YG Entertainment has revealed in a statement that BIGBANG’s Seungri was originally in ICU before being moved. 

Just last week, we reported that Seungri had been in a car accident that looked extremely serious on dash cam and from witness accounts. It was at approximately 3:30 in the morning on September 12th when Seungri collided with a Mercedes Benz in the next lane beside his Porsche, causing his vehicle to run into the guardrail and overturn. 

Soon afterwards, YG Entertainment revealed that Seungri had in fact checked into a hospital and was recovering. They stated, “It seems that Seungri’s condition has gotten much better, however, he is still being hospitalized”.

Now, the agency has revealed that Seungri was in fact checked into the ICU while being treated at the hospital. YG Entertainment told Ten Asia over the phone, "Seungri was moved a while ago from the ICU. He was in the ICU for about a week before being moved and is currently recovering."
