BTOB’s Yook Sungjae has been receiving many love calls from all around the entertainment industry recently as he is given yet another opportunity to explore, appearing in a special episode of MBC’s “Real Men”.

Korean news source Herald Corp released exclusive news on September 24th, revealing that BTOB’smaknae Sungjae is in talks of joining in an episode of the hot and trending army variety show “Real Men”.

Following ZE:A’s Park Hyungsik and Henry’s departure from the show, there was also a special edition broadcast series of “Real Men” featuring female celebrities, with BTOB’s labelmate G.NA and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri receiving much attention from the show.

"Real Men" is based on the army, where the celebrity recruits in the show go through army training, simulating the experience South Korean men go through while serving their country for two years. If Sungjae joins the variety show as a recruit, he might be the youngest member on "Real Men," as he is only 19 years old this year. Will he then follow the footsteps of "Baby Soldier" Park Hyungsik? It is also questionable if he will be able to endure the tough army training with his young age and busy schedules.

If BTOB’s Sungjae were to take up this project, he would probably the busiest member of the group. Indeed, the whole group is currently busy for their September 29th comeback with “MOVE”, but Sungjae has the most projects on hand right now. Besides having the chance to be an MC for several shows earlier this year and forming a special unit with GOT7 and VIXX members, his latest participation in the acting and singing of drama OST for “Plus Nine Boys” has gained lots of attention.

It is definitely not easy to survive in the Korean entertainment industry, as it requires you to be an all-rounder; to sing well on stage, act well in dramas and be entertaining on variety shows.

Moon Heejun (whom Sungjae had been MCs together with) and Yoo Joonsang have already been confirmed to guest in “Real Men“‘s special episode.
