YG releases statement regarding rumors of 2NE1

YG Entertainment has taken steps to release an official statement regarding the recent changes in 2NE1 member Minzy‘s Instagram & Twitter which sparked speculations on 2NE1’s disbandment.

With recent leaving incidents of Girls’ Generation, MBLAQ, and other idol members, 2NE1 has garnered attention as well for possible rumored issues. On October 17th, a YG Entertainment representative revealed in a statement to TenAsia, “2NE1’s disbandment is a ridiculous story.”

The story sparked when Minzy changed her Instagram ID from “minzy21mz” to “minzy_mz” and removed “2NE1″ from her profile.

Currently, Minzy has changed her accounts to private view and changed her ID back to how it was. Meanwhile, 2NE1 is maintaining their busy schedules on “ALL OR NOTHING” world tour.

Chapter 846: I'm sorry to say, but this is such a shady situation. Like- I realize that netizens can be malicious and are sometimes crazy, but this kinda issue isn't something that you can make up on the spot. Either it's true(or at least partially true), or there are some majorly outrageous people that have it out for her.
