Kim Gura revealed his thoughts on Jessica and SM entertainment’s conflict.

On the October 9th episode of “War of Words,” the debate regarding the conflict between SM Entertainment and Jessica was held.

The host of the program Kim Gura stated, “The audience are not taking this as a happy ending. Contrary to other idol groups, the Girls’ Generation member turned their back to Jessica. In the end, all groups go for their own good.” 

Kim Gura also stated, “Other members are actively participating in acting and singing, but Jessica seems to find her interest in fashion. If Jessica’s words are true, Jessica may be innocent.” Jessica previously stated that she was participating more in Girls’ Generation activities rather than her fashion business.

Jessica stopped her contract with SM Entertainment as of September 30th. SM Entertainment has stated through official notice that “Jessica has quit Girls’ Generation due to her personal reasons, and stated that she will finish her contract as of the next album. Even with constant attempt to correct our differences, we could not see a turning point.”

Along with that, SM Entertainment confirmed Girls’ Generation to officially work as a group of 8 from now on, and while deciding when to release the news to the public, Jessica posted her statement on her personal weibo, starting the huge conflict of 2014.
