You looked over to your alarm clock. It was seven in the morning and you had to get ready for school. You were extremely tired. You yawned and stretched your arms above your head. Then you remembered the events from last night. It wasn't a dream. Daehyun confessed to you. You let out a loud cheer and giggled as you fell back to your mattress. You couldn't wipe the idiotic smile off your face. However, just as quickly as the smile came, it disappeared. Daehyun still needed to prove that he loved you. He needed to prove that he was still the best friend you knew. 

A sudden buzz from your phone snapped you from your thoughts. You were surprised to see a message from Daehyun.

       "Have a good day at school! Make sure you eat enough!"

You rolled your eyes. Daehyun was always thinking of food.

        "Thanks :P and of course I will eat enough. What are you doing today with BAP?"

Daehyun responded only seconds later.

       "Today is our third recording day. Next week we are filming our music video. Our debut is going to be soon!"

You were proud of Daehyun. This was his dream and you were glad that he was achieving it. You sent him a reply.

       "Wow! That is great Daehyun! Good luck today recording! I have to get ready for school now, but text me later."

Daehyun texted you back almost immediately.

       "Okay I'll text you later :D bye!"

You suddenly smacked your forehead. You forgot about Lee Kyun. You hoped he was okay and wasn't too mad. You made a mental note to visit him later at the ramen shop where he worked. 

You stood in front of your closet and ran a hand through your hair. 

"Which outfit to wear?" You mumbled quietly to yourself. You decided to wear a beige sweatshirt with a pair of cutoff jeans. You tossed your hair into a messy bun and admired yourself if your mirror.

"Nice." You said as you nodded in approval. You found you back pack and slung it over your shoulder. Feeling confident, you stepped outside into the bright sun and began your walk to your first class, vocals. 

You walked into class only seconds before the bell rang.

"You are cutting it close y/n" your vocals instructor eyed you as she peered over the frames of her glasses.

You just shrugged. You weren't late and therefore, was none of your concern. Your teacher turned her attention back to the rest of the class.

"Ok so as you all know, the showcase is barely less than three weeks away. For some of you, this may be your last and final chance to debut." 

You swore that your teacher looked at you as she said the last sentence. 

Rehearsal began minutes later and everyone practiced their performance. However, your teacher interrupted the class with an announcement.

"We have a new student. This is Hyo-Rin."

Hyo-Rin shyly waved to the class. You gave her a bright smile and she immediately recognized you from yesterday. She grinned and waved harder at you. She looked so silly, waving hysterically, you couldn't help but giggle. Hyo-Rin skipped over to you.

"Hey y/n!"

"Hi Hyo-Rin it's nice to see you again! I hope you are enjoying it here."

"Oh yes. It has been great. Anyways, what is everyone practicing for?"

"we have an upcoming showcase."

"You are performing in it?" Hyo-Rin asked.

"Yea. I am performing 'I Don't care' by 2ne1"

"Oh I love that song!" Hyo-Rin exclaimed as she clasped her hands together.

Hyo-Rin began to sing the main chorus, hitting every note perfectly. Your jaw dropped. She was amazing. You couldn't help but stare in awe.

"Oh is it bad?" Hyo-Rin asked worriedly.

"No of course not! In fact, you are outstanding!"

"Thanks." Hyo-Rin grinned.

"Hyo-Rin how would you like performing the song as a duet with me for the showcase?" You asked her.

Her eyes lit up and she looked up at you in shock.

"Really!?" She exclaimed.

"Yes of course." You assured her.

"I would love too"

"Then what are we waiting for?" You said as you began to play the song.

Hyo-Rin did amazing and you were feeling very confident about the showcase. The rest of the school day went by fairly well. Pretty soon, all your classes were over. You walked out of school with Hyo-Rin.

"I'll see you tomorow!" You cheerfully waved to Hyo-Rin as you both went your separate ways to your apartments.

You suddenly remembered Lee kyun. You needed to go visit him at the ramen shop. You rode a city bus to downtown Seoul where the ramen shop was. You paid the bus driver and went into the small ramen shop.

Lee Kyun was at the cash register. You walked up to the cash register.

"Hello how may I help- oh hi y/n" lee Kyun smiled when he realized it was you. You felt relieved that he didn't seem too upset over last night. 

"Listen Lee Kyun, I am sorry about last night with Daehyun."

"Don't worry about it. He didn't do anything to you right?"

"No actually...Daehyun confessed." You said as you blushed.

"What was your response?" Lee kyun asked inquisitively.

"I told him he had to prove it. I need to know that he will be there for me."

Lee Kyun smiled and nodded his head.

"I'm proud of you y/n. You really deserve a guy that cares for you. Even though Daehyun and I didn't get along last night, I could tell Daehyun really loves you. You two belong together. But if Daehyun is ever a jerk, call me and I'll kick his ." 

You grinned and threw you arms around Lee Kyun's neck.

"Thanks Lee Kyun for being such a great friend."

Lee Kyun patted your head as he pulled away from your embrace.

"Don't forget that if you ever need help on your math homework, I am right here." He said as he gave you a thumbs up.

You laughed and high fived him. You waved one last time before riding the city bus back to your on campus apartment.

As you lay in bed that night, you couldn't fall asleep. Everything was working out so perfectly. You made two new friends: Hyo-Rin and Lee Kyun. The rehearsals for the showcase were coming along, and Daehyun confessed.

soooo there has been lots of drama so this chapter is pretty calm. No cliffhanger :p I wrote this chapter a while ago, but due to finals, had not been able to post it until now. Anyways, don't think the drama is over yet. Please subscribe and upvote my story <3

I wrote this along with the previous chapter, but I didn't double update because I still had to edit this one. Anyway I will update next Friday because that is when finals end!
