EXO-M’s Lay is the first member to break his silence, leaving a message of support and love towards Luhan immediately after news broke of his lawsuit. 

In a message on Weibo, he posted, "Hyung, goodbye. If we have the chance, let’s share a stage together again. As a brother, I support your every decision, good luck."

SM Entertainment stock has dropped considerably with news of the lawsuit emerging, hitting a 1-year low. 

SM Entertainment has also been under a lot of controversy, with EXO Kris’s lawsuit against the agency four months ago, f(x) Sulli’s sudden hiatus following a confirmation of her relationship with Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, and most recently, the withdrawal of Jessica from Girls’ Generation.
