HEADLINE: KOREAN TOP STARS LINE UP TO WATCH 5 PIECES’ FIRST CONCERT

5 Pieces started their first ‘Moon Child’ Tour in Seoul this weekend with a concert on Friday and Saturday. And you can hear about it everywhere! 5 Pieces are known for being fighting idols and being the first foreigners making it in K-pop. With their very first concert coming up, the group should a lot of nervousness but they seem to have gotten a lot of Top Star attention as well.

On Friday’s concert, a lot of stars showed up to watch. SM Entertainment’s singer and VJ – Isak, started off the concert craze by writing on twitter that she is prepared to watch the first concert of the year. Later she also uploaded a picture taken with SNSD’s Jessica and Taeyeon; and with 5 Pieces from backstage of the concert. She seemed very excited after seeing the cool outfits 5 Pieces had for the concert.

A lot of SM Town artists came to show their support to 5 Pieces, including SNSD’s Yuri, Yoona and Sunny as well as actress Go Ara also took a photo with 5 Pieces backstage. Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Yesung and Donghae came with actor Kim Min Jong. F(x)’s Amber was also spotted at the concert. DBSK’s Yunho and Changmin were performing with 5 Pieces during the concert, and they showed a lot of support and gave advice to their juniors for their first concert. All the members in SHINee also came to the concert, though only three of them performed at the concert. On Saturday, more SM artists showed up such as Super Junior’s Siwon and SNSD’s Sooyoung along with solo singer Brian Joo came to enjoy the concert. F(x)’s Luna and Sulli also showed they were there through their me2day were they uploaded a photo from the concert writing ‘we saw 5 Pieces’ concert!’

On the two days 5 Pieces had their concert in Seoul, it was not just SM Town family that showed up among stars. Other idols showed that they were their, either uploading their own photos on twitter/me2day or being caught by fans that saw them. Members of Wonder Girls were caught at the concert and also a group of idols from Cube showed up – G.NA, 4 Minute’s Hyuna and Jiyoon, B2ST’s Doojoon and Hyunseung came together to watch the concert. Members of FT Island came on both days. The 1992-line members Seunghyun and Minhwan went one day while Jaejin went the other day together with MBLAQ’s Mir and Go. Everyone seemed to be excited about the concert, and U-Kiss’ Kevin also uploaded a picture of himself, Dongho and Kevin with 5 Pieces’ Emelia and Hannah, writing that they wouldn’t miss the concert for anything in the world.

With a lot of idols showing up on the concert, it is still not all. 5 Pieces have gotten a lot of recognition from top actors and actresses in Korea as many showed up to watch the concert. Actors such as Lee Ji Hoon and Lee Tae Sun were both caught in the audience and actress Eugene Kim went to watch the concert with some friends. Top actress Kim Tae Hee even came and she afterwards said it was that kind of concert where the artists and audience are as one. Actress/comedian Park Mi Sun also took a picture with 5 Pieces after the concert, giving them their support as well for the successful concert.

American song-writer and producer Melissa Allen who earlier have been rumoured to be working with 5 Pieces for future activities came to the concert, writing on twitter afterwards “that is what I call world class! One of the best concerts I’ve been too, and I don’t even know what they’re singing!”

5 Pieces seems to have started their concert well as all the artists seemed satisfied with the concert. Beside from all these big stars, family members of the group seemed to have come all the way from Sweden to Korea as well. Maria proudly uploaded a picture with her sisters who came all the way to watch the concert, and Carolina’s mother came as well.

HEADLINE: 5 PIECES IMPRESSES WITH 3 HOURS LIVE AT THEIR CONCERT, STANDING UP TO THEIR TOP IDOL STATUS

Idol group 5 Pieces has started their tour ‘Moon Child’ this weekend. After almost four years in Korea, the group was able to gather around 29,600 fans for the concert. With impressive number of fans that came to the kick off of the tour concert held at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea, it is nothing compared to how 5 Pieces impressed with three hours performing.

A lot of fans as well as artists who have had their own concert were impressed as well surprised by the great live skills of 5 Pieces during those three hours. For being the first time performing for that long, 5 Pieces surely showed that they are Top Idols. A total of around 40 songs were sung at the concert, including solo performances. Most songs carried both live singing and dancing and there was only one song in the whole concert not sung live. Though the end of the concert came, 5 Pieces managed to sing the ballad songs flawlessly even if they a minute earlier had revealed their throats were getting hoarse from all the excited singing they had done.

Fans were interviewed after the concert, and when asked which part was the highlight, no one could choose.

“The whole concert was a highlight” and “everything they did was different from another song, it’s hard to choose”, fans would answer. And for those who went to see the concert would know it was a lot of fun things during the concert.

The impressive concert showed all kind of 5 Pieces’ charms, and fans that will go on the concerts will definitely have the best three hours of this year. ‘Moon Child’ concert surely shows the growth of 5 Pieces for the past four years.

“It’s good,” Emelia says, sitting around the table at a photo shoot with a laptop. Hannah looks up. “There are like ten different articles about the concert from yesterday. All of them are praising us and saying we impressed with our live performances for those three hours.”

Maria sighs and takes the laptop from Emelia, saying that articles can’t say what fans really thinks. So she goes in on another site and looks around a little before she makes a sound and starts to talk. “Puzzle has even taken high quality pictures from the concert…” Just those words makes the girls come over to her side to see what kind of pictures it is. Maria went in on their official fan homepage, that is all about 5 Pieces. There aren’t a lot of pictures, but the one who uploaded says more will come in the week. The thread’s name is ‘5 Pieces’ 1st Moon Child Concert, Seoul’ and there fans who were at the concert who uploads information, photos and videos for those who didn’t go.

