“AMBER! CHRIS!” I slowly open my eyes.

“We are at Chris’s parent’s house, Amber your mother is here too so you guys better say hi before I drop you back to the mansion.”

“Ah…okay, okay.” Chris and Jiyeon must have gotten some shut eye too.

Krystal and Jiyeon stayed in the car since this was something private that Chris and I had to sort out. The pressure of being in front of my mother after knowing that she had nearly lost her only daughter. Sigh*

“You ready?” Chris says, bumping my shoulder as we arrive on the door step.

“Let’s do it.” I rang the doorbell.

The door opened within a second, surprising me and Chris.

“AMBER!” I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist tightly.

“Sh..I can’t br..eathe.”

“OMO SORRY HONEY.” It was my mother.

“Mom…” I feel her hands cup my cheeks.

“Amber…my Amber, how are you feeling, the news said..”

“Yeah I know,  it’s true of the injuries but it’s okay now.” I cup my mom’s face.

“I’m better now, you don’t have to worry anymore, you see, I’m happy, good as new.”

“It’s good then, Aish be careful next time.”

“Yes mom.”

“Aigoo, is that you Amber?” I hear Auntie well Chris’s mom from the back.

“Yes it’s me Auntie.” I wave at her.

“Aigoo you’re okay, what a miracle.”

“Ya mom, I’m your daughter here.” Chris says while pouting.

“Ah, come on Liu let’s take them inside.” Auntie says to my mom.

We walked into Chris’s house, it seems to be tidy as usual. I wonder why we moved out at the first place. Oh right…to be more ‘independent.’ Jeez, I don’t even know if I can manage seeing my mom left alone now. I mean I did visit her a lot when I moved out. She visited too and even had gatherings with Chris.

“The news said you saved Krystal, how is she?”

“She’s good, did you guys keep in contact when I was in Jeguk.”

“Omo I just told her to keep an eye on you. When you left, a lot of your old friends came over and asked where you were and they suggested to look after me, haha, I told them that you had to leave for circumstances. That girl Nancy really wanted to see you after you left a message or something, or deactivating Facebook.”

“Hahahaha.” Chris starts to chuckle

“Oh man, what about you Auntie?”

“Uh, some fangirls came, oh Amber’s ex-girlfriend came, I think her name was Tracey?”

“Tracey!? Oh god, she didn’t say anything right?” Chris worriedly asks.

“I think she got over Amber pretty easily, she was really worried about you.”

“Oh god…” I chuckle at Chris.

“You two better go now, I know your ride is waiting for you. Please don’t forget to visit us.”

“Yes mom~” We say at the same time.

“I’m thinking of moving in with Amber’s mom. Will that be okay for the both of you?”

“Oh yes please, it’s great that you two will have each other’s company.” I say while walking towards the door.

“What about this house?” Chris asks

“Sell it la.” Chris pouted but agreed as she also wanted those two to have each other’s company.

“We will talk about this later, now go before I kick you guys out.”

“Yes mom.”

“Yes Auntie.”

We waved at them while walking back to the limo. I took a deep breath while entering.

“Did it go as plan?” Krystal asks me.

“Of course.” I grin at her.

“Okay, next stop, the mansion.” Siwon says making a U-turn.

It wasn’t long before we were in front of the mansion. I always get amazed by how big it is. It feels like it was only yesterday that I came here after that taekwondo thing at school.

As the 4 get out of the limo, Siwon made sure that they safely got in before he left to school. Since he was only a manager or a driver to Amber and Chris at certain times, his other job was going undercover as a teacher. The atmosphere was terrible like always. Students weren’t as bright after hearing about Amber’s death and Chris also heavily injured. Siwon was still surprised that no one has heard of Yoon Se Na’s debut song that both Amber and Chris sang.

“Mr Choi..” Siwon turns around.

“Ah Key, Minho did you guys want something?”

“Do you think the police will capture Amber’s murderer?” Key says with his head hung low.

“I’m pretty sure they will.” Siwon pats their heads and leave to the staff room.

“Ah, Choi Siwon.” Siwon’s smile turned into a frown as an idea popped in his head.

“Yunho…what do you want?”

“Nothing I mean did you hear that terrible news of Amber and Crystal? My my..so sad.” Siwon knew that Yunho didn’t give a with his sarc
