"Well somebody's happy." Soojin noticed that Jennie has been smiling on her own for a while now.

"Tell me, what happened? Is it Lisa?" She wiggled her eyebrows while nudging Jennie's side.

The latter can't seem to hide that grin on her face. "What are you talking about? No, I'm just happy. Can't I be happy for no reason at all?"

"Really? Okay, if you say so. I won't force you to share it because you might just do it." Soojin jested.

"Crazy." Jennie replied with a noticeable joy in her voice.

"Jen, the only crazy person here is you. You've been smiling for a while now!" Soojin retorted and left Jennie still smiling on her own.

"Welcome to Seulgi's Seafood!" Jennie loudly said when she heard the wind chime on the door making some noise.

She looked at the door and there she saw Lisa, standing by the door. The latter smiled at her and walked straight to the counter where Seulgi is.

"Seul, can I take Jennie today? I'll send a person in her place. Don't worry, she's already paid." Lisa flashed her toothy smile at the restaurant owner.

"Jennie? Oh, okay." The owner gave her permission wihout a second thought.

Lisa walked to where the petite woman is standing. She wrapped her arms around the woman's waist as she tries to untie the apron on Jennie. Their face is so close to each other that they could hear each others' breathing.

She beamed at Jennie. "Come with me."

She successfully untied the apron and took it off the woman. Then Lisa gave the apron to the temporary replacement employee.

The lanky woman grabbed Jennie's hand and took her out of the restaurant.

"Lisa wait! What are you doing?" Jennie pulled her hand away from the woman's grip.

"Can you just trust me and come with me?" Lisa uttered.

Jennie sighed. "Lisa, I need this job to earn enough money as soon as possible. I can't just go anywhere you please."

Lisa heaved a heavy sigh. "Just tell me how much do you need, and I'll take care of it."

The petite woman bit her lower lip, she seemed hesitant whether she should respond to her or ignore her.

"I'd rather work hard to get what I want Lis, I'm sorry but I got a job to do." She turned around and went back inside the restaurant, leaving Lisa still standing with great disappointment written all over her face.

It's almost closing time and the heavy rain threatens to fall. Thunder rumbling, as flashes of lightning lightens up the dark grey sky.

"Jen, I need to go home first. I had an urgent business to do." Soojin told her best friend while she hangs her apron and prepares to leave.

"Oh okay. I can take care of everything here, you can go on ahead." Jennie said to her while wiping the tables.

Soojin hugged her before leaving. "Bye, see you tomorrow."

"Bye, take care." The petite woman waved at her best friend.

A few minutes later after Soojin left, rain finally started to pour and in each passing moment it gets heavier and heavier.

"Ugh... I didn't bring any umbrella with me, what should I do?" Jennie said to herself as she gets ready to leave the restaurant.

She waited for the rain to stop but it seems like it wouldn't stop any sooner. Luckily, she saw a taxi and called it.

Jennie ran to the taxi without an umbrella. While on her way home, she looked outside the car window. When they happened to pass by the park, she noticed a familiar silhouette sitting on the swing.

"Wait, can you please drop me off here?" Jennie said to the taxi driver and paid the fare.

She ran to where the silhouette is and as soon as she is sure who it is, she slowly walked towards the person who is soaking wet because of the heavy rain.

"Lisa." Jennie called out her name.

The other person didn't even look at her. She just sat there letting the rain drench her even more.

"What are you doing here? Why are you sitting here in the rain? You might get sick." Jennie looked worried at her, but she didn't even budge.

"Lisa, come on. You might get sick." The petite woman told her.

"Just let me be. I can take care of myself." Lisa muttered.

Jennie walked in front of her. She was taken aback by how gloomy the other person's face looked.

"Lis, what's going on with you? Come on. It's cold out here." She tried to convince the woman, but the latter just ignored her.

Jennie grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Then all of a sudden Lisa gave her a warm embrace.

"Is it supposed to be this hard? That no matter what I do, I'll never be a choice for you. I'm not even an option. If the one who asked you to come with her is Jisoo, would you have refused her as well?" Lisa whispered in her ears faintly, but she still managed to understand what she's saying.

"What are you talking about?" Jennie is confused on what Lisa meant.

"Nothing, it's not even worth the thought." Lisa smirked but Jennie didn't see it since she is still caged in the woman's arms.

"Come on Lis, you need to go home." Jennie tried to escape from her arms but she noticed that the woman is getting heavier.

"Lisa? Lisa? Are you okay?" Jennie tapped her back but the woman didn't get any response.

Lisa fell unconscious in her arms. They both fell on the ground while the heavy rains pour mercilessly.

