“What’s the occasion?” Yunho asked in confusion as Ji Eun filled the whole dining table with delicious cuisine.

The wife just smiled shyly in return as she took the cutleries and lined them up on the table. He was getting nervous with that smile, did he miss something? He turned to the little girl sitting on the baby’s chair, as if asking her what’s going on.

“Baby, am I missing something?” he asked, raking his memory for an answer. “I don’t think it’s our anniversary yet,” he mumbled to himself.

“Is it… Yuri’s birthday?” he guessed, hoping to answer correctly. He felt tensed, waiting for the real answer.

“I have something important to tell you oppa, but before that let’s eat,” Ji Eun finally replied, still not answering the question.

As she was about to scoop the rice for him, Yunho grabbed her hands to stop her. “I’m getting nervous here. Is something wrong Ji Eun-ah? Please tell me…” he pleaded, heart beating at a fast rate.

Ji Eun couldn’t hold it in any longer either, she interlaced their fingers together and pulled him up from his seat. They shared a short kiss before she locked their gazes with each other. Ji Eun leaned in closer to his cheek before whispering the good news.

“Yunnie, I think I’m pregnant,” she whispered softly to his ear.

As soon as she pulled away, the look on Yunho’s face was indescribable. He had his eyes wide open with one of his eyebrows raised. “I didn’t quite get that… did you just say that you’re…”

“Pregnant. I think I’m pregnant Yunho oppa,” Ji Eun repeated, more clearly this time.

“You mean there’s a baby in my baby’s tummy?” Yunho exclaimed, staring at Ji Eun’s flat stomach.

The wife giggled and nodded in return. Before she could say another word, Yunho hugged her tightly and twirled her around in circles while screaming his lungs out. Ji Eun squealed in fright as he twirled three times before setting her on the floor.

“Oppa, you’re so loud, mind the neighbours!” she reminded.

But Jung Yunho could care less of what other people would think, he was jumping up and down while pumping his fist in the air. “Yah~! My wife is pregnant!” he yelled, announcing the whole building of this great news.

Ji Eun and Yuri had to cover their ears at the loudness of his voice. Her heart skipped a beat at his reaction, she was very happy that he’s accepting the news in a good way. Yunho on the other hand was more that happy, he was estatic, overjoyed you name it. After he calmed down a bit, he engulfed his wife in a tight embrace.

“Thank you so much baby, you don’t know how happy I am to hear this,” he mumbled near her ear and kissed her hair.

“We’re going to the doctor together tomorrow. Can you make it?” Ji Eun asked worriedly.

“I’ll cancel all meetings for tomorrow. Baby, how do you know you’re pregnant?” he questioned, he was guessing the same thing but he never thought that it would be true.

“Omma told me. She thinks I’m pregnant since I’m showing the signs,” she replied. “But honestly, my heart tells me there’s someone living inside of me,” she caressed her stomach lovingly.

Yunho took her hand in his and kissed it while his other hand was gently her stomach. “Everyone is gonna be so happy to hear this,” he smiled lovingly.

After tucking Yuri comfortable in bed, the couple got themselves ready to sleep. Ji Eun was brushing her hair in front of the mirror when Yunho came and hugged her from behind. They stared at each other’s reflection and smiled, no words were spoken but they both knew they felt and indescribable bliss right now.

“Aigoo, my innocent and naïve baby is pregnant. I’m still shocked to hear the news,” he chuckled to himself, brushing their cheeks together.

Ji Eun stood up and headed to the bed. They slid under the covers and turned to face each other. “I’m still overwhelmed oppa,” she replied, tracing her fingers on his lips.

Yunho pulled his wife closer in an embrace as he kissed her lips tenderly. Ji Eun involuntarily closed her eyes as she responded. He tightened the embrace and deepened the kiss. After a few minutes, they pulled away to gasp for air.

“Saranghae Ji Eun-ah” he mumbled, their lips still slightly touching.

The wife caressed his cheek lovingly as she replied. “Saranghae Yunho oppa,”

“I promise to tend to your every need. If you want anything just tell me, regardless of the time,” he promised.

Ji Eun felt shivers up her spine when Yunho slid his hands under her shirt and caress her stomach affectionately. She knew he would be a great father to their child, his eyes were telling her that he was ready for this journey. Her heart skips a beat at the thought.

“Even if it’s in the middle of the night?” she asked, referring to the incident the night ago.

“Yes, anytime at all baby. Don’t hesitate to tell me. You must take good care of yourself, of our baby,” he added, sounding like a protective father and husband.

“But oppa… I’m scared of this pregnancy… I-”

“Baby, I promise I’ll be with you every step of the way. You’re not alone in this,” he kissed her forehead for assurance.

Those words of assurance made Ji Eun smiled in return at how thoughtful her husband can be. She was honestly very nervous about this pregnancy, imagining the things that she heard about other people’s pregnancy. But she was very sure she could go through it with her husband by her side.

“Thank you oppa,” she replied, eyes getting watery all of a sudden.

