HEADLINE 14TH: MARIA AND EMELIA ARE PROUD SINGLES!

A lot of idols sent their Valentines Day wishes to fans, friends and families with a lot of love and cuteness on February 14th, while members of 5 Pieces decided to do it a little differently. 5 Pieces’ outstanding leader, Maria, who often surprises and impresses fans with not just her great singing ability but also with her confident and ‘princess diva’ personality, uploaded on 5 Pieces’ blog a picture of herself together with a computer. On the picture she is smiling happily next to the computer with a fresh face and blanket around her.

To the picture, Maria wrote: “Valentine’s Day. Why are you saying ‘poor me to be alone on Valentines Day’? Can’t you see I’m on a date right now?”

She also wrote: “You are ruining my lovely date with my lover.” And under the picture she added with strikethrough text; “I’m never alone when I’ve got a computer with me”

Fans have been laughing over the hilarious picture and text, and it didn’t take long until fellow group-member Emelia uploaded something on the blog that made them laugh even more.

Emelia, who mostly is known for her ghost-like look, charismatic and playful image, wrote on the blog: “I was walking around, looking after someone. Where is she? I am smart, so I always know where to look…” And after the text a picture taken from a bit behind of a girl sitting by a computer is showed. Everyone can know who the person by the computer is, and Emelia made everyone laugh when writing: “I found Maria watching Naruto -.- when will she stop watch it??”

But a little later, another update on the blog by Maria came. She uploaded a picture of herself with Emelia, the two of them looking at the laptop, both very focused. Under the picture, the text wrote; “Two proud singles celebrating the greatness of not sharing chocolate on Valentines Day!”

Fans can’t stop laughing over the pictures and the text, and while fans are asking them to be their Valentines others are commenting like this;

“You are such geeks!! XD Watching Naruto on Valentines? No one but 5P can make that work!”

“Proud singles, sure you two aren’t on a date then? ^^, ”

“I … can’t … stop … laughing … !!!!”

“OMFG! You watch NARUTO??????”

“Haha! 5 Pieces is hilarious. What would Puzzle do without a doze of Pieces every hour? I love the pictures, your faces are true naturals, and that’s why we love you~”

5 Pieces member Carolina answered all those questions on tonight’s radio program. Carolina is mostly known for her part in 5 Pieces and her friendly character on her own radio program Chinhan Chingu. Being the first foreigner to DJ her own Korean radio, Carolina has been said to be the best Korean speaker in 5 Pieces just because of her two hours DJ-ing every day. The radio is popular just because Carolina makes the listeners feel like they are in the studio, being part of the conversations she has with the listeners and guests.

On tonight’s radio, Carolina talked about her group 5 Pieces. Fans who listen to the radio frequently would know that Carolina is not shy to reveal the truth from behind the scenes of 5 Pieces, and once again she had revealed some nasty things that have happened within the group.

Since Hannah is well known in Japan after her successful drama debut back in 2009-2010, fans have been wondering if the member who speaks Japanese so well has helped the other members anything as 5 Pieces have had some activities in Japan the past few months and Emelia is currently preparing for her solo debut in Japan. Carolina explained it on her radio like this;

“All of us are very supportive to the members having their own activities. EM is the second member to have solo activities in Japan, so because Hannah spent several months in Japan on her own before, everyone expected her to give the most advice, right? When we were promoting [I Love You] in Japan, Hannah was frequently scolded by EM. Why? Because our cute magnae is speaking Japanese so well but she didn’t want to help our cool rapper. No, the thing is that when Emelia practiced her Japanese, Hannah was listening to music and didn’t hear her questions, so Emelia scolded Hannah. Our magnae is always listening to music, and when she has these small little earphones, her hair is covering so we don’t know she is listening. But otherwise, Hannah is really helpful and she has taught Emelia some useful words. Everyone in Japan, you have something to look forward to.”

Carolina also revealed a story that included herself with Julia. The sweet Julia, who fans can’t imagine get angry with that face and image, seems to have more sides that she yet hasn’t showed. After listening to a song, Carolina said;

“Julia has joined me here on the radio a few days a week, but today I’m sitting here alone… She will be back on Sunday. Our sweet Julia was really nervous to join me here at the radio, but she did well, didn’t she? I’m proud…” After an awkward laugh she continued: “she isn’t as sweet as you all think she is. There is another side she hasn’t showed you; but I promise that I one day will lurk it out!”

She did explain what she meant by saying; “Julia is really sweet, but at times … she scares even me. One day, we had… what did we do? Well, we came home after finishing our schedule, tired and all that. And before, I used to sleep on a bed in the living-room, so after washing up I lay down in bed and started to watch TV. Nothing wrong with that, right? But … Julia came stomping inside the room, looking furious and asking what I was doing! She even threatened to throw the TV out the window if I didn’t turn it off! … It was really scary, believe me. But I mean, she was tired and we were going up early, and according to her, the volume is really loud when I watch TV – it’s not loud.”

Later, after doing a segment on the program where today’s topic was school rules. It made Carolina talk about rules in general, and … do 5 Pieces follow rules? The group is known for setting their own rules; in different reality programs it has been showed that the girls can say against their manager and those kinds of things.

“In 5 Pieces, we are more like pirates – we make our own rules. During out audition, there were sooo many rules that we couldn’t do a single thing. No cell phones allowed, don’t go outside the building without telling someone, yeah… But you should know that we often broke those rules. We often sneaked out to get some fresh air; and that was not because there was a rule telling us to not do it. It was because all practice made us deadly tired. One time we were chased around the neighbourhood when we got caught sneaking out. We are completely blaming our leader, because Maria was shouting on the way out that we are just going to the toilet… no one believed her.”

Carolina also said that even if the girls don’t always follows the rules, they make sure to not get in trouble. “The only one causing trouble is our manager; he is always scolded for not knowing where we run away to. Appa, it’s hard on you, isn’t it?” To add on the kind teenager, Carolina said that breaking rules isn’t good to a certain limit. Traffic rules and those big rules; do not break. While rules made by your parents – or for 5 Pieces’ case, SM Entertainment – you can at times break some of them as long as it doesn’t ruin anything.
