The Journey That Lead Her To HimIts been a week since the Kims left for their 3 month vacation. Mina couldn't believe she chickened out. She was so close, but she panicked. The good news, she didn't receive a rejection. The bad news, she didn't really confess her feelings. She couldn't really blame anyone but herself. She hated this feeling. The feeling of wanting him by her side. She really needed this separation from Suho. In deep thought, Mina looked back on their friendship. Mina was able to survive 2 years with Suho. Within those 2 years, she was able to harbor her feelings. She was able to act like nothing was wrong with their bond, but deep down she wanted him to be his. Twice, she was able to witness be the lover of 2 lucky girls. At a young age, no girl should ever feel the heartache she goes through. She began to wonder what would happen if Suho was able to find another girlfriend in the future. Will she be able to step aside and watch another love story bloom for him? “I can't take this anymore.”
It has now been 2 weeks without Suho. It seems that Mina seemed to adjust very well. Although she missed him, she took advantage of the time apart. She took care of her studies, spent time with her family and friends more. There were days where she had so fun that she didn't even think about Suho. All she did was focus of herself.
While on a morning walk around the block, Mina noticed a moving van a few houses down from her's. She saw an young couple that looked around her parent's age. Examining the size of the home, she hoped that the couple had children. Deep down, she really hoped it would be kids her age. It's not that she didn't have a lot of friends. She had plenty. It just, most of the kids in her block weren't around her age. She wanted a close neighborhood friend.
Arriving home, Mina saw her parents preparing for work. A normal sight for her to see. Since Mina was able to enter her 3rd year of high school, she was at that age to start thinking of what she wanted to major in and where she wanted to go.
