“Hoya oppa, I’m tired...” Seo Mi complained as they just got off their flight back from Japan.

“I know, but let’s hang out.” Hoya said.

“What do you want to do?” She asked him.

“Can we just go to a park?” He asked her.

“Sure.” Seo Mi took his hand and let him lead the way. She had a hat on and Hoya made sure not to wear any signature purple and to wear a hat to cover his eyebrows. He also had sunglasses on too.

A drop fell on Seo Mi’s arm and she felt him pull her into his chest, before the storm came. It poured harder as they continued walking towards the trees.

“It’s pouring...” Seo Mi whined softly, the managers didn’t want them getting sick anymore. Their schedules would be backed up, that’s why.

“I know, let’s get to the park, the trees are thick so if we stand under them, then we will feel less drops.” Hoya said as he pulled her underneath the thickest one.

Since the water was getting caught through all the branches and leaves, nothing really dripped onto them. Hoya had Seo Mi still pulled to his chest as he tried to keep her warm.

Hoya sang softly, brushing his hands over Seo Mi’s arms, trying to make the goosebumps on her skin go away.

His hands reached her chin, as his fingers gently lifted her chin up to meet his eyes. Seo Mi was shaking, from what, she wasn’t sure.

She had never been this close to Hoya before, not like this. This felt different, the atmosphere around them felt heavier, thicker, and yet lighter and gone.

Hoya leaned in closer as he closed his eyes, before Seo Mi could realize what was happening, his lips were against hers.

He had soft lips, she thought. This was different from all the thoughts of everyone else, she knew what the fan girls thought of Hoya, and no one ever considered him to be gentle.

And yet, in this moment, he was.

Their mouths remained closed against each other until Hoya prodded gently, opening her lips but not inserting his tongue.

His moves were so hesitant, it was as if he was afraid of hurting her. Seo Mi was scared to respond, but after Hoya kept his gentle pace, she moved her lips in rhythm to his.

When he felt like she would run out of air from not breathing, he pulled away. Seo Mi was breathing heavily as her lungs filled with oxygen once more.

She buried her face into Hoya’s chest in embarrassment, “Sorry,” He chuckled, “I’ve always wanted to do that.” He said.

She shook her head, “Mmm..” 

“Next time, when you remember to breathe I won’t stop.” Hoya warned.

“What.” She looked at him with wide eyes.

“I’m just kidding. Besides, I still have to wait for the perfect moment to ask you. I just wanted to kiss you in the rain.” Hoya smirked.

“I should have stopped you. You haven’t even asked me to your girlfriend yet.” Seo Mi sighed.

“Hey, but it’s already a yes, when I do ask.” Hoya nudged her as the sun came out.

“If you think so.” Seo Mi teased.

Hoya leaned in close again, “Do you need me to explain to you why it’s a yes?” He looked down at her lips before meeting her eyes again with a grin on his face.

Seo Mi flushed before shaking her head furiously.

“That’s what I thought.” He grinned, taking her hand, “Come on, let’s get you back to your dorm and into warm clothes.” He said, leading her out of the park.
