It has started. The kpop concert has started after all preparations during the day and also a press conference. Hannah is walking around in the waiting room, nervous and worried while listening to their songs in her small earphones. She had used the big headphones at first, but was scolded by Mi Young for ruining the hair.

“Could you please stop walking around? My head starts to spin,” Maria mutters from the table she is sitting by.

Hannah sits down by Maria’s words, pausing the music in her ears. “How are you feeling?”

The day before, Maria had said she felt a little weird, which they all thought was because of the long flight (everyone had a little jet lag), but during lunch today, they found out that Maria had gotten a fever. Maria had been sleeping most of the day and she is now sitting with a blanket around her, looking sick.

“Bad,” Maria answers. She doesn’t have a cold or anything, just fever.

Hannah taps her on the shoulder, somehow feeling bad for that their member is sick. Maria is still going to perform.

“Hannah,” a staff says by the door and waves Hannah over. Hannah goes over to the door and her shoulders sinks when she sees that Jihyun from 4 Minute is standing there.

“Let’s get over with this,” Jihyun says with her arms crossed over her chest. “I don’t like you, and you don’t like me. But don’t talk crap about me behind my back.”

“Okay …” Hannah says slowly in a low voice. “First of all, I have never talked behind your back. I don’t talk about you at all. Secondly, yesterday I was too tired to watch a movie with everyone else. Whoever said whatever to you has nothing to do with me. We are both aware of that we don’t like each other, so please stop confronting me about it.”

And with those words, Hannah walks back inside the room. She isn’t the rude type, but with people she doesn’t like she just gets annoyed.

Jihyun doesn’t want to walk inside the room, but she looks like she has more to say to Hannah as she glares after her. Hannah walks back to Maria, noticing that Key and Hyoyeon are also sitting there now.

5 Pieces performance is starting with [Original]. The charismatic melody starts and the audience seems to know what song it is as they starts to scream. It is a remix in the beginning of 5 Pieces intro song from their mini album last year.

Emelia says in her dark and cool voice; *Did you miss it?*

[Carolina] *Ha, 2011*

[Julia] *We’re back*

[Hannah] Pieces of One

And instead of having Maria say her part in the intro song, the remix lets all the girls scream together “5 PIECES!” so the audience screams loudly. They jump forward on the stage before the usual version of [Original] starts.

They are wearing a stage outfit for One and Only that still matches Original a little. Hannah is wearing a long hooded knit cardigan with a pin, a beige tank top under with stylish jeans shorts and high boots. Hannah keeps a cool expression during their [Original] performance. She sings seriously and she at times even looks a little worried whenever Maria is singing. Due to Maria’s fever, the other girls are ready to fill in if it is needed.

The ending comes and another chorus comes to an end. Hannah gives in when she sings *this world is mind; I grabbed it and took it* with her hand pretending to grab something very powerfully and she takes a step to the side to keep dancing when Maria gets in the middle to sing *no more hiding, step out and show them, ORIGINAL (whoa~)*

Maria is supposed to sing out loud and powerfully as the chorus goes on, but Hannah fills in with her when she notices that Maria can’t take it.

The chorus is repeating, this time singing *you, you. you* instead of *I, I, I* with Carolina and Maria both singing out in the background. Like the whole performance, the songs end powerfully with the audience loud cheer.

“Hello everyone! We are pieces of one-”

“5 PIECES!” they greets together with a bow before doing the same thing in English.

“Are you having fun?” Hannah asks in English and smiles when getting a loud response.

“We are very happy to have been invited for such an event, and in Australia!” Maria says and the audience screams when she says the country. “Thank you! We have prepared more for you tonight, so please enjoy!”

“Our next song is [I Love You],” Emelia introduces.

When they take their positions, Maria touches Hannah’s arm to get her attention. She whispers ‘thank you’ before they take their positions and Hannah smiles. It was because Hannah had helped her during the performance.

The song starts to play and Hannah cutely starts her part.

*I giggle like never before (hi-hi-hi)

I don’t know what to do

I blush like never before (ha-ha-ha)

I can’t, can’t control myself*

Maria does her part before the chorus comes, and the girls run out on the extra stages. They dance, sing and jump and make the audience join in. It is a fun performance and the audience sings along in the chorus and some other parts too.

They perform [One and Only] too and gets the same loud support from the audience.

It has all ended and they are preparing to return to the hotel when Hannah gets a phone call from someone she doesn’t know. A female voice is on the other line and Hannah can hear her unsure voice as she doesn’t recognize it.

“Is this Hannah, Kyung Ho’s friend?” the woman speaks.

“Yes? Who is this?” Hannah asks. She sees her manager look at her and Hannah turns her back against him to not be interrupted. She is still in the waiting room and everyone is almost ready to leave.

“Oh my … finally I got a hold of you!” the female voice says. “You are hard to find, Ms Hannah. But I know Kyung Ho would want me to call you.”

“Has something happened to him? And who is this?” Hannah wants to know.

“I’m so sorry, I work at the hospital,” the female answers and Hannah can feel the big stone in her heart. “Kyung Ho has gotten worse.”

“What do you mean with worse?” Hannah asks in a shaky voice. She sits down on the closest chair, staring out at the wall. “Is it serious?”

The nurse from the hospital tells Hannah that Kyung Ho will have to do another surgery where the chance of surviving is 70%. Before finishing the call, Hannah asks the nurse to give Kyung Ho a message.

“Tell him that … that I have kept his present with me all the time. Even during today’s performance, tell him that I had his Pikachu on me. And, please also tell him that I will come visit when I come back to Korea.”

“I will tell him that,” the nurse says.

They hung up. Hannah keeps staring at the cell phone, not knowing if she should cry or scream. Her manager tells her to hurry up, but not until he touches Hannah’s shoulder she reacts. She spaced out, thinking a lot and holding in the tears.

Hannah isn’t present on the bus or when they return to the hotel room. She is spacing out and she doesn’t react when someone says her name. Maria goes straight to bed, so the other members go out since they can’t be loud, while Hannah stays on the room. Maria is sleeping, so Hannah is spacing out while hugging Ace.

The next day, the girls are walking around a little while waiting to head to the airport. Hannah walks with sunglasses and holds on to Maria’s arm, the two of them talking for once calmly because Maria is still sick. They are enjoying the nice weather and the little free time they have.

The night had been wild. Everyone had apparently been running around more than the night before. Though Maria had been asleep and Hannah had been cuddling with Ace, it had knocked on the door more than ten times. Hannah had only opened six times though, and on the sixth time she hadn’t opened at first but Key had texted her so she had opened for him to come inside and give back the earphones he had borrowed from Maria earlier.

“Can’t we just drop by here before we go back?” Julia asks and points at a café they are close to walking by. They walk inside with much talk, all of them probably a little tired, and they all buy something to eat or drink before heading outside.

It is a calm day for them. Some fans notice them, two girls who had been at the concert the day before. They notice how tired the girls are when filming them from a distance, but they love to see how close they are. Hannah and Maria are linking arms, Julia is walking with her hand on Emelia’s back and Carolina looks close to Hannah as they are pointing at something and laughing.
