert next week so they can’t attend. Emelia is on the stage with them now. Her stomach is still weird as it was in the morning but she hasn’t been throwing up since she before lunch, and it is around 7PM now.

“Are you tired yet?” Carolina asks their fans in the audience.

They have recorded the song three times now, and they are going to start the forth now because someone is still not satisfied. The girls are tired after a long day, and they have been dancing so much the past three hours; first rehearsal, then actual live performance, then now the pre-recordings for next week. In high heels and tired bodies, plus that Emelia is sick. The good thing is that they aren’t singing live, but they still need to do well.

Fans are shouting that they aren’t tired to answer Carolina’s question, someone among them also calls out for the girls to take good care of themselves during their schedule. Carolina is always good to entertain their fans so while she does that, Hannah can focus on catching her breath and hold her hands to her hip while moving her back from right to left and from left to right; her back is lucky not hurting, but it is a little uncomfortable. A fan calls out her name in the back and Hannah shoots the girl a sudden smile and waves to her, ending up laughing behind her white wrapped hand when more in the audience starts to shout her name and that she is cute because she had gone from seriously focused to brightly smiling just by hearing her name being called out.

The staff calls out for them to begin again and after taking positions [Black & White] starts to play and the fourth recording starts off.

Hannah is proud over her members; the same way Maria has said she is proud over them a few times before when they have worked when being exhausted. Emelia, who is sick, tries to hide it all when they are recording. On the stage when performing, 5 Pieces is professional – that is what makes them tell each other they are proud – by the way they give their all and there is a result in it. You can’t see they are tired, because that’s what the ladies don’t want you to see. Of course there are times when it is absolutely impossible to hide that you are in pain or tired, but just today, even if they are tired and Emelia is sick, the ladies manages to keep the poker faces during the recording. Continuing to dance the tough choreography for four times in a row with just a few minutes in between to gather the strength, the girls pulls off with sweaty necks and backs, fans shouting and cheering endlessly and wind blowing from the movements of the dance with a smooth breeze that more than once makes Hannah want to move faster just to feel it again. Wearing white clothes from top to toe today, all the members in 5 Pieces have made sure to keep it clean, but sweating under it makes it difficult to not make the clothes wet – so during those few minutes between the recordings they have been holding the edge of the clothing to fan it in a way to not make the clothes moist or try to use the air to get rid of the moist on their skin. It’s difficult to be a performer.

The moment the song comes to an end, the girls are standing with their backs towards the audience – their ending position – and when the staff says the cameras have stopped rolling they are able to move from the positions. Hannah almost looses her balance when Emelia leans on her from the side; Emelia looks like she can lie down and sleep right here on the stage. Automatically Hannah gives her a supporting hand around her back, the two of them following the others to the side to see if they have to do it another time or if they can go. Emelia is overdoing her tiredness, Hannah knows it by the way Emelia is dragging her feet so Hannah gets most of her friend’s weight over her, so Hannah whines quietly and says she is going to fall just for Emelia to stand up straight.

“I think this is going to drop,” Emelia says and takes Hannah’s left hand in hers, checking the boxing wrap Hannah has. Hannah looks at it too, in a habit pouting out her lips.

“It can sit on for another recording, if we have to re-do it,” Hannah says. Emelia puts her own hand in to a fist, putting her knuckles against Hannah’s as if she is trying to fit it in a puzzle, and looks up when they have reached the end of the stage to hear the judgement.

“It’s ok,” the staff informs them and they feel so relieved that they don’t have to dance it again today.

5 Pieces thanks their fans for today before heading off the stage. The first thing Hannah does after having the headset removed and heading backstage is to get rid of the belt around her waist, finally able to breathe out. She laughs when Emelia embraces her from behind, coughing on her shoulder and in the middle of laughing Hannah starts to whine to be coughed on, turning her head away and Emelia keeps holding on to her tightly to not let her go. Carolina comes running in behind them, trying to hug them too but her arms just reaches over Emelia to Hannah’s shoulders so she is simply pushed away by Emelia who says she is not invited.

