Four contestants of JTBC “Hidden Singer”, who have amazed thousands of viewers by imitating real Korean artists and out-singing them, have debuted under a brand new vocal group called The HIDDEN!

On September 19th, it has been revealed that the four winning contestants on the show program “Hidden Singer” have come together to officially debut as a 4-member vocal group produced by the none other Joo Younghoon, one of the top music producers in the nation and also a judge on the show.

"Hidden Singer" is a popular South Korean competition show where one Korean artist and his or her "voice doppelgangers" or "voice copycats" come out and sing songs behind numbered rooms, the audiences along with fellow celebrities having to guess which is the real singer in the course of multiple rounds.

Although most of the artists who have come out on the show were able to survive all six rounds, out-singing their voice doppelgangers and proving to the audience that they are the real singer, some unfortunate singers were beaten out of the competition by their “fakes”.

The first member introduced as a member of The HIDDEN is U.K, or Kim Sungwook, who was the one contestant on “Hidden Singer - Season 2” who was able to fool the audience into thinking that he was the real Yoon Minsoo of VIBE.

The second member of The HIDDEN is Zino, or Jang Jinho, who fooled the audience in the third season into thinking that he was the real Shin Seunghoon.

The third member Chulmin shocked the whole audience when he fooled them into thinking that he was the real Kim Bumsoo, the one artist many people believed to be the most difficult singer to copy.

And last but not least, the fourth member is Sunghyun. Sunghyun appeared in the second season of “Hidden Singer” as one of Jo Sungmo’s voice doppelgangers and won in the 2nd round, leaving the audience and the real Jo Sungmo to be speechless.

Producing genius, Joo Younghoon, had decided to bring these four amazing singers together to create a powerful vocal group for the Korean music scene. Despite the members’ talents of being able to perfectly imitate the real artists, they all are very skilled in singing with their natural voices as well.

The HIDDEN members expressed their dreams and goals of wanting to become a true singer; they want to be acknowledged for their own true talents and voices rather than being “imitators” of pre-existing Korean artists.

The group has released their very first single “We” on the 19th, garnering a lot of the netizens’ praises and support.
