~ Lollipop ~
 

“Oppa!” it was the voice of an angel’s – sweet and innocent. With a smile of her face, Taeyeon ran towards her brother who patiently waited for her, his hands in his pocket and a curious look on his face.

He turned to see his little sister come out of the front door, finally ready for their play-date with her friend. “Shall we go?” he asked and Taeyeon nodded her head in amusement. Holding his arm out to Taeyeon, she happily linked her arm with his.

The two siblings skipped towards their destination. Taehyung didn’t mind acting like this with his sister, he actually enjoyed it. He had the mind of a kid himself but tried his best not to show it from time to time. He liked being a big brother.

With her free hand that wasn’t linked to Taehyung’s, Taeyeon tugged on his large, flouncy white shirt. “Oppa,” she looked up to him and smiled. “Are you excited to meet Chanmi unnie?”

Taehyung felt his cheeks heat up after hearing her question. He was excited to see her, but he can’t say that. Only because he has only known her for less than a day. “I’m more excited for you, I haven’t seen you smile like this in a long time.” He answered, he wasn’t lying – it has been a long time since he’s seen her smile.

“That’s because I’ve made a new friend! And Ji Hyun unnie is teaching me music again! How can I not be happy?” she beamed.

Taehyung couldn’t even imagine how lucky he is to have a cute little sister like her. He didn’t know what he’d do if he hadn’t had a bright star like her shining beside him. His life would have been so boring without her around.

“Hyung?” Chan’s voice cracked the moment he saw him. He was obviously bewildered. Sitting on the right side of the bench, he turned around only to see Taeyeon running over towards him, a bright smile on his face.

Taehyung couldn’t help but smile. Walking over towards the bench where the two siblings sat, he ruffled Chan’s hair. “Ah, so you remembered me,” he giggled.

Sitting on the left side of the bench, Taehyung couldn’t help but let out a small smile as he glanced at Chanmi. She was even prettier than he remembered.

Taeyeon jumped in front of Chan with an excited smile on her face. “Yah, want to play some basketball?” she asked.

“Sure!” he answered and just like that, the two were off leaving only Taehyung and Chanmi behind.