The girls are just outside their dressing-room when someone looks out from the room next too, and Hannah tiredly waves her hand. Though the girls are tired, they got some energy when finding out they don’t have to dance for a fifth time, but Hannah is loosing the energy in her body again when reaching the room. The person she waves to is SHINee’s pretty boy Taemin, who reaches out an arm to wave back at her. SHINee is also doing a pre-recording for next week, so the girls get really happy to meet them.

“How did it go?” Taemin asks and he reaches out his hand again when Hannah comes up to him for them to do some kind of hand shake/high five messily. Hannah takes another step to take a sneak peak inside the room, lightly bowing to the manager in there while Taemin – still kind of hugging the doorframe – greets Emelia (who had let go of Hannah a while back).

“I’m sick,” is what Emelia tells him, looking upset over it.

Hannah goes to the ladies’ dressing-room, wanting to get out of the white clothes that she is uncomfortable in, and she also wipes away the sweat from her neck. Maria just walks by the dressing-room to go greet SHINee; her voice is loudly heard calling cute nicknames to Taemin and then say ‘y legs’ to Minho… That girl definitely knows no distance; Key says that to her when his voice is heard too, him and Maria starting their diva-talk. Hannah smiles when seeing Julia giggle by hearing them, and Hannah is just about to go change her clothes when she hears her cell phone ring, so she picks that up instead. Just seeing who is calling she smiles, answering like she always answers. She is facing the wall when answering, and she smiles wider when the person calling says something.

“Jonghyun, you can just come over and say it, it’s no one particular in here,” Hannah tells him and then hung up, turning around to make sure there actually isn’t anyone particular in the room. True, it’s just Julia, stylist Mi Young and Manager Lee – everyone else beside from stylist Yong Hyun have probably left – and none of them present seem to notice much more than the divas talk outside and what they are busy doing.

Jonghyun naturally walks inside the room, bowing to greet the others before he comes up to Hannah who is smiling at him cutely.

“Hi,” she greets shyly and giggles when he shoots her a charming smile.

“Hi Nabi,” he sweetly tells her, coming up close to her but he takes a step back when noticing how close they were; they need to not be suspicious. “Are you done after this? You schedule.”

“It’s done now,” Hannah nods, stretching out her arms comfortably without looking away from his eyes. “We are going home to sleep and rest and wait for tomorrow to come.” She looks so satisfied telling him that and Jonghyun smiles at her again.

“Can’t I meet you later then?” he whispers to her, letting his fingers lightly touch her waist when changing the weight in his feet. “We got the pre-recording to do before we are done with our schedule too. I want to meet you…”

Hannah glances over at Manager Lee. She wants to meet Jonghyun too, and she thinks through how to do it. She smiles at him. “Maybe you can give me a ride home from the gym?” she suggests and he nods, touching her wrist because he can’t give her a kiss, and he tells her to not be too hard on herself at the gym.

“I’m so exhausted I can barely drive,” Jonghyun sighs when Hannah is sitting next to him in his car.

She turns her head to look at him, also tired and exhausted. She has just been training simply at the gym, her body tired enough from the day’s schedule and it feels so good to sit down in the car, newly showered with a fresh face and her boyfriend picking her up. Jonghyun smiles when noticing that she is looking at him and he takes his hand on hers, holding it while driving with one hand down the street. He moves her hand in his before picking it up to put it by his lips; eyes on the road, he keeps his lips to her skin, softly caressing it while Hannah is smiling at him. It’s quiet in the car with no radio on, just the sound from the rest of the world outside. Jonghyun lets go of her hand when he needs the hand to drive and she puts her hand by his shoulder instead, her fingertips touching the hair by his neck.

“I asked Maria if she could let the two of us share hotel room in Singapore this weekend,” Jonghyun starts to say and he looks over at the left when coming to a crossroad, “but she said it’s impossible. She also said it would be healthy if we went abroad without sharing room. I’m still thinking of a way to convince them.”

