TEN MONTHS LATER

You stood up from your armchair inside your office and went straight to the printer to get some paperwork done. It's been ten months since Hayul have left and your relationship with Jaejoong was, in a way, calmer, though not less passionate or loving as before. Also, it's been a month since Jaejoong was asked by your dad on a work trip to Japan. You have maintained yourself busy so that you wouldn't feel lonely that you almost forgot that Jaejoong would be coming back tomorrow.

"! I forgot!" You cursed as you heaved a sigh and shook your head. You went straight back to your office and sat down on your computer as you started to look for one of the best restaurants so that you could ask Jaejoong out on a date.

"____, your father is on the phone." Your assistant informed as she walked into your office.

"Mm, okay, thanks." You said as you picked up the phone. "Appa?"

"____? Oh! I'm glad you're not that busy anymore. There's something important I need to ask you."

"Hm, yeah, sure." You said, though your attention was actually on the computer. Woo...This restaurant looks good! You thought with a smile.

"Maybe it's not my business, but as a father, I will ask. Is your relationship with Jaejoong serious?"

"Huh? Serious?"

"Yeah...Do you imagine yourself still with him in the future? Maybe...married?" He asked.

"Are you really asking me this?" You asked, surprised.

"Of course. I know you're still young, but ____ - "

"Dad, I know you really want Jaejoong to be your son-in-law, and to answer you question, I do think my relationship is serious and why wouldn't I marry him? BUT, I'm not going to propose to him if that's your idea." You shook your head.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Why not? Because...I've always imagined being proposed, not me proposing." You furrowed your eyebrows.

"Okay okay, I've heard what you had to say." Appa heaved a sigh. "You've been so busy lately, do you still remember that his coming back tomorrow?"

"Yes, dad, I do. I'm actually looking for a restaurant so we can go out."

"Okay, I won't bother you anymore - "

"Wait! Did you really just call me to ask me that?" You asked, confused.

"Yeah, like you said, I like him very much, not like that Lee."

You rolled your eyes. You actually never understood why your father didn't like Donghae. "Okay, talk to you later then."

You hang up and then continued looking for restaurants. Just then, you found a perfect one. You remember hearing a lot of people say that the chef was excellent and besides it was Jaejoong's favorite food. You smiled as you picked up the phone again and called Jaejoong.

"Yoboseyo?" The wonderful voice that you loved so much answered. You smiled.

"Hi baby! I've missed you!" You said.

"Mm, hi ____, I've missed you too!"

You frowned. Doesn't hear like it. "Yeah, we're finally seeing each other again after a month. I would love to go pick you up at the airport tomorrow."

"Right...I'm not so sure, besides, I will be back while you're still working. I don't want to be the reason why you have to leave your work."

Is he serious?

"It's okay, really."

"I mean it, ____, there's no need for you to come pick me up."

Seriously?! Huh! He probably met another Japanese girl already!

"Well, would you at least go out with me tomorrow, for dinner?" You asked. "I would love to see you, Jae."

"Um...Call me again later, araseo? I'm kind of busy right now." He said and then hang up.

My mouth fell open, astonished. "Kim Jaejoong!"

I can't believe it! We haven't seen each other for a month or be able to talk to each other for three weeks, and that's how he treats me when we finally talk?! I'm so going to make him regret this! I can't believe it! Seriously?!

For the rest of the day, I tried to concentrate on my work, but it was useless, Jaejoong kept barging in my mind! Fine! If he didn't want to spend time with me, I won't even bother to look for a nice restaurant or even go pick him up!

I could finally find a little bit of peace when I went back home. I didn't do anything but just eat dinner and spend the rest of the night watching movies, soon, I even fell asleep.

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up really early so that I could get ready and go to work. When I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast, I saw the calendar and remembered that today Jaejoong was coming back home, which made me remember what happened yesterday. Honestly, I was more hurt than mad. I've always tried to be the best girlfriend, and I know I don't derserve being treated this way. I tried to not make a big deal out of it, Jaejoong and I don't fight much, and I was pretty sure that later on I can talk to him about it and solve this.

Though Jaejoong did tell me that he didn't want me to go pick him up, I decided to go anyways. I wanted to look pretty for him, so today I took more time getting ready.

First, I went to my office to get some things done as soon as possible so that I could have time to go pick up Jaejoong without having any problems with my boss. When I was done, I went to have some lunch and then waited for a while before it was time for Jaejoong's flight to arrive. According to his schedule, he was supposed to arrive at 6:00 pm, which made it perfect to go out for dinner, but I waited and waited and he never arrived.

I couldn't help but to start panicking a little bit. I tried to convince myself that Jaejoong was fine wherever he was and that we would see each other soon. When my patience was gone, I went to look for an officer and ask about his flight.

"Actually the flight arrived on time, at six," The officer told me. I was confused. It was already 7:00 pm.

"Could it be possible to know if all the passengers took the flight?" I asked.

He nodded, "Everyone did."

I nodded and thanked him before walking away. I picked up my phone and called my dad.

"____!" My dad exclaimed as soon as he picked up.

"Appa! I came to look for Jaejoong today at the airport but he's nowhere! The officer told me that it arrived on time and all the passengers took the flight! I can't stop thinking that something bad has happened!" I said without breathing.

"You are at the airport?!" Appa asked me.

"Ne!"

"Aish, I'm sure Jaejoong has an explanation for this. We'll find out soon, ____. Go back home and try calling him, araseo?" He said.

"Go back home? Just like that? What if something bad happened?"

"Stop worrying too much, I'm sure it's nothing. Yes, go back home, and don't rush, drive safe." Dad said. "I'll try to contact him and I'll let you know if I speak with him."

"Araseo..." I sighed as I hang up.

I had this terrible feeling in my chest, and no matter how much I tried, I couldn't stop worrying. Even though dad said that he was going to try and contact him, I couldn't help but to call him myself. It always sent me to his voice mail!

"Jaejoong, you better give me an explanation and you'll sure get punished for it!" I shouted into the phone. I hang up and took a deep breath.

The less I tried thinking about it, the more I worried. It got to a point that I almost burst out crying!

I went back home only to find it empty. I sat on the living room for a while and at 2 a.m. in the morning, I went to my bedroom to lie down. I've called Jaejoong fifty times, but he never answered. Without me being conscious of it, I fell asleep.

Here's the update! Lol, I started writting ten months after Hayul left, that's a loooooong time ^^. Anyways, what do you think happened to Jaejoong? I'll try to update asap! Hopefully I will be able to update again today! ^^
