Following the heartbreaking news of the death of SM Entertainment founder Lee Sooman’s wife, various artists within the company have expressed their condolences for the tragic passing. Adding onto the list is previous SM artist Brian Joo, who is still currently promoting successfully under Fly to the Sky.

Just a few days following the passing, Brian Joo posted on his official Twitter, “Just hearing about the news on the passing of my old record label president’s wife :( My heart is in pain for him….” as well as a link that shows fans the same post on his official Facebook. In response, fans too have added simple but sweet messages towards Lee Sooman’s wife.

In light of all that has happened recently regarding the stars of SM Entertainment, fans seemed to have shifted their perspective on the company’s founder, perhaps humanizing the authorial figure of such a huge company. Details have yet to be released regarding the date of a funeral and mass, unless it will be private.

Once again, we offer our deepest condolences to Mrs. Lee, who has stood by her husband throughout all the rise and falls of his founded company.
