Her Thoughts. His Perception.
The Forgotten Love/Yubbosaeyo?/
/Seungri ah!/
/Oh! Boss!/
/Aishh! How many times must I repeat myself to not call me that?/
/What's going on there? Are you guys coming back already?/
/Actually, I call you just to tell you the exact opposite. We're moving back to Korea./
/WHAT?!!/
/Wow wow. Chill young man. We're planning to shift the firm back to Seoul and we're thinking of taking you guys along with us too. I know it's a little too rush but I would like to hear what you guys think. This is going to be a great opportunity for you guys and I'm sure you miss Korea too also right?/
/ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I'M DYING TO RETURN TO KOREA!!/
/Really? Great! Look, I'm going to have to make some arrangement here first. I would be flying back soon to settle the things there. But, before that, I need you to inform Seohyun about this. Yoona had been trying to contact her but she's unreachable./
/Your wish is my command~/
/Haha! You didn't change for even a slightest bit. Okays! See you soon, Seungri ah!/
/Neh!/
I hung the call with a broad grin on my face. That news was a little too good to be true. I'm finally going back to Korea?! I miss that place so much! Besides, it had been a great experience working here. It would be a waste if I were to end my internship now. Daesung is right. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
Oh wait. Just now he asked me to inform that Joohyun girl. Yoona hadn't been able to contact her? Wasn't her in her office? Come to think of it, I hadn't seen her often these past few days. Wonder what happened to her... Better check it out. My ricebowl is at stake here.
"So here you are~" I turned back and saw that irritating Seungri walking towards me. I ignored and continued to look at the skyscrapers.
"What are you doing here?" I spoke up but made zero eye contact with him. "I'm too worn out to be bickering with you."
"The rooftop is accessible for all. Whatsmore, you're intruding my space in case you didn't notice."
"What? Say again." I glared at him with a puzzled look.
"Look at where you're standing." He pointed his finger down and smirked.
I followed the direction and looked down. True enough, there was a small placard placed against the wall, stating 'Lee Seungri's Corner! Trespasser would be shot. Survivor would be shot again.'
I couldn't help but let out a laugh.
"I didn't know the all-so-serious Seo Joohyun has 'laughter' in her dictionary." He teased.
I shot him a glare immediately and he raised his hands in mock defeat. I rolled my eyes and turned towards the skyscrapers once again.
"Come on. What's wrong with you? I thought I would earn a slap or something." He leaned against the railing beside me and asked.
"I already told you I'm not in the mood for jokes nor quarrels, Seungri." I sighed. "Just leave me alone..." I felt that tears was welling up in my eyes once again.
"Then spit it out. It's better than bottling them inside. You're gonna die from internal injuries."
I turned my head and our eyes met. For some unknown reason, my mouth moved involuntarily and I started to blurt out everything that was on my mind.
It was a normal weekday and I was returning home from work. I came home a little earlier to drop Mum and Dad a surprise. It was their thirteenth year wedding anniversary and I had decided to prepare a cake to celebrate with them.
"I'm back~!" I exclaimed the moment I opened the door and removed my heels.