Yunho saw that and gently kissed her eyes. “Shh… it’s okay. We’re in this together,” he caressed her cheek tenderly.

“Now sleep, pregnant mothers should have a lot of rest,” he said in concern.

“Doc, isn’t there any way to stop her nausea?” Jung Yunho asked worriedly as he was rubbing his wife’s back.

Dr. Kwon just shook her head and smiled in return at the concerned husband. She went to pour a cup of tea for Ji Eun as the couple went to take a seat in front of her. The doctor gave a her a small towel and pushed the hot cup towards Ji Eun.

The couple went for a check-up to confirm Ji Eun’s pregnancy. Yunho called his secretary early in the morning for her to cancel all his meetings for today. Meanwhile they left Yuri at Ji Eun’s mother’s house. As soon as she arrived in the doctor’s room, Ji Eun ran to the toilet, her nausea was attacking her.

“I’m sorry but there’s nothing much that I can do. It’s normal for pregnant mothers to feel that way for the first few months of pregnancy,” the doctor who was in her mid-thirties replied to Yunho’s question.

“So, I’m really pregnant?” Ji Eun asked hopefully after sipping some tea. Her husband sensed her anxiousness as he held her hands in his and gave a her a reassuring smile.

“Congratulations Mr. Jung. Your wife is four weeks pregnant,” Dr. Kwon confirmed their guess after taking a few test on Ji Eun.

“Ji Eun-ah, komawo,” Yunho engulfed his wife in his arms after hearing the good news.

Ji Eun smiled brightly as she returned the hug. Her heart was beating fast, knowing that there’s a life inside of her. The doctor just smiled at the sight before her, she has seen many couple’s reaction about their pregnancies before, but this young couple was the most heart-warming to her.

“But you really have to take good care of yourself Ji Eun-sshi. The first few months of pregnancy are the most crucial time” the doctor advised.

Ji Eun smiled and nodded in reply. “But doctor what about her irritations?” the worried husband suddenly asked.

“Try to avoid smells that upset you stomach. And don’t hesitate to eat anything you want, but try to avoid unhealthy foods. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits, it helps in the baby’s development,”

“You have to remember that Ji Eun-ah,” Yunho reminded like a doctor himself as the wife pouted.

“She will be easily tired and sleepy, don’t let her get overworked,” the doctor continued reminding Yunho as he nodded. “Ji Eun-sshi is still young. I’m sure with extra care, the baby will grow healthy and happy,” Dr. Kwon assured both of them as she bid them goodbye.

“Thank you so much doctor, see you soon,” the couple bowed and left the room.

The young couple were walking hand in hand out of the hospital towards the car while Ji Eun noticed her husband was smiling to himself. He kept looking at the ground as the smirk on his face grew wider each second. She went curious and tugged onto his work blazer.

“Yunnie oppa, what’s so funny?” the curious wife asked cutely.

Jung Yunho turned to face his wife as he pulled her closer by the waist. “So, this is how it feels to be a real appa. I can’t wait to tell everyone about this. Imagine appa and omma’s looks on their faces,” he chuckled to himself.

“Oh, that reminds me…” Ji Eun suddenly gasped as she fished out her cellphone from her bag. Yunho stared questioningly at her, wondering who she called.

“Yoboseyo? Daddy!” she squealed once her father’s voice was heard through the phone. “I have good news for you… I’m pregnant!” she yelped to the phone.

Yunho could hear a loud yell coming from her phone as Lee Sugeun kept mumbling nonstop after he heard the news. His wife on the other hand was giggling and replying his questions with a few ‘arasso’ and ‘yes’ once in a while. Yunho was completely left out when they entered the car and headed to his parents house. The call between the father and daughter ended as soon as Yunho parked in front of the Jung’s house.

Yunho and Ji Eun could pretty much guess Jung Misun’s reaction. As expected, she was squealing like a fangirl and clapping her hands excitedly after the couple announced the great news. Jihye was also estatic as she jumped up and down, completely forgetting her own problems with her boyfriend.

“Aigoo~ this cutie pie is finally pregnant! I’m so happy for you guys,” Jihye pinched Ji Eun’s cheeks hard.

Misun Ji Eun’s hair lovingly as she touched the girl’s stomach. “You must take good care of it sweetie. You Jung Yunho, take good care of your wife and child!” she warned her own son.

Yunho just rolled his eyes and dragged his wife to sit before the two female could attack her with more questions. He wrapped one arm around her waist as she leaned her head comfortably on his chest. He suddenly remembered what the doctor said and decided to ask his wife.

“Baby, are you hungry? Do you want to eat anything in particular?” he asked, gently her hair.

Ji Eun looked up and smiled at him. “I’m fine now, just a little sleepy,” she replied, touched at his concern. But she wondered how long will he keep up being thoughtful about her, she wondered if he would ever get bored asking her that.

“Do you want to lay down? Let’s go to my room-” he wasn’t even finished with his words when he realized that Ji Eun was already fast asleep in his arms. He chuckled to himself and decided to stay there since he didn’t want to wake her up. 

