I am now in complete shock. How did she manage to go through to the finals? The documents within the file were all evidence of her coming in the top 5 for the events. It even says she came first in the singing and dancing event that I also participated in. I guess people still don’t know that we originally won.

“Check out Mika’s.” Chris takes Nikki’s folder.

I didn’t expect much from Mika since she wasn’t chosen to get the lead advantage by participating in the sing and dancing event. Turns out she came either second or third. I know Nikki came first from most of them but who was the other person or people that came first.

“Jeez, we better sit down and act neutral before people start piling up.”

“Yeah true…” Chris sits down first while I follow.

One by one, we hear voices entering the PAC. My mind was thinking all sorts of things. Will they recognize us? Will they ask us any questions? What will they do if they found out? As I watched them come through, I definitely remember some faces. Fangirls who followed me around school and some classmates.

“Don’t stare too much.” I hear Chris mutter softly so I could hear.

I changed my sight to the stage while I eagerly wait for the two to come out. I’m surprised no one sees me as the Amber Liu who got shot. They must be very dumb especially the ones that call themselves the ‘true’ fans of F4. Chris seems to be doing well, not caring about her surroundings. It didn’t last long when she finally turned to see someone walking through the door.

“Oh god…” I whisper seeing Minho and Key looking really sad.

I noticed that no girls are talking to them. I guess F4 was dead as soon as we left. They sat themselves at the back where they can lay back on the wall. I also noticed Domo and Nancy walk through the doors. It has been a long time, Nancy…I guess they became friends after we left. Ariel and Jesse were even walking behind them.

“Okay guys, time for the finals. We have two judges who came along way which I appreciate to judge the final round. Give it up for the opening act from Mika.” Siwon hosts.

I picked up my pen and took a deep breath. I never thought I would judge the competition I was part of that meant a lot to me. I remember how nervous and excited I was for this competition. Sigh*

Hm, she is singing Hurricane, B.A.P eh? I guess the song choice is not so bad. I looked over at Chris who seems to be busy writing down stuff and hardly looking up. I think she could feel herself being watched as she slowly looked up to me.

‘Yes?’ She gestures using your head.

‘What you doing?’ I reply by moving my head weirdly.’

‘Look.’ I take a glimpse of what she wrote.

Scratch that, I took a glimpse of what she drew. I saw her draw Mika in a weird pose. She must be so bored watching her. Honestly I also think this is boring but I honestly find this interesting even though this is a typical performance of a KPOP song.

‘Nice’ I give a thumbs up and continue to watch.

I only watched it for another 5 or so seconds before she finished. God we should not be judges for this competition even again. I don’t even know what to write.

‘Good song choice, 6/10.’ I mentally laugh before Nikki comes on stage.

Oh snap, she is singing Take A Shot, Hotshot. I can actually see a lot of work put on this piece. Still doesn’t change the fact that she is a total . I wonder what her reaction would be if she knew I was judge 1. Pfft I would love to beat her up but really I should probably beat up her father most of all. Yunho…

‘Nice dance, 6/10.’ My thinking was interrupted when I hear an applause from the audience.

I know now that this will be the last performance for tonight. A duet together.