“Because you don’t want to share room with Taemin again?” Hannah jokes with him.

“That kid should share room with Jongin. Last time was seriously horrible,” Jonghyun shakes his head. “But that’s not why, you know that.”

She giggles when he takes her hand in his again, and this time when bringing it to his mouth he playfully bites on her fingers so Hannah takes her hand back, laughing and hitting him on the arm while he is just laughs. He is so happy and relaxed, and he drives off to a parking lot where there aren’t much people. Once the car is parked, he takes off the seatbelt and leans over to his right where Hannah starts to giggle and with one hand lightly placed by her neck, he presses his lips against hers. Hannah keeps giggling under him, unable to stop. Jonghyun leans back after kissing her, sitting down with his shoulder on his backrest to look at her.

“I liked the clothes you wore before,” he mentions. “The white outfit you wore before. It made you look out of this world.”

Hannah giggles behind her hands by his comment; she can never take a compliment, and Jonghyun knows it so he is looking at her reaction with amusement. They sit there and talk for a while, holding hands and being like any other couple. But it doesn’t last for long until they have to leave – Jonghyun sends Hannah home and even after going to bed, the two are texting each other. Almost every single day, during breaks and between their schedules, they are either texting or calling each other. Jonghyun is the first to say goodnight, because his roommate needs to sleep too, and he texts Hannah a cute goodnight text that she is lying in her bed and smiling over even after that she has replied. At times, having a boyfriend puts her in a good mood; he texts cutely and makes her smile. She does it to him too, replying cutely and Jonghyun is lying in his own bed, smiling and boasting to s that she is so cute and charming – but he doesn’t show them the text, he just boasts about it.

Later in the morning, 5 Pieces gets ready to go to Japan during the day to record a new song. Hannah gets to borrow Emelia’s black fringed-hem knit top, just because Emelia wanted to borrow one of Hannah’s pullovers and to the knit top Hannah is wearing comfortable leggings and sneakers; pulling on a jacket and dark green knit scarf that hides her whole neck.

The group goes straight to work when arriving in Japan. They occupy the recording studio, working on a song named [Sleeper]. It is a cool song, a Japanese song that will be 5 Pieces’ third Japanese single but first original Japanese single because the previous two singles have just been remakes from Korean songs. For most activities there are cameras filming, whether it is for public or just for the agency, there are still often cameras filming for like music video filming, when doing new abroad activities, preparing for a concert… and there is a simple camera filming them at the recording studio today, because it is 5 Pieces first official Japanese song.

The woman filming asks Maria how she is feeling to record in Japanese. Maria is standing up by the table, holding the lyrics in one hand and she has been going through it with one in the staff. Maria looks cool in a pair of yellow skinny jeans and a huge sweater in red/black where the sleeves are so long that they are hiding her hands even as she is holding the paper.

“I’m nervous,” Maria answers in Japanese and when looking up at the Korean woman she gives a laugh before she talks in Korean; “I have looked forward to do a song in Japanese that– a new song that we haven’t translated from Korean like our previous songs. But I’m nervous because it is the first song; we have to do well.”

“What do you worry over the most?” the woman wonders.

Maria thinks a little about it, glancing down at her papers and she laughs for herself, showing the paper. “Japanese.”

The woman tells her to do well and Maria thanks her before she continues to practice. There are a lot of people present. Beside from 5 Pieces and their managers, there are Japanese producers, the Korean-Japanese translator who will help out with the language for both recording and communication, a vocal coach, the camera-woman and another person, and then there are random Japanese staff coming and going at times too.

“Carolina wonders if this part is supposed to be as the first verse,” Hannah asks in Japanese to the producer, pointing out the parts on the paper for the producer to see. Carolina is standing next to her, biting on a pen, waiting to take down notes.

