According to Sports Donga and various insider sources, Jessica and Tyler Kwon are reportedly to be married May of next year in Hong Kong.

According to staff in the entertainment industry, Jessica and Tyler Kwon’s relationship has been an open secret for a long time. They expect the two to get married next May. Moreover, they stated that the two will be married in Hong Kong and spend time alternating between living in both New York and Hong Kong, due to Tyler Kwon’s CEO position at Coridel Capital Partners, which is located in New York.

Yesterday, SM Entertainment’s press release stated that Jessica will leave Girls’ Generation for her own private reason. Although SM Entertainment has not explained this ‘private reason,’ many believe it to be the marriage between Jessica and Tyler Kwon. 

Jessica recently launched her fashion brand “Blanc,” acting as both CEO and designer, and also plans to attend fashion school overseas. 

Despite the controversy, there seems to be little possibility of lawyer-up since Jessica’s sister, f(x)’s Krystal, is still part of SM Entertainment. Furthermore, SM Entertainment has promised to support and manage Jessica’s individual activities until the contract is officially over.
