Actor Son Hojun has shown his thankfulness towards Yunho of TVXQ.

On the September 26th episode of tvN “Youth over Flowers,” a variety show that follows a series of celebrities as they trek through a foreign country, Son Hojun continued his adventures without voicing his opinions, keeping his opinions neutral on the situations they faced as he and “Reply 1944” actors Yoo Yeonseok and Baro traveled through Laos. The three actors were forced to stay another day in Vang Vieng for this particular episode.

Watching Son Hojun’s attitude, the producers asked him whether he had any intention of succeeding.

Son Hojun replied that he is not a person with big ambitions, and also stated that he wanted to help “Youth Over Flower” succeed, but later changed his aim to not fall behind, rather than trying to help.

He also stated that he was never an active guy who participated much. He, of course, wants to succeed as well. There is one reason he wants to be successful, and that is because of TVXQ’s Yunho.

The actor had stayed in Japan for 3 months, and Yunho had come to his aid, buying him ramen and instant rice. “Without Yunho, I would have died [from hunger]. Thank you.”

Son Hojoon then added, “I grew up always with so much help from everyone. I want to pay them back, and in order to do that, I have to work a little harder. I didn’t have any intention to be a Korean star or anything.”
