Nothing has changed.

Mina and Sehun are still clueless about each other's feelings.

Jongin is watching Mina from afar while he tends to Jinhee.

Mina was at work. It was a slow day but it was busy in the kitchen. Mina was quickly icing a cake. She kept her promise.

“soooo for my birthday......” Sehun tries to hint what he wants

“hahaha fineeeee I'll make you my famous strawberry short cake” Mina laughs at Sehun, who's smiling like an idiot

Mina smiles when she recalls that day. She starts to giggled to herself when she remembered how Sehun treated her like royalty those days when she was injured. Now that she thinks about it.... Sehun has always treated her like a princess.

“Could it be.....” Mina shakes her head at the thought. “Nahh he wouldn't have the same feelings for me.”

Mina continues finishing up the final touches.

Mina finishes up writing “Happy Birthday Sehun!!!” She added a small heart after his name.

Right on time, Mina's phone starts to vibrate.

“Helloooo” Mina greets the birthday boy.

“Yah! Where are you?! Lets hang out today!!” Sehun demands like a happy puppy.

“Why? I'm kinda busy today?” Mina slyly smirks.

“WAE?!” Mina quietly laughed hearing Sehun's outrage.

“YAH!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS?!?” Sehun continues to rage.

“YAH!! HUSH! I'm just kidding pabo. Happy birthday!!!!” Mina cheerful greeted.

“......... i hate you.” Mina's eyes widen when she suddenly hears a dial tone.

“huh?!” Mina looked at her phone.... suddenly it started ringing again. Mina pressed answered and before she could speak....

“I hate that I can't stay mad at you.....” Sehun admitted.

Mina found herself blushing but laughing at the same time.

“He's too cute” Mina said silently said to herself.

“Let's hang out today!!” Sehun announces.

“Sure. I get off work in 30 minutes. Where should we meet up?”

“Nah. I'll pick you up. See you in a few minutes.” With that said, Sehun hang ups before Mina could say anything.

Mina finishes up the cake and packs it up. Sehun shows up at the bakery a few minutes later. Both say goodbye to Mr. Choi before leaving.

“So where are we off to birthday boy?”

“Hmm nothing special.... I just wanted to spend my birthday you.” Sehun's eyes widen when he realized what he just said.

“Sehun what the crap?!” Sehun mentally scolded himself.

Meanwhile, Mina felt herself turning pink at his words.

“um... awwww that's cute” Mina reaches over and pinches Sehun's cheeks

Suddenly Sehun's phone starts to ring. It was Seulong. Sehun asked Mina to hold the phone to his ear.

“Hyung.... umma is home. She wants to see you... like right now. ” His brother said over the phone.

Instantly, Sehun hit the brakes, causing Mina to drop the phone and both to almost fly forward if it wasn't for their seat belts.

“SEHUN! Are you okay?! What's wrong?!” Mina asked worriedly Sehun picks up the phone.

“Seulong...” Sehun calls out for his brother.

“Hm?” the younger one responds.

“Right now right now?” Sehun asks.

“Right now...”

Sehun gulps and looks over at Mina. He didn't want to cancel plans and just leave Mina. They were barely together for 15 minutes. Plus, he wanted to spend his birthday with her. However, Sehun wasn't really sure how his mother would react with bringing a girl home. When he first introduced his first girlfriend to his mother.... dear lord, the girl nearly ran out of the house in the first 5 minutes. If it wasn't for Sehun's quick reflexes, he would've be single that day. Mama Oh was very intimidating. It's really hard to impress her, being a co-CEO of the family company. She only wants the best for her sons. His mother is the main reason why Sehun didn't date for a long time but then Mina came along. She would be the first girl in years that he would bring home.

“She's worth the fight”

“Uhhh Mina.... change of plans.... We're going to have dinner with my mother.” Sehun made a u-turn, going toward the direction of his house.

“PFTT! -coughcoughcough-” Mina was drinking water when Sehun told her the plan.

“OMO!.... MINA ARE YOU OKAY?!?!” Sehun panicked as he went back and forth between Mina and the road.

Mina, on the other hand, was speechless.

“I'M GOING TO MEET HIS MOTHER?!?” She mentally screamed.

“Sehun... are you sure?? I mean, I don't want to intrude on a family moment. I mean..... What would your mother think?......i mean.....i'm not your girlfriend”

Ouch

That definitely crushed his heart hearing those words. Not only did it hurt Sehun, but it also hurt Mina as well.

“I wish I was your girlfriend”

“I wish you were my girlfriend”

“No! It's okay. It's totally fine. My mother will understand.” I hope

“BUT..... i'm not dressed appropriately!” Mina was coming up with excuses, but it was also true. Mina was just wearing a simple white tank top, with a navy blue cardigan and black skinny jeans that was some traces of flour on it from her carelessness while she was baking.

“You're fine. You don't have to dress fancy. Just because I come from a wealthy doesn't mean you have to dress all classy. Besides, you look beautiful in anything you.” Sehun took quick glance at her. He smiled to himself after complimenting her. Mina's face started to get hot after hearing his words.

“....um... thanks... okay then... let's go.”
