In light of all the news surrounding Jessica’s departure from Girls’ Generation, a representative from the show “Jessica & Krystal” claims that the Jung sisters were supposed to release a collaboration together.

Jessica’s original post on Weibo about her departure from Girls’ Generation was so shocking that many thought she was hacked at first. Following that, SM Entertainment came out with a statement that Girls’ Generation will continue promoting as 8 while Jessica will continue her individual activities. Jessica then responded with her own official statement, where she expressed that she was shocked and upset when she heard the news from her agency and her members.

It has now come to light that Jessica and Krystal were preparing for a collaboration unit together and had even recorded a music video before the news broke out. A representative from “Jessica & Krystal” was quoted,"Jessica and Krystal had finished recording an album. After recording their music video there were even plans to continue season 2 of ‘Jessica & Krystal’ but a setback occurred after her departure from her group."
