The next morning...

"Good morning baby!" Rosé greeted Jisoo the moment that the woman opened her eyes.

The latter groaned. "What are you doing here this early in the morning?" Jisoo uttered as she turned her back at the silver-haired woman and closed her eyes back to sleep.

"I brought you breakfast." The woman uttered.

"Ah... You could've at least called me before coming here." Jisoo murmured.

"Why do I need to call you first? I'm your girlfriend, and I always come here every morning for your breakfast. Why are you acting so annoyed at me?" Rosé pouted her lips.

Jisoo turned to look at her. "Ah... Fine, sorry. I didn't have a decent sleep last night."

The silver-haired woman leaned in to her and put her arms on both sides of Jisoo's head using her elbows for support, face hovering over the woman. She looked into Jisoo's eyes intently.

"And why is that?" Rosé queried.

"Just... Thinking about stuff." Jisoo tried to look away but she can't.

"I thought you're going to send those two off to the airport, good thing you didn't do that because you might end up fighting with your sister again." Rosé uttered while looking at the woman below her.

"Send who off?" What the silver-haired woman just said caught Jisoo's full attention.

"Lisa and her girlfriend. They're going back to Bangkok this morning."

"What?" Jisoo looked surprised and pushed the woman off of her. She hurriedly went to her closet to change her clothes, not even bothering to choose her outfit. She took what her hands first touched.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Rosé yelled.

"Sorry but I'm in a hurry." Jisoo said to her while putting on her shoes then took her car key and wallet.

"Jisoo!" The woman called her, but just in no time Jisoo is out of her sight already.

She slammed the door leaving Rosé alone inside her hotel room.

While waiting for the elevator she texted Jennie.

To: Jennie 🖤

Where are you? What are you doing?

She quickly entered the elevator and pressed the ground floor button.

Jisoo took a quick stop at the reception area before going out of the hotel.

"How long has it been since Lisa Kim checked out?" She asked the receptionist.

"Miss Lisa and the woman with her left about an hour ago Ma'am." The receptionist informed her.

"An hour ago?" Jisoo quickly ran to her car and hurriedly stepped on the gas pedal.

She would check her phone every now and then to see if Jennie replied, but there is no message from the woman.

"Ah! Why won't she answer her phone?!" Jisoo slammed her hand on the steering wheel repeatedly out of frustration.

A few moments later, her phone beeped. It is the message that she's been waiting for.

At the airport, I'm boarding the plane we're going back to Bangkok.

"She's already boarding the plane?!" Jisoo stepped on the accelerator, trying to arrive at the airport quicker just to see Jennie before she goes back to Bangkok.

Her phone rang all of a sudden, and Jisoo answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

"Jisoo! Where do you think you're go—" She immediately dropped the call when she heard Rosé's voice. 

"Ugh! Even her voice is annoying." Jisoo uttered, then she focused back on driving.

After a few minutes Jisoo arrived at the airport. She drove straight to the runway hoping that the plane haven't taken off yet.

Her car was stopped by the airport security so she went out of her vehicle and showed him her ID. While the security is checking her identification card, Jisoo saw their private jet getting ready for take off as it slowly moved to the middle of the runway.

"Wai—wait! Ah! You can keep that! I got a girl to find!" She yelled and sprinted towards the direction of the private jet.

"Ma'am wait!" The security ran after her.

"Jennie!" Jisoo yelled while running as fast as she can before the plane starts to accelerate.

"Ma'am! That is very dangerous, stop!" The security personnel kept on calling her while running.

"Jennie!" Jisoo persistently screamed at the top of her lungs trying her best to catch up to the aircraft.

But before she could even get anywhere near, the jet started to accelerate on the runway and took off.

"Jennie!" Jisoo screamed one last time before she stopped to catch her breath.

Her knees collapsed underneath her. She sat helplessly on the asphalt while looking at the ascending aircraft from afar.

"Ma'am, I need you to come with me." The security personnel grabbed Jisoo's arm.

She harshly shook off the security personnel's grip.

"Get your hands off me." Jisoo uttered and glared at the man.

"Ma'am, I need you to cooperate and come with me." The security personnel insisted and grabbed Jisoo by the arm again.

She swiftly shakes off the grip once more and shoved the security personnel.

Jisoo pointed at him. "Touch me one more time and I'll make sure that this will be your last day on the job." Jisoo warned the man and walked back to her car.

She is on her way back to the hotel when Chief Jung called her.

"What is it?" Jisoo answered.

"Lady Jisoo, Madame President wants you to attend the board meeting today." Chief Jung told her.

"I'm not in the mood
