T-ara to promote in China; signs multi-billion won contract
K-NewsT-ARA signed a 5 billion won contract to expand their activities in China.
T-ARA’s agency and Longzhen Cultural Development, a Chinese entertainment agency, signed a 5 billion contract on September 5th. Longzhen Cultural Development has held concerts for various famous singers before such as Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung and A-mei. It is stated that T-ARA as well as their CEO were present at this signing and it is predicted that T-ARA’s promotions will raise an annual profit of over 16.5 billion won.
The girl group will begin their promotions in China with an official signing event and press conference on October 13th at the Shinsegae Hotel in Beijing. Afterwards, they are set to appear on China’s best TV programs, dramas, commercials etc., making their mark in the Chinese media.
T-ARA has already made a name of themselves in China, their music videos ranking number one on sites like YinYueTai. Longzhen Cultural Development hopes that with T-ARA, it can continue to grow the Hallyu Wave in China and open new doors of cultural communication.