First on the thread is the official concert poster, followed by the concert dates and what countries/cities it is in. it stands that more concert will be added as SM Entertainment hasn’t announced all yet. There is also a link to another site where you can get goods for the concert, which has been specially made for that. The following posts are talks about the rumours the fans have heard, like what kind of songs they will be performing. One fan wrote that 5 Pieces’ manager had written on twitter that both Hannah and Emelia will perform their solo debut songs. Further down someone had uploaded a picture from a magazine 5 Pieces shoot with FT Island a while ago, and the picture is of Hannah and Honggi. ‘If these two performs Endless Love together, I think everyone can agree on that they are a couple, right?’

Hannah gives a disliking grimace, hoping that is not what everyone thinks since they did sing the song together yesterday and the day before.

They then find someone who has uploaded pictures from the concert, and following that is a lot of comments.

- “OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! My heart is still beating so hard, but I got to share this with everyone! I went to the concert and OMFG! I am so happy that I wouldn’t care if I died tomorrow, THAT’S HOW BIG IT WAS!” the fan started to write on the post. “The intro at the concert was KILLING! The concert is sooooo 5P style! The pirate concept was so hot and fun, and for exactly EVERY SINGLE SONG 5 Pieces made everyone scream and shout and we kept jumping when they were jumping and they were so damned beautiful and perfect. But you guys know how all the antis says 5P is disrespectful? Screw them! They kept thanking their fans and DBSK and those who performed with them over and over again. Honestly, I cried so much all the time! I can’t write anymore, but here comes the first pictures for everyone”

The pictures aren’t high quality, but it is still pictures. There are pictures from the beginning when they were dancing. Maria hurries by the uninteresting pictures as the girls are looking for comments on the concert.

- “I had actually told myself to not expect too much since it is their first concert and they have had a lot of other schedules recently, but I lost my voice not even halfway in the concert!!!! It was freaking awesome!!”

They are so adorable that we fans cried too, right? But the opening was really cool too… and then when Maria sang with DBSK was do damn outstanding, she looked so happy! But who can blame her ;) DBSK looked happy too… can’t blame them either ;) I bet they are reminded of their own group o___o I also liked when they were running around in their cute clothes. Carolina kept falling XD It was so fun!! Their ballads are so beautiful, I think I cried so many times when hearing their voices O_O oh gee, I can’t stop counting the highlights; the whole damn concert was great!”

5 Pieces keeps reading the greatly positive comments about their concert and it is almost like they want to hug each other. They have succeeded in giving back to their fans, maybe not giving back everything, but at least the fans have taken notice in how much they work for not themselves; but for their fans. They look through photos when someone calls for them to gather around. Within a minute the girls are standing in front of the photographer, posing for the ‘It Matters’ charity project. They are posing with signs for the charity photo shoot, and though they hadn’t gone to bed until around three in the morning, they are showing sweet smiles and they don’t look so tired. But on the inside, they feel dead. They are so tired from all the nervousness and performing and excitement from the concerts that their bodies are moving on their own for the photo shoot.

Later when waiting for her turn to take solo pictures, Hannah lies down on a blanket on the floor and sends texts on her cell phone. Stylist Mi Young comes by and Hannah looks up at her, looking like she won’t get up even if an earthquake came.

“I’m hungry,” Hannah tells her and laughs when Mi Young tells her there is only banana milk in the dressing-room. “Can you please get me one?”

Mi Young waves her hand and walks away, so since she doesn’t say anything Hannah looks after her to see where she goes – to see if she goes to get the banana milk. When she looks after Mi Young she sees a camera filming from a distance, slowly coming up to her when filming. The camera-woman is European, so Hannah knows she is from Sweden. Hannah is still lying down on her stomach, holding her upper-body up with her arms. The camera comes up from behind.

“What are you doing?” the woman asks in Swedish.

“Resting,” Hannah answers, also in Swedish, “And waiting for my turn to film.”

“Do you often rest on the floor like this?” the woman wonders and Hannah gives an embarrassed laugh and she sits up, putting her sweater on her knees. She answers; “Normally, it is Maria who rests on the floor. Since she is shooting now, I have taken her place.” Behind the camera-woman, Mi Young comes back with two banana milks. She hands over them both to Hannah who thanks her. Mi Young then goes to help Julia with her hair.

Hannah puts in the little straw in the banana milk, putting the other one next to her as she won’t drink two at the same time. “This is banana milk,” Hannah says in Swedish and shows it for the camera. “I’m not that fond of banana, but this banana milk is really good. Do you want to try?”

The woman shakes her head, so Hannah drinks instead. Hannah takes some sips of the milk before the woman asks her if she is tired. Hannah nods, of course she nods, it’s not like she would lie.

“We are all tired today. It feels good that we only have a photo shoot today,” Hannah answers. “But in a few days we will perform on stage with a new song, so we have practice after this.”

“Isn’t it tiring to have a schedule all the time?”

Hannah can’t help but to smile by the question. “It is tiring, but honestly, a few months ago I had to rest my body, so I didn’t have a schedule for some weeks. And it was really boring! Even if I get tired, I would rather have a schedule than not doing anything. It’s more fun that way.”

“Why did you have to rest a few months ago?” the woman asks.

“Because my body is weak,” Hannah laughs when realising how it would sound like. “My body got too tired, so I had to rest even if I didn’t want to.”

A few minutes later, Hannah gets up to fix her hair and make-up so you can’t see she has rested. She then goes to take her solo shoots.
