“Magnae, take away the cell phone,” Carolina is talking like a mother now when they are at the airport.

“Just a minute,” Hannah answers and puts the phone to her ear.

She has tried to contact the little boy Kyung Ho that she last year met at the hospital. They have been texting several times a week ever since, but for the past thee days Hannah hasn’t been able to contact him. She is worried something might have happened since she has called but he doesn’t pick up.

“Hi Kyung Ho, it’s me again. I am calling because you still aren’t answering my texts. Call me back as soon sa you can, okay? I will be in Sydney until Monday. Bye”

“Hannah!”

“I’m coming,” Hannah hurries after the others and a guard follows her to keep some fans away. Hannah waves at the fans when they wish them a safe trip and she almost runs in Carolina’s back before stopping.

Around 18 hours later, 5 Pieces arrives at the Sydney airport. The airport is crowded by fans and police men have come to the girls to the van waiting for them. Beside from 5 Pieces, also DBSK and other idol groups were on the same plane, so the airport is crowded with fans for everyone just like it was back in Korea. Maria is quickly next to Hannah and they link arms to leave. The fans are crowding around them. Hannah can see a little boy stand in the crowd, and he seems just as happy as everyone else to see the idols.

A teenage girl is crying, as Emelia sees in the crowd. The girl is holding a sign but she is screaming so much and waving it that Emelia barely manages to read that it stands ‘5P 4ever In My <3’.

Instead of going to the hotel, the girls are taken to the rehearsals right away.

Everyone that came together at the airport is taken to the rehearsals, so 5 Piece is far from alone when they arrive there. Fans are even now crowding outside the stadium.

Maria and Carolina are fast with their I-know-everyone-and-I-am-friendly behaviour, so Carolina is quickly seen talking to Miss A while Maria gets stuck by MBLAQ (or more correctly: Mir). Hannah is a loner today. She simply greets those she walks by but she has no interest in being friendly and chat. She has a lot in her mind now and she is worried for Kyung Ho.

The huge waiting room is not for just 5 Pieces. DBSK shares it too, and later also SHINee and SNSD will also use it. the SM family together. Though Hannah isn’t talking much to everyone else, she does talk to those in that room – like DBSK and her members. She keeps sighing and on the Pikachu key-ring she got on her birthday from Kyung Ho. She always has it with her, either in her bag, on the bag or in her pocket. She always has it.

While Hannah is sitting by the wall, she sees Carolina coming back from being social with Miss A. she is talking nonstop when taking out a pad from her bag and Hannah just looks clueless while Carolina is talking to herself and sits down by a table. Carolina gets quiet the moment she starts to draw in the pad and when Hannah glances away from Carolina’s back she sees that Changmin looks just as clueless as her self over Carolina’s sudden appearance and behaviour.

It happens at times that Carolina is weird, so Hannah and Changmin just smiles at each other when catching the other ones face expression.

Changmin comes over to sit next to Hannah. Even if she has seen him many times during the past three years, she is still stunned by his height and body. She secretly looks through the corner of her eye at how he sits down next to her and crosses one thin leg over the other, very manly and like a businessman.

“Did you stop using the leather jacket already?” Changmin asks her when he leans back in the seat next to her.

Their conversations have never been about something that’s important. Again the topic he chooses makes Hannah smile, and if it was a really close friend who would’ve said that she would even shake her head over the strange question.

“If you want to know, Emelia wore it instead,” she answers him in a joking tone. “She couldn’t find her own and mine was the nearest.”

Changmin gives a laugh and says it’s strange. She doesn’t really know what he means, but she doesn’t either ask. Half a minute of silence passes between them before Changmin asks what Carolina is doing, and Hannah answers that she is probably writing the manga versions of 5 Pieces. Carolina’s drawing will be printed on t-shirts for their concert starting in January.

“Whoa… that’s cool,” Changmin seems impressed.

He has seen Carolina draw many times before, and it’s almost breathtaking. Carolina has also a whole pad back at the apartment, filled with manga versions of her friends and several of 5 Pieces. Back when 5 Pieces went to the same school, Carolina drew one of Hannah for her birthday. It is still one of Hannah’s most precious gifts.

5 Pieces brought Ace with them to Australia, believe it or not. It is their first time abroad with him, and the whole group felt bad about the long flight. Maria is with him most of the time – dragging him around as she is talking to everyone in the other rooms – but Ace is then put in their room and he comes to sleep in Hannah’s lap since she is the only one not walking around.

