My Comment:
I couldn't have saved a better story for the first recommendation of 2014 with this beautiful story! It's just so breathtaking and every single part of the story was nothing less than perfection. I knew that I had chanced upon a wonderful one-shot story just by reading the title.
Catching Buildings.
With a warm green tea in hand, listening to Jose Gonzale's Step out while lying on the bed, this night couldn't get any better with this story.
Never was I so compelled to read every single line in the story thrice before moving to the next sentence, and repeating it thrice again before moving on. The author's writing style was just so unique and enthralling that I subconsciously held my breathe while reading it.
It's a perfect yin-yang mixture of subtle angst with intense literature referencing. The story just couldn't get any better. My words wouldn't even make any justice to this story. It's those type of story where you read it and the whole story will just interpret it your way with your life, the story will belong to you. Now I'll never see a building the same way again.
I'll be running around with my arms out. I'll be catching buildings.
