Jisoo's POV

"Happy Birthday Lady Jisoo." Everyone greeted me as soon as I entered the venue.

Everyone is dressed nicely for the event. I saw the Ambassador talking to the witch. I saw a lot of people inside but I don't even know most of them.

Then a very familiar couple approached me from behind.

"Happy birthday Jisoo." President Park and his wife greeted me.

I smiled and bowed to them. "Thank you."

I haven't noticed their daughter in the venue yet, I looked around but she's nowhere to be seen.

"Are you looking for Roseanne?" Mrs. Park queried.

"Huh?" I was caught off guard by her sudden question.

Tss. Why would I be looking for her? I'm just glad that she's nowhere near me.

"She'll be here in a moment Jisoo." Mrs. Park uttered.

I chuckled awkwardly at her.

Then I heard the Ambassador called the attention of the couple.

"Excuse us Jisoo, Mr. Ambassador is calling us." President Park uttered.

I smiled and bowed to them, then they finally left me alone.

Ah! Where is Jennie? She should be here by now.

Then Lisa entered the room and like what they did to me, they greeted her also as she makes her way to where I am standing.

My sister smiled to them in return. She kept her bright smile as she stood beside me.

"Where is Jennie?" I asked her.

Lisa kept on waiving and smiling at the guests.

"Smile sister, people are looking at us. She'll be here any moment now." Lisa uttered while maintaining her toothy smile.

Then a group of photographers approached us with their cameras.

"Please smile for the camera Ladies!" One of the photographer requested.

I went along with it and smiled at the camera. Then I heard a couple of people talking behind us.

"Oh my gosh, are they really the Kim sisters?!" One of the women queried.

"Yes they are! Oh my gosh they are really a hundred times prettier in person. Should we take a photo with them?" Another woman uttered.

"I wish my dad would make a deal with K&M so that I can be married to one of them." The other woman said.

Huh! You wish! I would never marry someone just for the benefit of the company. Aish! What's taking her so long?

"Lisa! Happy birthday man! Oh hey, Happy birthday Jisoo long time no see!" Wendy approached us.

"Khali, Achy... I want you to meet the Kim twins." Wendy introduced the two women with her.

"I'll leave you guys to talk." I excused myself.

I sat alone at the table and ordered a glass of wine while looking at the door, waiting for Jennie to enter the room.

"You look stunning tonight." Rosé uttered. I didn't notice that she just sat beside me.

I did not even bother looking at her and still kept my eyes on the door.

"Aren't you going to look at me and compliment me back?" She said to me.

Just looking at her makes my blood boil. She's the reason why Jennie is mad at me.

"Can't you see that I'm busy?" I told her.

"Busy? Doing what? Looking at the door?" Rosé retorted.

Jeez! This woman is really the best at getting under my skin!

"Yes, I'm busy looking at the door. Now can you please leave me alone? You're ruining my evening." I told her bluntly hoping that she'll leave me alone.

"Tss. Fine, I'll leave you alone." She retorted.

Rosé stood up and took her purse. Then out of nowhere she leaned in behind me and whispered in my ear.

"Happy birthday babe." She greeted me and all of a sudden she kissed me on my cheek then left.

I heard the women on the other table gasped when they saw what Rosé did. 

"Ah!" I wiped the spot where she kissed. She really got the nerve of steel.

Then everybody's attention diverted to the stage when the host started speaking in front.

"Good evening everybody! I am Jung Hae-In, and I am the host of this event for tonight." The host introduced himself.

I heard the women on the other table murmured again.

"Oh my gosh it's Hae-In! I love his dramas! Girls, we really have to take a picture with him later!" One of the women said.

Tss. I don't even know who that guy is. I looked at my watch then back to the door.

"Ah! What's taking her so long?"

Lisa sat near me, then the Parks including Rosé and the witch filled the empty seats in front of me.

The program went on but I didn't pay any attention to it because I am busy looking around for Jennie.

"Soo." Lisa nudged me then smiled and stood up.

"Huh?" I looked up at her, wondering what's going on.

"Let's go to the stage." She told me.

"Oh, right." I followed her and all eyes are on us.

I got a perfect view of everybody when I went up the stage.

I scanned the place but I can't still see her.

"Where is Jennie?" I subtly asked my sister.

"She's already here." Lisa replied.

Huh? But I can't find her. Does she really look that good that I didn't recognize her right away?

I kept on searching for her in the crowd when the giant cake arrived.

"Let's sing happy birthday to them everyone!" The host encouraged everybody as he sat by the piano and started playing it.

"Happy birthday to you..." They all sang in unison.

Lisa kept a bright smile on her face as everybody sang.

Then after searching the place for so long I finally saw her. She looked magnificently beautiful tonight.

She's sitting at the back with that annoying guy named Kai, and Soojin with her in one table. Lisa must've invited them too.

"Happy birthday to you... Ladies please make a wish and blow the candles!" The host told us.

Lisa and I looked at each other and smiled then we blew the candle together.