Time seems to pass slowly.

“They are here!” Maria comes running inside the waiting room so Ace’s head goes up in fear and he almost runs away. Hannah has her arm around him, so he doesn’t even get up.

“What’s the shouting about?” Emelia asks with half-closed eyes.

Emelia had been very social with the other artists at the beginning – at least the guys – but had come back to their waiting room to chat a little with them there before dozing off. Carolina is still drawing with Changmin sitting next to her with big eyes and Julia has run off somewhere while Hannah is sitting by the wall with Ace, listening to music with her big headphones.

“SHINee’s arrival!” Maria is almost singing and she is flying around. They can hear people coming outside the room and Maria flies over to greet them, but the room bursts out laughing when SNSD’s Sunny and Seohyun walks inside the room.

Maria just simply taps them on the shoulder, looking behind them for SHINee. SNSD’s Taeyeon, Tiffany and Sooyoung come next, followed by Hyoyeon and Jessica. Maria actually looks annoyed and she looks out the room instead of greeting Hyoyeon and Jessica.

“Ya, why are you walking so slowly? Not you, You!” Maria tells someone in her own manner. She totally looks behind Key and Yoona when they arrives and Key – as the diva he is like Maria – totally ignores her too.

While Maria is waiting for Taemin or Minho, Hannah is greeted by SNSD – well, they show more interest in Ace – but she can’t help but to glance towards the door. Taemin comes inside the room and Maria walks inside too, followed by Minho and Jonghyun.

She feels so stupid the way she smiles when seeing Jonghyun and her smile just doesn’t disappear. Jonghyun takes a glance around the room the moment he takes a foot inside, and when his eyes meet Hannah’s, his whole face shines up in a smile.

Hannah keeps smiling when Jonghyun walks over to where she is sitting, but when he is just two meters away, Tiffany comes to take the only seat next to Hannah.

“He’s so cute!” Tiffany says and caresses Ace who is resting on Hannah’s legs.

Hannah can’t help but to feel that Tiffany is trying to step between her and Jonghyun, especially when Tiffany glances up at Jonghyun who turns to greet DBSK instead. Tiffany leans back in the seat, keeping a hand on Ace to keep caressing him.

“How did he do on the plane?” Tiffany asks and Hannah sees her glancing at Jonghyun again with a pair of eyes judging if he is enough far away.

Hannah looks weirdly at Tiffany, and when Tiffany looks up at Hannah she knows she has been caught.

“I just want you two to be a little more careful,” Tiffany is fast to explain. “Since there are a lot of idols here, I want both of you to not be too close.”

“Unnie-”

“I’m serious, Hannah, it’s your reputation,” Tiffany tells her with a serious tone.

Hannah just nods the first seconds. “Have you told Jonghyun?”

“I told him before, but he just said no one is suspicious,” she answers. “And just that’s why I want you to be careful.”

“Hannah, could you take Ace out a little?” Manager Park says.

Hannah nods and looks at Tiffany when getting up with Ace. “Can I go too?” Tiffany wonders, still wanting to caress Ace. Hannah nods again and with Ace in a leash for cats. Just when they have come outside the waiting room, Hannah gives Ace to Tiffany – because she looks like she really wants to hold him.

On the way out they greet those they pass and Tiffany is smiling brighter than Hannah like always. Now she also smiles brightly because she has a cute kitten in her arms.

The two eye-smiling girls walks outside to the nice weather in Sydney, and though Tiffany had told Hannah in a serious tone to be careful around Jonghyun, they are both happily talking about Ace when letting him down on the ground. He seems happy to come outside and both girls’ jogs around a little to play with Ace. They stay around the stadium, at the corners where there are no people.

“Little boy!” Hannah waves when they see two people outside the backdoor the girls earlier came out from. Taemin is one of the two and he waves back at her; the other one is one of SHINee’s managers.

“What are you doing?” Taemin asks when they come closer. He sits down on his heels when Ace wants to run to him – Tiffany is still holding his leash.

“Fooling around,” Tiffany answers and laughs when looking at Hannah who laughs too.

The four of them (Hannah, Tiffany, Taemin and manager) is outside for a while with Ace so he can run off a little. Taemin is running around like Hannah and Tiffany did when they first came out, and Ace is happily running after him.

