“I just got a call from JYP.”

“Was he happy?”

“Haha yeah anyway, he wants us to go back to school for the competition to judge.”

“What!? Just after you come back? Do you know how many people will take notice of the back from the dead Amber?” I will admit Chris was right but she didn’t have to explain it like that.

“It’s bosses orders, anyway I want to do it, and I want to see the look on Yunho’s face.”

“We can just act mysterious and just don’t talk to anyone.”

“Hahaha, what did Siwon tell everyone else? That we disappeared because of family problems relating to Donghae and stuff?”

“Ok let’s do it!” Hm, wasn’t she like worried for me just 10sec ago?

I texted JYP after.

Me: ‘Hello Sir, Chris and I have agreed on the task.’

JYP: ‘Perfect, it’s on tomorrow, Siwon will pick you guys up at 7.00pm.’

Me: ‘Okay thank you.’

Well I guess I’m booked tomorrow. I went to the kitchen as I smelt some food cooking as the sound of meat sizzling grabbed my attention.

“Smells so good.” I say while all heads turn towards me.

“We are reheating some of the food, Victoria unnie is cooking kimchi stew while Taeyeon unnie grills the meat. It will be ready soon in about 10-15min.” Seohyun says.

I smiled and nodded as a reply. I analyzed the area to see who’s doing what. Seohyun and Yoona are setting up the plates. I can see Yoona taking a few glances over at Yuri who was in a better mood, thank god. Jessica keeps trying to help Taeyeon but she’s not really accepting her help at all. Hm, this is very interesting.

“Yoona…” I hear a small whisper that got caught in the small second of silence from Seohyun.

I realized that Yoona started glaring at Jessica’s actions who just clung on Taeyeon. Taengsic seems a bit awkward today.

“Chris~” I wave at her to come towards me.

“Yeah, what?”

“Let’s see what the problem is with the whole Yoona, Yuri, Jessica and so on thing.

“Huh, you crazy!” I quickly dragged her to the other room where it was more private.

“Okay let me rephrase that, let’s try talk to Yoona and Jessica just to help them take a step in the right direction.”

“Tsk, tsk, fine, I’ll take Jessica then.”

“Okay then.” We make our way back to the kitchen.

“Smells good Victoria!” I say while walking up to them.

“Thanks, Amber!” She smiles brightly.

I made my way towards Yoona who try to occupy herself but she still ended up doing nothing.

“Yoona sshi? Can we talk for a while?”

“Huh? Oh uh sure I guess…”

“Okay, come with me.” I walk towards the top of the staircase and sit on the tallest step.

I never been upstairs and I don’t plan to now anyway but it seems quite peaceful here since everyone else is either talking, cooking or cleaning downstairs.

“So? What do you want to talk about?”

“The fact that the tension in this house is not suitable for all of us, it needs to stop.” I had to go straight to the point.

“…” She doesn’t say anything.

“Yoona…you can talk to me, I know what’s going on between you, Jessica and Yuri.” I notice her head tilt back up while staring at me.

Yoona was amazed that Amber already knew. She expected her to know either tomorrow or after that since Amber just came back.

“I know, don’t worry and don’t hesitate, just talk comfortably.” Yoona actually started to feel comfortable with Amber’s words.

The fact that Yoona actually wanted to be closer with Amber right from the start when she got worried when Amber suddenly clenched her shirt where her heart was and saw her necklace glowed. Amber was too blind to notice that, she moved on quite easily as she saw the same charm from Yuri not long after.
