Jennie was reaching out for her phone when she heard the vibrating noise on top of the bedside table.

"Hello?" She answered the call not even looking at her phone as to who is calling.

"Jennie, it's me Kai. Where are you?" The man from the other line queried.

"Oh, I just woke up. Why?" She asked him lazily.

"Oh okay, how about I bring you some breakfast in bed so that we can eat together?" She quickly got up from the bed when she heard what Kai just said.

"It's— it's fine Kai, I'll just go take a shower then head out to the restaurant okay? We'll just see each other there."

At the restaurant...

When she went inside the place, Jennie saw Kai waving enthusiastically at her. He is sitting across Soojin who is busy eating her hearty breakfast.

"Jen! Come, sit here." Kai stood up and pulled out a chair for her.

She gladly obliged to his offer and sat there, he waved at the waitress who is standing at the side of the dining hall.

"Sir?" The lady approached him.

"The menu please. My future wife right here wants to eat." He said to the waitress who shifted her gaze from him to Jennie.

The lady smiled as she politely asked them to wait. "I'll just get the menu sir."

While they waited for the waitress, somebody came out of nowhere and smacked the back of the man's head.

"Oww!" Kai turned to look for the cause of his slight distress, while he scratched the back of his head.

"Oh, sorry my hand just accidentally landed on your head. I guess they just doesn't like stupid, assuming, ugly monkeys around." Jisoo explained sarcastically with a straight face while looking at her hands.

"What did you say?!" Kai was about to stand up, when Jennie quickly grabbed his arm to stop him from possibly attacking Jisoo.

The latter looked down just to see Jennie's hand holding the man's arm tightly. She shifted her gaze at Jennie who is looking back at her too.

Jisoo then continued walking pass by them, not even taking another glance.

"She must've waken up on the wrong side of the bed."  Soojin broke the silence between the three of them.

"Maybe." Jennie answered short while following her gaze to Jisoo's direction.

After a few moments, Lisa entered the place and walked towards the table where Jennie and her friends are.

"Good morning Lisa!" Soojin greeted her.

She just smiled as she approached the table, then she sat next to Soojin opposite to the petite woman.

"Jen?" Her best friend noticed that Jennie is looking down, bowing her head as if she is avoiding something.

"Hmm?" Jennie answered short.

"Lisa is here." She cupped her hands around and whispered as if Lisa couldn't hear them.

Then Jennie started to look up slowly just to see Lisa smiling at her while her cheeks rested on her hands with both elbow on top of the table.

"Jen." Her smile even grew bigger when Jennie's eyes met hers.

Her face turned red as soon as she saw how Lisa smiled at her. The staring game went on for a while, when Soojin broke out the silence again.

"Aren't we going on a tour around the island today?" She said while nudging Lisa from the side.

Jen quickly shifted her gaze at Soojin, wide eyed.

"What?" Her best friend innocently asked.

Lisa seemed to understand what's happening, so she took out her phone and called somebody.

"Butler Lee, please prepare the open-top double decker bus. Yes... tell the driver to pick us up at the entrance going to the overwater villas... 30 minutes? Okay... Thank you." She then dropped the call, and put her phone down on the table.

"The bus will pick us up at the entrance going to the villas in 30 minutes. So I suggest you go on and prepare while waiting for the time." Lisa announced.

"Jen, let's go!" Soojin ran around the table to Jennie's side and grabbed her by the hand.

"Okay." The two women left in a hurry leaving Lisa and Kai alone at the same table.

"We didn't formally introduced each other... I'm Lisa." She stood up and reached out her hand to Kai for a handshake.

The latter reached out for Lisa's hand as well. "Kai Kim, Jennie's future husband." He smiled from ear to ear while shaking the woman's hand.

Lisa raised an eyebrow when she heard Kai utter those words with confidence.

"Well goodluck with that." Lisa smirked at him and left.

They were all waiting for the bus to pick them up at the entrance of the overwater villas. Thirty minutes may seem like a short preparation time for the ladies, but they are just too excited for this tour that they didn't even mind not putting on their usual light makeup.

"The bus is here." Lisa announced.

They all went up and sat at the open-top double deck. Soojin appears to be looking for something, she just couldn't sit still. Her eyes were wandering all over the place.

"What is it Soojin?" Jennie looked at her best friend with her confused expression.

"Isn't Jisoo coming with us?" Soojin queried.

"I don't know. Try asking Lisa." Jennie suggested.

Her best friend just nodded and stood up then approached Lisa who is sitting at the back alone leaving Jennie by herself.

"Lisa." Soojin sat beside her.

"Hmm?" She turned her head to look at her.

"Is Jisoo coming with us?" Soojin queried.

Lisa just nodded and pointed her index finger to the front. Soojin shifted her gaze from Lisa to the front, and there she saw Jisoo just casually walking on the bus and sat next to Jennie.

Soojin

I agree with the comments. Jennie really didn't deserve Jisoo in this first book, she did nothing and just went along with Jisoo whenever it is convenient.

Chapter 73: JenSoo and ChaeLisa

Chapter 72: Jensoo final is what everyone wanted, but still upset with jennie doing absolutely nothing for it to happen, i still think jennie does not love jisoo as much as jisoo loves her. These last chapters were too far run, chaelisa's passion happened out of nowhere. Everything was solved out of nowhere too, the bastard brother and mother witch have not been solved, I would like at least a few chapters to see the life of married and the witch getting screwed

I agree with the comments that Jennie didn't deserve Jisoo at all. She did almost nothing the whole fic and didn't even cut off her suitors.

Chapter 73: Honestly Jennie didn't deserve her at all.
But JenSoo endgame is what we all want. Jensewers are petty like that.

And Lia from itzy right? I swear we have adopted Lia. Like yes, she's what you expect JenSoo morph to be
