Girls’ Generation kick-started their China fan meet tour on September 30th in Shenzhen, unfortunately without Jessica who has been confirmed to have left the group earlier today. While it may have seem like a happy event for both fans and the eight members of Girls’ Generation on the outside, it was actually bittersweet.

An ocean of pink was present at the fan meeting, as expected, however what made it even more spectacular was the hundreds of “J” pink light sticks added to it. Despite the news of Jessica’s departure from the group revealed only hours before the Shenzhen fan meeting began, Chinese fans quickly grouped together for “J” light sticks to show their support for Jessica.

Not only that, fan signs were also seen among the crowd that read "8+1 = Complete," fans clearly showcasing that without Jessica, Girls’ Generation will never be whole.

But the fan meeting did not go without the members shedding tears. Maknae Seohyun could no longer hold her tears back in one performance and began crying on stage. Yoona appeared to take her back to the main stage, appearing to comfort her as they walked together.

Seohyun was not the only one to shed tears that day, as Yuri was also captured on camera attempting to hold her tears back as well. A fan captured photo also reveals Yuri pointing her microphone towards her onlooking fans, her facial expression expressing heartbreak.

Yoona was also seen to be shedding tears for the departure of her friend, Jessica.

Girls’ Generation also showed their own support for Jessica in their own way, leaving Jessica’s solo parts in their songs such as “Gee” and “The Boys” unsung. The large audience of fans filled in the void for Jessica, singing her part with glee and unwavering support for the missing member.

As it was a fan meeting, a Q&A segment was a part of the event, but according to fan reports, going through this seemed difficult for the present members of Girls’ Generation. Some questions that were asked included “What is the biggest achievement for Girls’ Generation?” and “What are you looking to do in 10 years time?”, in which the audience kept shouting for Jessica.

Chapter 846: I'm sorry to say, but this is such a shady situation. Like- I realize that netizens can be malicious and are sometimes crazy, but this kinda issue isn't something that you can make up on the spot. Either it's true(or at least partially true), or there are some majorly outrageous people that have it out for her.
