“I told you, you can’t come!” Suzy yelled as she quickly packed all of the clothes and things she needed for her trip. “Tomorrow is your first day of school, do you really want to miss that just to see me off?”

You thought her question was completely ridiculous. “Yes! I don’t care if I miss the first day of school, I want to be there when you leave,” you said stubbornly, crossing your arms over your chest.

“You’re not coming.”

She cut you off, “No is a no, okay? You are going to school whether you like it or not.”

You pouted and stormed to your room like an angry little kid. “Meanie,” you stuck your tongue out at her from your side of the room, knowing that she won’t be able to see you.

“Well, unlike you, I don’t have to go to school anymore since I already graduated. I know how much you want to see me off, I just can’t let you do that and miss your first days of school,” she explained.

Nodding your head, you finally gave up, you knew it was hopeless to argue with her since she always wins. “Fine. You’ll call me the moment you land, right?”

Suzy let out a little laugh and placed a hand on yours, “Of course I will! I’ll just have to make sure that you’re out of school when I do that.”