“It’s different words but the sound is about the same,” he answers and Hannah translates it to Carolina who nods and does a mark at the part. “Which one of you is doing the first part?”

“She is,” Emelia answers in Japanese before anyone has translated and she points over at Maria. “Then Hannah does the next part, and… both of them after that?”

Emelia looks at Hannah as if the youngest is going to confirm it, but Hannah just looks at the lyrics. The producer says that is correct though, and shortly after the actual recording starts. For Emelia and Hannah, they help out to translate for their members, but all ladies are corrected in pronunciation before they record – they go through it seriously as they don’t want to pronounce wrong.

During Hannah’s recording, she is looking extra nervous and biting on her lower lip while getting instructions. Carolina chuckles in the other room, commenting on that Hannah doesn’t need anyone to translate for her. It’s true; Hannah’s Japanese is good enough so when the producer says anything to her she is fast to either nod or give a response, so the translator realises early that she doesn’t have to do her work when it comes to Hannah. Emelia’s Japanese has definitely improved, but Hannah is still better. People might find it kind of impossible because it has been a long time since Hannah had her activities in Japan while for Emelia it was just this summer, but Hannah was in Japan for about eight months with just a few days in Korea and Sweden in that time and Emelia had been in Japan for about four months. And both of them had worked hard before going to Japan to learn the language; and though Emelia always talks about her amazing memory and Hannah are pretty known among her friends to not have a good memory, for some reason Hannah has it very easily to remember Japanese. Then she at remembering Chinese while Emelia speaks that very well, so it evens out either way in the end.

“So what, we are having Japanese activities all of 2013?” Julia asks with a disliking face-expression when the group is at the airport in Japan, waiting to go back to Korea. Almost all day has passed with them in the recording studio, working hard to make a song worthy the rising name – 5 Pieces. Everyone seemed pleased at the end, so hopefully it won’t be any trouble.

Hannah is sitting with her head as far down as she can do let the thick scarf keep her arm; she is practically hugging the scarf and jacket around her. It isn’t very cold at the airport, but Hannah is weird to out of nowhere start to freeze at times. She looks to be asleep though she is looking at her feet that she is stretching out from the seat. Emelia, who hasn’t been feeling well these past days, is still a little weak from throwing up the day before but she is doing well and her voice is back to its low base.

“If everything goes as planned, the new single will be released sometime in January, and you will do some activities in Japan with it while preparing for a full-length album. And by the time the album is released you will also have an arena tour. Your Japanese classes will increase soon so you can communicate with the fans too,” their manager is explaining in a very scripted-tone, sounding as if he is reading right from the paper. “5 Pieces will spent most of 2013 in Japan, that is what is being planned. Because you have mostly been active in Korea, and your popularity continues to spread worldwide, SM thinks it’s about time you expand and focus on Japan – especially since the five of you have said you want to focus more on Asia rather than the whole world.”

“And they listen to us?” Maria chuckles.

Hannah can see from the corner of her eye how Carolina smiles by Maria’s comment. 5 Pieces’ members say a lot of things, but they have had some kind of I-really-want-and-need ideas about debuting and promoting wildly in Japan, and since they have debuted in Japan; the promoting wildly in Japan is on its way. But the group has also said that though they want to expand to the rest of the world, they are definitely sure they are not ready for it. So SM Entertainment has come up with the idea of letting 5 Pieces have their activities in Japan with Japanese album and arena tour, to make a bigger and more secure name in Japan as they have kind of done in Korea while at the same time as they have done since last year slowly advancing with international singles and activities. That’s the plan: Korea – Japan – World. With the main attention still put in Korea.

“I really don’t want to be away from Korea for too long,” Maria starts to say in her girly way, “but I just can’t wait for us to have activities in Japan. It’s like starting all over again, but with less negativity because Japan is more open to strange people.”

“Does that include girls not being girly?” Carolina wonders, honestly being curious about it. “Haven’t you said before that girl-groups always have either the cute image, or the y image, or both? Our songs are just pure coolness.”