"Lisa! Hey." Jennie continuously tapped the woman's cheek but it was to no avail. She didn't get even a slight response from the lanky woman.

She took Lisa's phone and dialed Butler Jo's number.

After a few rings Butler Jo finally answered the call. "Yes, Lady Lisa?"

"Butler Jo it's me, Jennie. I need your help, Lisa collapsed here in the park by the swing. Please hurry up." Jennie informed Butler Jo a little panicky.

"Okay Miss Jennie, please stay where you are. I'm sending some people." Butler Jo retorted.

Jennie cradled Lisa's head while they wait for help.

"Lisa, wake up. Hey, can you hear me?" She lightly caressed the woman's face.

After a few minutes, four mansion guards arrived and carried Lisa to the car still unconcious.

Jennie went with them since she is worried about the woman.

They arrived at the mansion in which Jennie hasn't set foot again since Jisoo's departure.

Butler Jo instructed the men to put Lisa on her bed and ordered the maids to change the woman's clothes while the family doctor followed them.

"Miss Jennie, you are drenched in rain as well. Why don't you change your clothes? You still have a lot of clothes in Lady Jisoo's closet. You can go inside and get changed." Butler Jo told her.

Jennie looked up where she saw Jisoo's bedroom door.

"Thank you Butler Jo." She said to the man as she slowly climbs the stairs to go to Jisoo's room.

Jennie slowly turned the doorknob of the deserted room. It has been quite some time since she last stepped inside that room.

She slowly made her way inside while her eyes wandered all over the room. Everywhere she looked, she could picture Jisoo being there.

When she closed her eyes, the memory of her with the woman inside that room flashes back as if it was just yesterday.

She made her way to Jisoo's walk-in closet and everything that the woman wore whenever they see each other is there.

She looked around and her eyes caught a familiar looking suit. Jisoo walked towards it and took it from being perfectly hanged.

She smiled when she remembered a certain memory.

"This is the suit that she wore during Niki's welcome party." She said to herself smiling, while she's recalling a certain memory of it.

"Miss Jennie, are you alright? Do you need any help?" She heard Butler Jo from outside the closet.

The woman quickly took the suit from the hanger and stepped outside the closet.

"Butler Jo, can I take this suit with me?" She showed the suit to Butler Jo.

Butler Jo looked at the suit then shifted his eyes at Jennie then nodded.

"Lady Kim doesn't wear the same clothes twice unless it is her favorite, so I guess you can go ahead and take it." Butler Jo permitted her.

She smiled from ear to ear while hugging Jisoo's suit.

"Thank you Butler Jo." She said to the man.

Butler Jo smiled and bowed to her.

"If you want to see Lady Lisa, she is in the room near the stairs." Butler Jo informed her then bowed again and left her.

Jennie hurriedly took a shower then get changed into a dress and placed Jisoo's suit in a paper bag.

Before exiting the room, she took a sticky note and a sharpie from Jisoo's study table.

Then she wrote:

"I was here and waiting for the day that you come back."

Then she drew a daisy on the bottom as her signature.

She then sticked the piece of paper beside the light switch inside the closet.

She smiled just thinking about Jisoo in the same room as her.

Jennie knocked on Lisa's bedroom door before entering.

There she saw the family doctor and Butler Jo talking to each other. Then the middle aged man noticed and gestured her to come closer.

The doctor bowed and left the room when he was finished talking to Butler Jo.

"What happened to her?" Jennie queried as she approached the bed where Lisa is laying.

"The doctor said she just had a high fever Miss Jennie, we'll have to monitor her every now and then since her body temperature is way too high." Butler Jo explained.

"So how did it go?" Butler Jo queried.

"Huh?" Jennie was dumbfounded by Butler Jo's question.

"How did the date go? She was so excited when she prepared the venue. Lady Lisa said she wanted it to be special for you, so she was so hands on during the preparation. She closed the rooftop restaurant of their hotel just so you two could enjoy the place alone. She even practiced a song for you, how was it? Did you got swoo

I agree with the comments. Jennie really didn't deserve Jisoo in this first book, she did nothing and just went along with Jisoo whenever it is convenient.

Chapter 72: Jensoo final is what everyone wanted, but still upset with jennie doing absolutely nothing for it to happen, i still think jennie does not love jisoo as much as jisoo loves her. These last chapters were too far run, chaelisa's passion happened out of nowhere. Everything was solved out of nowhere too, the bastard brother and mother witch have not been solved, I would like at least a few chapters to see the life of married and the witch getting screwed

I agree with the comments that Jennie didn't deserve Jisoo at all. She did almost nothing the whole fic and didn't even cut off her suitors.
