Jennie's POV

I fell crazy, madly, deeply in love with someone who I can have but I can't be with.

We're two worlds apart and no matter how much we wanted to be together, the circumstances won't permit it.

I love her, but my love alone can't go against the heiress of a huge company. 

In each and every time that I deny Jisoo of the chances for us to be together, it feels like I've been stabbed in my heart a million times. It's hard to tell her that we can't be together every time that she asks.

How did I end up falling for her? It's making me crazy.

"I love you, crazy." Those words came out of my mouth unconsciously.

When I look at her, I can't stop thinking about how lucky I am to even be stuck with her here at the rooftop.

Do you know how it feels when just the mere sight of the person that you love is more than enough to complete you? When even in the simplest things like Jisoo looking at me in the eyes makes me say I love you unconsciously.

I would want to be stuck with Jisoo here forever if it meant that I get to stay with her.

Believe me or not but whenever she asks me to stay with her, hold on to her and wait for her... I wanted to run back to Jisoo so much and kiss her but I won't, I can't. She's going to be someone else's wife and I am not going be the woman that clings on to a person who is already committed to somebody else.

I woke up to the clicking sound, somebody just unlocked the door.

"Chu." I tried to wake her up but she didn't even budge.

She's sleeping soundly while her head is resting on my shoulder. I slightly pushed Jisoo away from me and made her lean on the backrest of the bench. I took her jacket off of me and put it on her lap.

I quickly stood in front of the door, waiting for someone to open it. Then a male employee opened the door, he got flustered when he saw me.

"M-Miss Jennie, what are you doing here? A–are you here alone all night?" He asked.

I smiled at him.

"No, I wasn't alone Jisoo is here too." I told the man.

"I–I'm not the one who locked the door last night Miss Jennie, believe me." The hotel staff explained himself.

"It's okay, just wake her up. I have to go." I excused myself and hurriedly left the scene.

I have to leave first or this incident might end up into a huge scandal. She's already engaged and I bet their employees here already knows about it.

I looked back before I hurriedly entered the elevator.

A few moments later and I finally reached the ground floor. I am on my way back to my overwater bungalow when Lisa suddenly came out of nowhere.

"Jen!" She called my name and ran to me.

Shucks! I hope she didn't just see me get off the elevator.

"Oh h–hi, Lis!" I waived at her.

"I kept on knocking on your door but you didn't answer, where have you been?" She asked.

"Oh, I–uh... I just strolled around, you know enjoying the morning." I chuckled uncomfortably as I made an excuse to her.

Lisa furrowed her eyebrows and looked down to my feet and up to my face.

"Really? Wearing that?" She queried.

I looked down on myself checking my outfit then look back at her and smiled.

"Mmhmm." I nodded.

She chuckled and took my hand.

"Okay, then let's have our breakfast. I'm hungry." Lisa lead the way as she tugged me by the hand to the restaurant.

She pulled a chair for me then sat across where I am sitting, and called the waiter's attention.

"What do you want to eat for breakfast?" Lisa queried.

I glanced at her then smiled.

"Whatever you're having." I replied.

"Okay then... I'll have two of these please." She ordered.

A few minutes later and the waiter came back with our order. While we're eating our food, Lisa and I noticed Rosé who just entered the restaurant. 

"Where's Jisoo?" The woman in front of me asked her.

She smiled to us. "She's on her way here."

Then she went to the table a few feet from ours.

"Here!" I heard Rosé yell and waived at someone by the entrance of the restaurant.

She walked towards the table where the woman is. Then her eyes caught mine as I am looking at her unconsciously. Ugh! Jennie! Why are you staring at her anyway?! I looked away and just pretended that I didn't see her.

Do you know that feeling when someone is looking at you? Yeah, I got the feeling that she's glancing at me so I'm trying to resist the urge to look at her too.

I tried to take a quick glance at Jisoo, then I noticed how her facial expression changed. They seemed to be talking about a serious matter.