“We are girly, what are you talking about!” Maria defends them selves, but even Hannah looks up at her with a slightly doubtful face-expression. If you look at Maria, she is sitting on the chair with her legs wide apart, one arm hanging over the other chair’s backrest and at times she will put up her hand to to burp. Maria notices how they look at her and she puts up her hands. “Fine. Not exactly girly, but we are still girls. And with our style, we have already entered the world of Japan. Deal with it and live it for full.”

“Like a Piece,” Carolina tries to coolly add but ends up having Maria look at her as if she just said the strangest thing you can say and Carolina laughs for herself, turning her attention back to her cell phone. “Oh… Jonghyun is wearing a couple-ring.”

Maria flies up from the chair to come up to Carolina, leaning over to see the cell phone while Hannah sitting next to Carolina is fast to lean towards her to see it too. Carolina has taken up a recent article, an article from just now that asks; “SHINee’s Jonghyun wearing a couple-ring?” The article is talking about SHINee attending an award show today where they received an award plus performing [Sherlock], and what some hawk-eyed fans have noticed is that Jonghyun was wearing a ring that looks like a couple ring. The performance is in the article as well as pictures zooming in on the ring from different angles.

“How can they know it’s a couple-ring?” Hannah wonders with a clueless face-expression and voice.

Carolina tries to explain it to her messily that a couple-ring has an identical twin, that they look like engagement rings or something, but Hannah barely hears her because Maria says it’s just a crazy link-idols-together week on the page Carolina is looking at. Hannah still borrows the cell phone to look through the few comments that have been written on the article, seeing some fans wondering who it could be, someone writing that he could have gone back to Shin Sekyung, another one wondering if it is someone from SNSD or Miss A…

“This one,” Hannah giggles and shows it to Carolina who is reading over her shoulder.

The comment is written like; ‘I completely support Jonghyun being in a relationship as long as he is happy! Personally I think its 5 Pieces’ Hannah because the two of them look like they got a lot going on in their [Get your kiss] performances and I definitely could see it happening between them! O_O’ and someone wrote under that comment ‘omo I’m not the only one hoping for those two to get together, but still … 5P is banned to date and if you look at it closely, 5P wouldn’t have the time :P’

“You need to stop looking y on stage, magnae,” Carolina tells her, meaning the stage with Jonghyun.

Hannah gives a pout, glancing through the comments. Not everyone think its okay; someone comments that Hannah is a player and that Jonghyun shouldn’t fall for it and someone else comments that Jonghyun should date a Korean. Hannah gives back the cell phone to Carolina when they are leaving; Maria can see that she looks upset after reading the comments, so she puts an arm around Hannah while they are walking.

“Don’t over think about it, Hannah. It’s simple to say that it isn’t a couple-ring.”

Hannah nods. She knows that. But she still worries that people will get suspicious; if fans starts to look closely at idols around Jonghyun wearing some particular ring, Hannah will easily be found – especially since they have performed [Get Your Kiss] together. Maria nods too.

“I tell you again to not think about it, and instead; we will watch Breaking Dawn tonight!” Maria gives out a sound after excitedly say the last part, and Hannah laughs because of it. Breaking Dawn 2, the final movie for the Twilight saga, has come out on the cinema and as big followers, Hannah and Maria are going to watch it. They are excited because it is the last movie, the ending of another fantasy. For four years, Hannah and Maria have been reading and watching the books and movies for Twilight. It isn’t as long as ten years as they did for Harry Potter, but it’s exciting.

And before going to watch the movie, Hannah has time to go to the gym to have a real work out with trainer Park Hyun. Last night before meeting Jonghyun it was just a simple work out, but for these two hours Hannah is working out with training and boxing and with Park Hyun leading her it is the best workout. After the movie they see at the cinema, Hannah uploads a picture on twitter of her and Maria standing outside with the Twilight poster behind them, both girls looking sad in the picture.
