“Nervous?” she asked.

“Confused.” You told and she chuckled.

“You’ll know soon.” Your mom said and fixed her dress. Your mom sure is old in age but like what others say, age is just numbers and you can say that to her case. Because no one will believe that she’s 58 years old with that outfit and her skin is still soft and young looking.

“Ma’am. It’s time.” A staff said and your mom nodded.

“Come on.” Your mom took your hand and with that, familiar children dressed in cute white dresses and suits came out of the room. They all lined up with the staff’s guide while your mom went in front of you making you the last in line.

“Mom. Seriously. What is happening here?” you asked with a serious tone. “Why are they here?”

“Just relax will you. Just follow me, promise you’ll thank me for this.” Your mom said to you and turned to give you a wink before giggling by herself. “I’m so excited KYA!!” she started fangirling.

Then, Tao’s mom came out wearing a white short dress and greeted your mom that made you shock. You never knew your mom can speak in Chinese.

“How are you?” your mom squeaked. 

“I’m so nervous, by the way. I love your dress.” Mrs. Hwang said to your mom and you just watched them trying your best not to open your mouth.

“Me too. Oh my god. I can’t wait to see our grandchildren!” your mom said and the two of them fangirled.

“EHERM!” you faked a cough and the two turned to you.

“Oh hi sweetie, you looked amazing!” Mrs. Hwang said along with a hug.

“Thanks ma, but what’s happening here?” you asked and she just answered with a smile.

“You’ll know later, Rei-ah.” Mrs. Hwang said to you and resumed their chatting until big doors of the room beside you opened revealing an elegantly decorated stairs as the music started.
