YMC Entertainment revealed through a press release that Ailee has been preparing for her US debut since 2013. The company also uploaded a photo of Ailee with producer Shea Taylor on Twitter. 

In a statement, YMC Entertainment revealed, “Ailee has been working with Shea Taylor, and we have been continuously preparing with famous producers since 2013 for [her] US debut. The producers we’ve worked with are very optimistic about Ailee’s US advancement, and would like to proceed right away, but as it is a very large and difficult market, we are being very careful.”

YMC Entertainment uploaded a photo to Twitter showing that Ailee has been working with Shea Taylor. Shea Taylor is currently a producer at Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s company, and has worked with major artists like Chris Brown, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Neyo.

Shea Taylor has also been nominated for a Grammy Award for Beyonce’s track, “Love on Top” and “Run the World”. He has also won a ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) award.