Since Hannah isn’t doing anything, she takes out her cell phone. With the others knowledge she starts to film Taemin running with Ace after him, all of them playing well. Taemin laughs when running back and forth with Ace.

They are then told to head back inside. The rehearsals have already started, and there are some fans that have started to gather a bit away from these three idols. Hannah lifts Ace up when they heads back.

Even if Tiffany told both Hannah and Jonghyun to be careful, it’s impossible to stay away from each other. While waiting for their turn to rehearse, Hannah even walks up behind Jonghyun to put her arms around him. She simply takes her arms down and sits down next to Jonghyun when someone walks inside the room, but the cool thing is that most idols know that Hannah and Jonghyun are close, so when Jonghyun out of nowhere takes his fingers through Hannah’s hair, no one is reacting.

Tiffany is funny though. She takes Carolina with her, so when Hannah and Jonghyun are sitting next to each other around the table, Carolina comes to stand between them, pretending to join the conversation around the table. It’s like having eyes on you all the time. Tiffany and Carolina are like the too-much-skinship-police.

“Did you talk to Hyekyung?” Jonghyun asks Hannah when they are heading to the stage.

“Mm… did he tell you about it?” Hannah answers and asks, since Jonghyun mentioned it. “He didn’t let you listen, right?”

“No,” Jonghyun chuckles, “He said you would kill him if I did.”

Park Hyekyung, who helps 5 Pieces to record songs and also write songs, is also the one who helped Hannah with her ballad song a few weeks ago. Before heading to Australia, Hannah and Hyekyung had talked to each other and Hyekyung had told Hannah how it went when he played that song for Lee Sooman.

“They said it could give the wrong expression,” Hannah tells Jonghyun with a pout. “It said it was really good, but the meaning of the song…”

Hannah gets quiet as her Korean has reached its limit and she looks helplessly up at Jonghyun. He smiles and says Hyekyung explained for him.

The song [I CRY] seems to be too much for the sensitive Koreans, so Lee Sooman is in deep thoughts of if they can release it because a lot of people will probably wonder if the song is supporting suicide thoughts.

“I never planned of releasing it anyway,” Hannah says, “It was Hyekyung who wanted it.”

Jonghyun just puts his arm around her. He takes it away a few seconds later when they arrive to the stage.

“SHINee will do their rehearsal first, and then 5 Pieces will do theirs,” they are being told. Hannah does high five with Jonghyun and Onew to cheer them on for the rehearsal. A few seconds later, Maria takes Hannah with her to sit down on the white chairs in front of the stage to watch the rehearsal and wait for their turn.

Like always when a SHINee song is playing, Maria is singing along and now the two girls are cheering like fans on their friends on the stage. Maria screams ‘cool’ and ‘y’ for them, screaming like a crazy fan at times too, just for fun. During [Lucifer] both girls are doing the finger dance, really having fun.

A staff in a west comes over to them a little later, when the two girls still are enjoying the rehearsal. As Australian he doesn’t speak Korean, so he starts to “question” the girls in English. He is 29 years old and says that he has a younger brother who is a fan of 5 Pieces. Due to the rules, the girls can’t sign or even taken a picture for the younger brother.

Then it is 5 Pieces turn for rehearsal. SHINee is still on the stage, being told something. Hannah somehow finds herself being approached by Jonghyun. She smiles when he comes up to her, explaining about the microphone that the staff earlier told SHINee.

“I already know that,” Hannah laughs at him and he smiles like a foolish puppy at her. Though Hannah doesn’t notice, his expression kind of freezes when he sees her laughing.

“I knew you knew that,” he says when waking up from his freeze.

Hannah just moves her head back and forth to , laughing again when seeing his adorable smile again. He then hits her slightly on the arm for teasing him before smiling widely when he walks away. Hannah is about to drop it, but she then turns around to run a few steps behind him to hit him back and she reaches her tongue out when he turns around.

Hannah laughs when Jonghyun is scolded for still being on the stage and both of them smiles at each other when parting. Hannah joins her members and Julia has to repeat what she has missed.

“We will start with…” the staff says and looks at the papers. “[Original].”

5 Pieces will get to perform three songs. Three of their great songs; [Original], [I Love You] and the new [One and Only].

“Charisma,” Maria says when they are taking their positions.

Julia and Hannah start to laugh over the sudden word. They are in a good mood, and Hannah isn’t worrying too much about Kyung Ho at the moment. She knows she will start worry again later, but now she has fun with her members during the rehearsals.
