SM Entertainment has released a statement denying that f(x) Luna is in a relationship, after photos began spreading online.

Media outlet The Fact reported on the story initially, with two photos showing f(x) Luna with another male. The two were spotted in Hongjae, laughing and waiting for a bus together. Luna’s friend was seen with his arm around her shoulder, and showing other skinship. 

The two were not attempting to hide their friendship or themselves in public. Those who saw them in public said they looked very close, and appeared to be on a date.

SM Entertainment revealed in a statement that the two were just friends. A representative said, “Luna was on her way to church that morning, and the man with her is a close childhood friend. They attend church together, and he is not her boyfriend. From what we know, she does not have a boyfriend.