Ji Eun wasn’t even asleep for half an hour when two figures came bursting through the door of the Jungs. The guardian angels Jaejoong and Junsu came running in with the latter holding two large plastic bags in his hands. Junsu was about to squel in happiness when Jaejoong clasp his palm over the younger male’s mouth to silence him. He pointed towards the sleeping angel in Yunho’s arms as Junsu mouthed an ‘oh’ and nodded

“How’s the visit to the doc?” Jaejoong asked Yunho as he took a seat at the couch beside Yunho.

The husband kissed his wife’s hair gently as he smiled at the two guardian angels. “She’s four weeks pregnant. The doctor said both of them are doing well,”

“Yay! Baby kitty is having a baby! Aww~ but she’s still so cute hyung!” Junsu tried to lower his voice by silently squealing in happiness. He had to suppress the urge to pinch the girl’s cheeks since her husband is there.

“Congrats, take good care of them. Don’t try to do anything that’ll hurt both of them,” Yunho noticed there was a double meaning in Jaejoong’s last sentence.

“But wait… how did you guys know?” he went curious and asked.

Jaejoong went closer as he his sister’s hair lovingly. “My mother told me. She was very sure that Ji Eun is pregnant without even going to the doctor,”

“Junsu, what are those?” Yunho turned his attention to the two plastic bags that Junsu brought in earlier.

“Food for baby kitty! Pregnant women tend to have cravings so I don’t know which fruits to buy. I ended up buying every fruit sold there,” the dolphin guardian angel scratched the back of his head.

“Yeah, until you had to borrow my money!” Jaejoong nudged him, as if warning him to not forget about paying him back.

“But these are for baby kitty!” Junsu reasoned, defending himself.

Yunho was getting annoyed at Junsu voice that was getting louder and louder by the second. The fact that the dolphin boy still call his wife by that nickname also irritates him. “Yah, you’ll wake her up!”

Before Junsu could even comprehend his words, the pregnant girl was already awakened from her sleep at his loud voice. She rubbed her eyes as she tried to recognize the new voices around her. Ji Eun then smiled widely as she broke away from Yunho’s grip into her brother’s warm hug.

“Jae oppa, Junsu oppa! You’re here!” she exclaimed in delight as she hugged both guardian angels. The husband couldn’t help but to feel jealous as he felt emptiness when she left his arms.

“Baby kitty is now gonna be a mother! Can we be your baby’s godfather?” Junsu requested, hands clasped together before him.

Ji Eun chuckled at his cuteness when Yunho suddenly yelped. “Yah, who gave you permission?” he raised an eyebrow.

“Yunho oppa! Kwenchana, I gave him permission,” Ji Eun snapped back at him. Yunho was caught off guard at her sudden attitude as he went tongue-tied.

Junsu was clapping his hands excitedly as Jaejoong smiled at the fact that he’s gonna become an uncle soon. “Hello there, I’m your godfather!” Junsu spoke to Ji Eun’s tummy, reaching out to touch it.

Before he could do so, Yunho jumped from his seat and smacked Junsu’s hands away.  He protectively hugged Ji Eun, shielding her from the poor guardian angel. “Yah, I know she’s pregnant, but she’s still my wife!” he freaked out and glared at Junsu.

Jaejoong just let out a hearty laugh at their little quarrel as he added. “Yunho’s right. Besides, there’s no baby bump yet. And she’s my sister!”

“Mian…” Junsu nodded as he tried to hide his blushing face.

Ji Eun on the other hand stared innocently at her overprotective husband and brother. She just shrugged her shoulders when two plastic bags caught her attention. “Junsu oppa, are those fruits?” she asked, eyes twinkling in delight.

The dolphin boy regained his happiness as he showed her the bags and took out all it’s contents. “Which one would you like? I bought lots of them,”

“Do you have mangoes?” Ji Eun peeked inside the plastic while rubbing her tummy with one hand.

“Ah, here! They’re really sweet,” he handed a few large yellow-coloured mangoes. Seeing Ji Eun her lip, he went to the kitchen to get a knife and peel the fruits for her.

“Thanks oppa, you’re the best!” the pregnant Ji Eun ate the juicy mangoes with much passion, her cravings were getting the best of her.

Yunho could only watch the scene from afar with a heavy heart. His heart sunk a bit knowing that she didn’t ask for him to attend to her when he was the first one to ask if she was craving for anything. He was left out and slightly jealous at their interaction.

Ji Eun was still occupied with everyone around her to notice the jealousy obviously visible on her husband’s face by lunchtime. He tried many ways to get her attention. “You should eat more veggies. Here let me feed you,” he held up the piece of vegetable in front of .

Ji Eun gladly opened and munched on the food. Soon, one after another spoon of every single dish on the table was held in front of her face. “Oppa, I’m pregnant not paralysed. I can feed myself,” she pushed his hands away.

Yunho was about to protest but he remembered that pregnant moms have quite shocking mood swings as he complied. “A-arasso, eat a lot,” The husband could only watch from afar as he frowned and pouted to himself when she ignored him.
