A Memorable Birthday
The Journey That Lead Her To HimTears fell down Mina's face as she recalls the phone conversation earlier with Suho. He told her how the some roads were closed and some bus routes were canceled until further notice. Mina laid on her bed, cursing the snow for ruining her birthday plans. Besides her grandparents and Suho, other relatives and friends also called and broke the sad news that they couldn't make it because of the roads. Mina was heartbroken because people she loved weren't coming but most of all. Suho wasn't coming. A little selfish but yes, she was mostly upset that he wasn't coming anymore. After what seemed like hours of crying, Mina got out of the bed and went downstairs. She needed to get mind straight. She remembered that she still has other important people that are already here and doing everything they can to make tomorrow special. She helped clean the house and helped prepare and cooked for for tomorrow. It was a long day but all the preparing for tomorrow was able to keep her mind from thinking about Suho. Its already 3AM. Mina dropped face first on her bed and instantly fell asleep, .................................but only to miss the new text message that came minutes later.
Mina was awoken to loud chatter coming from downstairs. She looked around her room and noticed a light shining passed her curtains. Quickly, she drew back the fabric and for the second day in a row, her eyes widen at the sight in front of her. A bright sun and clear blue skies. The complete opposite of yesterday, except for the snow, which now looked like a good foot and a half. She made her way downstairs only to be attacked with hugs, kisses, yelling and a firing of a confetti gun.
"Happy birthday Mina!"
"Happy birthday my lovely niece!"
"Happy birthday Unnie/Noona!!"
"Woohyun you idiot!! We were suppose to use that confetti gun for the party!!!"
Due to his son's stupidity, Mr. Nam smacked Woohyun with the confetti gun. The house was finally decorated and everything was all in place. The party was to begin at 3PM and it was already 12. Everyone started to get ready. With about 19 people currently in the Nam residence and only 4 bathrooms with showers, the wait to take a decent shower was a nightmare. With the thought of the water bill later on, Mr. Nam was secretly crying on the inside.
"My dear family, I love you all but.. why didn't you all rent a hotel roo
