SM stock plummet
K-NewsSM Entertainment stocks have plummeted with news of Luhan filing lawsuit against the agency.
SM Entertainment stocks have taken a massive dip, dropping 9.41% in a matter of minutes since the news broke out. The drop puts their stock at 33,250.00, an all-time low since October 10, 2013 at 37,000.00.
Since news of EXO Kris’s lawsuit against the agency four months ago, f(x) Sulli’s sudden hiatus following a confirmation of her relationship with Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, and most recently, the withdrawal of Jessica from Girls’ Generation, SM Entertainment’s stock prices have dropped considerably.
Within fifteen minutes of news of Luhan’s actions being revealed, SM stocks have dropped by approximately 3,100 KRW. For a month after Kris’s lawsuit was revealed, SM’s stocks hovered at about 30% below their normal prices. Combined with the news of Jessica’s departure, this Luhan issue has now set SM 19% below the prices seen at the beginning of last month.
