Jisoo picked up her phone and dialed Butler Jo's number. 

"Butler Jo... I want you to go to Jennie's house, tell her parents that their daughter will be staying here for tonight." Jisoo ordered the man.

A few hours later...

Jennie slightly shifted her position as she slowly opened her eyes.

She woke up laying on an expensive couch, covered with the blanket that she last remembered is the one she used to cover Jisoo when the latter was asleep.

The bathroom door clicks and the other person came out with crutches supporting herself to walk.

"Oh, you're awake. Hungry? I'll order some food." Jisoo stopped by the bathroom door when she saw Jennie sitting on the couch looking at her still in a daze.

Jennie's eyes grew wide then she looked away from the other person and covered her eyes.

Jisoo's eyebrows furrowed, wondering what's wrong with Jennie.

"What?" She queried innocently.

Jennie yelled. "Why aren't you wearing a shirt?!"

Jisoo looked down. "Ah this? Heh! I just showered, I was going to get a shirt in my closet but you already saw me. I am wearing a bra though, it's not like you don't have the same thing as I do."

Jisoo walked towards her walk-in closet with the help of her crutches. Jennie removed her hand from covering her eyes and slightly sneaks a peek at the other person.

Jennie gulped when she saw the shirtless Jisoo moving closer since the walk-in closet is just near the couch where she's sitting on.

The latter noticed her flushed face and walked closer to Jennie's direction. 

"What's with that face?" Jisoo smirked upon seeing Jennie's reaction.

"Could you please wear a shirt?!" The latter reprimanded her.

"Why? Too hot to handle?" She winked at Jennie and chuckled.

"Eww! No! Ugh! Just wear a shirt, you're hurting my eyes." Jennie rolled her eyes at Jisoo.

"Well that must be a beautiful kind of pain." Jisoo jested as she took her shirt from the closet.

Jennie grabbed her phone from the table. She gasped upon seeing the time.

"Oh no! Mom and dad must've been looking for me it's almost evening." Jennie quickly jumped out of the couch and was about to take the paper bag with food containers in it, but Jisoo grabbed her hand and stopped her from collecting her things. "Don't worry, I already sent Butler Jo to your house to inform them that you'll be staying here for the night."

"What?!" Jennie scoffed in disbelief.

Jisoo just raised her eyebrows and smirked at the woman.

"Your girlfriend needs you here right now, so you need to stay here with me." Jisoo sat on the couch and looked up to Jennie who is glaring at her.

"Ugh! But you don't need any assistance at all. You can call your maids they'll take care of you." The latter complained.

Jisoo took Jennie's left hand and brought it to her cheek. "You don't need to do much, your presence alone can alleviate the pain."

Jennie blushed upon hearing those words. "Um... Uh... I need to go out for a minute. It's getting hot in here, aren't you feeling hot?"

Jisoo smirked. "I'm immune with my own hotness. So no, I'm not feeling hot."

The other woman rolled her eyes upon hearing Jisoo's comment. "Ugh! I really need to get out of here for a minute while I'm still sane."

She got out of Jisoo's room and went downstairs. Jennie is roaming the mansion until she found herself standing by the door with the pool and the small dock in sight. She decided to walk to the dock and sat at the edge with her feet hanging above the water. Jennie just sat there looking at the lake in front of her, she closed her eyes to feel the evening breeze as it swept through her hair.

"Stupid Jennie." She whispered to herself and smiled.

"Trouble with Jisoo?" A familiar voice is approaching from behind.

Jennie turned her head and saw Lisa walking towards her. 

"Lisa... Hi... Um... What brings you here?" Jennie queried.

Lisa smiled at the woman and sat down beside her. "I should be the one asking you that question."

Jennie was flustered with Lisa's response. "Oh yeah, right. Um... I just want some fresh air." She lightly scratched the back of her ear while chuckling uncomfortably.

"Is my sister giving you a hard time?" Lisa queried as she leaned back with both of her hands supporting her upper body weight.

"Jisoo? Um... A little. But let's be realistic here, she's been giving me a hard time ever since forever. There's nothing new about it." Jennie chuckled.

Lisa just showed her a faint smile. "Then what made you stick with her?"

The petite woman was taken aback with Lisa's sudden question. "Huh?"

The lanky woman shifted her gaze to Jennie. "Why Jisoo?"

Jennie is confused with Lisa's out of the blue questions.

"I'm a little too late." She mumbled.

Jennie still can't figure out what the other person is talking about.

"If only I've been back a little sooner... That could've been me." Lisa mumbled and smiled a little.

Jennie lightly nudged her on the side. "Hey, what are you talking about? Did something happen?"
